Flash: Inflation Has Been Beat!

At least that is what we are being told by the man with the plan….the problem is when I shop I do not see any relief…..how about you?

… polls show widespread anxiety over the cost of living—and as some within Trump’s own party question whether he’s focused enough on those concerns.

Trump insists his administration is turning things around. “We inherited a total mess from the Biden administration,” he said this week. “The Democrats caused the affordability problem, and we’re the ones that are fixing it.” Last week, he called the affordability issue a “con job” pushed by Democrats. A New York Times analysis sees Trump as being in essentially the same position as then-President Biden early last year: “Telling the American people that they are doing great, when many don’t feel that way.”

Trump asserts that inflation is “essentially gone” and says the outlook will keep improving as the effects of his tariffs take hold. But year-over-year inflation is actually up slightly, and prices have only increased since the president declared “Liberation Day” in April thanks to his tariffs, and promised that relief was on the way, per the AP. A new Politico poll found that 46% of Americans—including more than a third of Trump voters—say the cost of living is the worst they’ve ever seen.

How long is this tool going blame Biden?  He has had 11 months and if he4 is such a goddamn financial genius he should have solved these problems months ago.

And why does his sycophants refuse to release economic data for all of us peons to see just where the problems are?

As The Worm Turns

Once again Little Donny is whipping up the chances of war….he has ordered the deaths of many in small boats, he has ordered a navy flotilla into the region around Venezuela and he has build up the war planes in Puerto Rico just waiting for the day when he can push the attack button.

Now a larger escalation….

US forces have seized a sanctioned oil tanker off Venezuela’s coast. The move escalates tensions with the Maduro regime and raises new questions about the future of Venezuela’s oil exports, Bloomberg reports. President Trump confirmed the seizure Wednesday afternoon. “We’ve just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela, a large tanker, very large, largest one ever seized, actually,” he told reporters at the White House, per the AP. “And other things are happening soon.” Reuters, citing American officials speaking on condition of anonymity, reports that the operation was led by the US Coast Guard. The officials did not name the tanker or say exactly where it was seized.

The incident comes as the Trump administration intensifies its pressure campaign against President Nicolas Maduro, whom US officials accuse of running a narcotrafficking operation. The Pentagon has carried out over 20 strikes on alleged drug-trafficking vessels in the region, resulting in more than 80 deaths. President Trump has repeatedly hinted at possible military action on Venezuelan soil, while Maduro has called for national unity and bolstered military deployments in response to what he describes as US aggression and a bid to control Venezuela’s vast oil reserves.

The seizure could significantly disrupt Venezuela’s oil exports, which are already hampered by international sanctions and are mostly routed to China through intermediaries at discounted rates, Bloomberg reports. The state oil company, PDVSA, manages the country’s petroleum sector and partners with foreign firms like Chevron. Chevron is allowed to operate under a US Treasury license that shields it from sanctions, with the company paying the Venezuelan government a share of oil produced through joint ventures.

Farm Aid, Donny Style

Common knowledge that our farmers have been struggling and losing the battle thanks to the ill-conceived tariffs….and now Clueless Leader has decided to do something….

President Trump announced a $12 billion bailout for US farmers on Monday, aiming to soften the blow from his own tariffs and a tough year in agriculture. The relief includes $11 billion in direct payments through the Farmer Bridge Assistance program, with another $1 billion set aside for other commodities, the Wall Street Journal reports. Soybean farmers, hit hardest by collapsing prices and the loss of China as a top customer, are expected to benefit the most. Trump announced the aid plan at a White House roundtable Monday, saying it would be funded by tariff revenue, the AP reports.

Farm bankruptcies are up 60% this year, with the cost of goods including fertilizer rising and crop prices low after a record harvest. The aid, set to roll out at the end of February, drew praise from major farm groups. The American Soybean Association lamented 2025’s combination of bad prices, high costs, and lost markets. At Monday’s event, Trump and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins pointed fingers at foreign-owned agribusinesses for driving up costs.

Soybean exports to China, which once bought nearly a quarter of all US beans, dropped to zero after Trump’s tariffs, though purchases resumed after a deal at the end of October. In 2018, during Trump’s first term, he announced $12 billion in aid to farmers during a trade dispute with China. The total compensation for lost farm business due to tariffs during his first term was around $23 billion, the Journal reports.

As in 2018, farmers say they appreciate the help but would rather make money from selling crops than government payments, the AP reports. “I think we need to be looking for some avenues to find other funding opportunities and we need to get our markets going. That’s where we want to be able to make a living from,” says Kentucky farmer Caleb Ragland, president of the American Soybean Association. Asked Monday if there would be more aid packages, Trump said it would depend on market conditions, the BBC reports. “The farmers don’t want aid,” he said. “They want to have a level playing field.”

