Recently 4 past presidents had their say about Donny and his governing style….on the nation’s 250th birthday these men looked at what awaits the country in the near future.
Four former presidents delivered similar warnings on 250th birthday of the US: American democracy doesn’t run on autopilot. Joe Biden, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton each marked the milestone with calls for civic engagement and a renewed commitment to democratic norms, the Hill reports. Their messages:
- Biden cast the Declaration of Independence as an unfulfilled promise and stressed that democracy must be fought for and earned repeatedly, while maintaining that Americans are less divided than they appear.
- Obama described the country as a “work in progress” and said every generation must advance unfinished efforts to improve the nation.
- Bush, asked what the next 250 years require, emphasized voting and participation even when election outcomes disappoint, calling the ballot a “powerful freedom.”
- Clinton issued the sharpest critique, citing “deep division” and unnamed leaders who weaponize institutions and try to rewrite history, but he said the country’s strengths can still repair its flaws.
Okay these guys put lipstick on that floundering pig.
Biden needs to wake up and see that the nation is more divided than ever.
Obama was just plain optimistic maybe he should have given that advice to the Dems in Congress for the past decade.
Bush needs to tell this stuff to the party he represented in the past for they are doing all possible to end the ‘power of freedom’ that is the vote.
And then there is Clinton who need not preach to the nation after he and his minions have done what we are facing now to this country.
That is about all I have to say about the 4 past presidents and their attempt to look like they can make a difference….they cannot.

I feel the same as you, chuq.
😎
The past is … well … past. We live in the NOW and (contrary to what some folks preach), we have no control over what will happen in the future … not even within the next minute. So best to go with the flow, but do whatever is within our power to bring about things that will lead to a positive future.
And not just talk about it.
There is the problem….lots of talk little progress chuq
You summed it up perfectly, chuq.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanx Pete chuq
