For at least a decade (it really began on 1980 and slowly burst into flames in 2010) we have heard that the US is looking at a second civil war some even think this is our second revolution…..but what will it take for these dire predictions to come to life?
There is a simulation that states we are looking at the beginnings of a new civil war….
What’s the most surefire way to achieve Civil War 2.0 in the United States? According to one wild simulation, it’s exactly what’s happening right now in Minneapolis.
In October 2024, researchers at the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law (CERL) at the University of Pennsylvania conducted an experiment in which a president ordered a widely condemned federal law enforcement operation in the city of brotherly love.
To carry out the operation, the simulated president tried to federalize the Pennsylvania national guard, which the governor resisted. National guard troops who sided with the state followed suit, prompting the fictional president to order acting US military troops to march on Philly.
According to CERL director Claire Finkelstein’s breakdown of the simulation, newly published in the Guardian, the experiment culminated in a “violent confrontation” between state and federal forces in a major US metropolis.
Finkelstein notes that the war gaming exercise included actual government officials and former senior military leaders, none of whom “considered the scenario unrealistic.” The results were based off the assumption that during a rapidly evolving civil emergency like this, courts would be largely ineffective at stopping federal overreach.
Though the early stages of the Philadelphia simulation closely match the brutal events citizens in Minneapolis have experienced at the hands of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, the model diverges from reality in one key way: municipal and state officials don’t seem interested in attacking ICE agents anytime soon.

It is a fascinating take on the events occurring today….
How long will the American people tolerate this abuse of government power?
From years ago all the rhetoric about confronting government abuse, you know those fat ass militia twats that were all talk, if this is not what they were going on about what the Hell is it?
I say keep it up do not let this become a standard for us to just stand by and ignore the abuses of Donny and his band of idiotic thugs.
I hope the spirit of 1776 has not been lost.

Other than slavery, the second volitile issue of Civil War was the south’s insistence that it could dismiss any federal law. It’s called “nullification”. That’s what is going on in a dozen sanctuary states and probably 1,200 sanctuary cities. Now they are even resisting local, state and federal law enforcement and have declared the supremacy clause of the Constitution invalid. Where’s the outrage ? Especially astonishing is elected officials even in congress support and justify present day nullification. Where’s the outrage ? Four years of open borders are another example of nullification by congress and even a president. where was the outrage ?
If I am right was the4 nullification stuff originally about tariffs? No outrage? The same could be asked for the heavy hand tactics of ICE that has not really done anything but arrest more citizens than criminals. chuq
There could be many triggers for some sort of civil “violence” to counter governmental overreach but I tend to think it’s going to be related to the upcoming election rather than ICE-ala-Minnesota on another city or state. Trump knows full well he will likely lose the House (tying his hands) if not both houses (being impeached and tossed out this time). He’s already setting the playing field for that battle with bringing up the imagined election fraud of 2020 and using it to somehow using it as some example to justify it to federalize all or parts of the election process, which he can then control. He’s currently stepping up the voter ID thing to not only make it difficult for many people to meet the requirement, but it also sets up the conditions for him to claim imagined local fraud.. and sending in the Guard to intimidate. As soon as the dissenting demonstrating crowds build around polling places that would be immediate justification for federal intervention.
But because the polls are open only for a short window the logistics of sending troops to so many areas in the same window across the country would prove huge. What would likely happen is “trumped” up accusations of election fraud after the polls closed, and only in blue areas. Completely tie up the election results in a myriad of chaos with federal authorities seizing ballots and the subsequent court actions. He could declare federal emergencies to intervene in blue areas.
Either of these things could spawn public violence, with a particular risk being between local law enforcement, city or state, and Guard members, especially Guard members from other states deployed from red states. As for some “formal” national civil war of open revolt against the federal government in general… not sure I see that… yet. Because if we get that far… there is no going back.
That is the plan….intimidation of blue areas….with a country awash in guns anything is possible….all it takes is one stupid move. chuq
My guess is some kind of ‘false flag’ attack, probably linked to the midterm elections. Perhaps directly on Trump, or a federal institution. They will blame radicals, liberals and Democrat voters, clamp down on Blue states and anti-Trump cities, use martial law to keep people off the streets, and so on. I don’t think it will come to a civil war, more likely a MAGA/Trump coup assisted by the military. They are already building huge ‘detention centres’, which could easily be used as prison camps soon. Best wishes, Pete.

They are prison camps they just try to soften the image by calling them detention camps. chuq