This will be a welcome relief but will not solve the problem just delay the inevitable.

How much if this aid will go to agri-business giants?

Let’s be honest these lame tariffs are causing much of the problems…..

Democratic US Sen. Ron Wyden was among those who emphasized Monday that President Donald Trump’s erratic tariff policies have helped create the very conditions the White House is now citing to justify its new $12 billion relief plan for American farmers.

“Instead of proposing government handouts, Donald Trump should end his destructive tariff spree so American farmers can compete and win on a level playing field,” said Wyden (D-Ore.), the top Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee. “Donald Trump’s trade war is taxing families, killing markets for our farm goods, and driving farmers into bankruptcy.”

“Trump’s plan to bail out farmers won’t even get agriculture communities back to even,” the senator added. “They’re still paying more for fertilizer, equipment, and seeds, while grown-in-the-USA farm goods are facing more obstacles than ever in foreign markets. Don’t forget that all of this trade destruction and taxing was to raise money for Trump’s massive handouts to billionaires and the ultra-wealthy.”

Why The Boats?

Since September the US has been actively targeting small boats of the coast of Venezuela stated that they are ‘narco boats”…..but why now?

Here is a thought…..

We do not yet know with certainty that the US military targeted survivors of a boat strike at the Defense Secretary’s encouragement. But, we do know that the bombing in question was illegal, regardless.

Officially, Hegseth ordered that attack to combat drug trafficking. Since September, the administration has conducted more than 20 lethal strikes on boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, killing over 80 people. In each case, the White House claimed that the targeted vessels were transporting narcotics on behalf of drug cartels, although they’ve presented no evidence to support those allegations.

Of course, the US military has not traditionally claimed the authority to summarily execute criminal suspects. When the government believes that an individual is selling illegal substances, it typically arrests that person and puts them on trial.

The Trump administration insists, however, that South America’s drug cartels should be considered terrorist organizations — and that each time these groups export narcotics across our border, they effectively commit an attack on US soil. Therefore, the US has the right to “secure our homeland from the drugs that are killing our people” by waging war against Venezuela’s narcoterrorists (and/or small fishing boats that could theoretically be carrying contraband).

This reasoning is absurd on its face. Supplying cocaine to Miami dance clubs and flying planes into New York skyscrapers are categorically different offenses. To define the former as an act of war is to drain that term of all meaning. In practice, it also entails empowering the president to kill anyone he suspects of engaging in illegal commerce. No past administration has ever asserted this authority, and no domestic or international legal body has ever affirmed its legitimacy.

What’s more, the president’s position isn’t just theoretically unsound but factually baseless. In justifying its campaign, the Trump administration has constantly invoked America’s overdose epidemic. In September, Hegseth called his missile strikes a “defense of the American people,” since “100,000 Americans were killed each year under the previous administration.” President Donald Trump, meanwhile, claimed that each individual speedboat the military has incinerated would have killed “25,000 American people” (a claim that is, of course, mathematically ludicrous).

Basically this is fodder for the press to keep them looking elsewhere.

I still wonder why attack a small boat that is carrying small amounts if at all….why not track them to the ‘carrier’ ship and take out a larger haul. if you feel you must attack.

But let’s be honest: Donald Trump does not care whether illegal, dangerous drugs enter the United States. He does not care that thousands of people have died after taking these drugs.

The War Of Words Continues

MTG has got under the skin of our clueless leader and he cannot go without some sort of insulting or disgusting comment and MTG’s 60 Minutes interview has Donny pissed and firing back.

One person who caught Marjorie Taylor Greene’s interview on 60 Minutes? President Trump, who unleashed a barrage of insults against the former ally and outgoing congresswoman in a Truth Social post on Monday, reports Fox News. Greene, for her part, had a succinct response.

  • “The only reason Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!),” Trump wrote, misspelling her name. He also used the “traitor” nickname that Greene said in the interview has led to death threats against her.
  • In the interview, Greene had said she was “America First,” not MAGA, but Trump said she is neither. “She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple! Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person.” At another point, he called her a “low IQ traitor.”
  • Trump also took aim at CBS and parent Paramount for airing the interview and demanded a “complete and total APOLOGY.” He pointed to Paramount’s agreement to pay him $16 million over a Kamala Harris interview, and he accused interviewer Lesley Stahl of separately libeling him over a previous report about Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.
  • The Hill notes that Green responded to Trump’s broadside later Monday, tweeting, “I AM AMERICA FIRST,” and borrowing one of Trump’s signature lines: “Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Okay for me it is a great day to see Donny get his “depends’ in a twist.

I watched the interview and she seems to be authentic in her disgust and criticism of Donny…..now if more people will step forward and show some guts then maybe we can see the real dictator in waiting for who he truly is….although many of us already have a good idea.

This train wreck is just too interesting to look away….

Did Ukraine Poke Donny In The Eye?

After weeks of back and forth and Donny putting in his two cents worth (mostly in favor of the Russian point of view) Zelensky has crapped on Donny’s attempt to a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia….

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made clear on Monday that Ukraine will not give up any territory to Russia, firmly rejecting a central demand from Moscow that has been echoed in President Trump’s latest peace proposal. Zelensky made the statement after meeting with leaders of Britain, France, and Germany in London, the Washington Post reports. The development could signal the end of Trump’s proposal, which has been criticized as basically reflecting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s wish list.

“Under our laws, under international law—and under moral law—we have no right to give anything away,” Zelensky said. “That is what we are fighting for.” Trump’s plan reportedly includes provisions that would bar Ukraine from joining NATO and grant Russia control over portions of Ukraine it does not occupy now. Ukraine and its European allies have argued the plan is too favorable to Russia and lacks sufficient security guarantees for Ukraine. Zelensky said Ukraine is receptive to a deal, telling reporters that “explicitly anti-Ukrainian provisions” have been removed from Trump’s plan.

Trump was critical of Zelensky over the weekend for not having already agreed to his plan, and European leaders backed up Ukraine’s president on Monday. “We stand with Ukraine,” UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, per the Hill. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron also went to London. The group has been united in saying Russia should not benefit from new international boundaries imposed by force, per the Post. Putin makes the illegal case that Russia has annexed four regions of Ukraine, as well as Crimea, which it took over a decade ago. Russian forces have occupied nearly that much land during the war on Ukraine.

Okay the whole thing around MTG has got me fascinated…..she has done  a 180 from her earlier days in the House….and now she goes on national TV and spills what is possibly the truth….

Oops! They Are At It Again

Remember a few m0onths back when Thailand and Cambodia are at each other’s throat and supposedly Donny intervened and a ceasefire was established between the two….and one of the prime ministers even nominated Donny for the Peace Prize because he helped end the conflict….hold the phone!

Thailand launched airstrikes along the disputed border with Cambodia on Monday as both sides accused the other of breaking a ceasefire that halted fighting earlier this year, the AP reports. Longstanding border disputes erupted into five days of combat in July that killed dozens of soldiers and civilians. US President Trump pushed the Southeast Asian neighbors to sign a truce agreement in October, but tensions have continued to simmer. The Thai ministry of defense said that more than 35,000 people have left areas near the border for shelters and more are believed to have fled to stay with relatives elsewhere, while Cambodia’s Information Minister Neth Pheaktra said that residents of several villages near the border have been evacuated.

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said in a televised speech that military operations would be carried out as necessary to defend the country and protect public safety. “Thailand has never wished for violence. I’d like to reiterate that Thailand has never initiated a fight or an invasion, but will never tolerate a violation of its sovereignty,” he said. The ceasefire was strained in early November after Thai troops were injured by land mines, leading Thailand to announce that it would indefinitely suspend implementation of the agreement. Both sides continue to trade accusations over responsibility, even as they are supposed to be cooperating in getting rid of the mines.

Well it looks like smooth talking Donny can smooth over this old grudge and the PR ceasefire he brokered has gone by the way of a cow turd….the sh*t has hit the road….again.

A Troubling Incident

By now most of us know about that second strike on those people in the water….and now we heard from the “Horse’s’ (Ass) mouth….

The military commander responsible for ordering a missile strike on survivors of an earlier drug boat strike was defending his decision-making Thursday to lawmakers in a closed session on Thursday, and a few early developments have surfaced:

No ‘kill’ order: Admiral Frank “Mitch” Bradley told lawmakers that Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth did not issue a “kill them all” order before the mission began, reports the AP. Bradley “was very clear that he was given no such order, to give no quarter or to kill them all,” said Sen. Tom Cotton, chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, as he exited a classified briefing. The first report about the controversy suggested otherwise, saying Hegseth gave a verbal order to that effect

That was contrary to all reports about the strike and the order….who is he covering for?

I find the strike on people in the water after an attack troubling….and apparently I am not alone….

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are demanding answers after viewing video footage of the controversial Sept. 2 US military strike in the Caribbean Sea. The footage, shown during a day of congressional meetings attended by Navy Adm. Frank M. Bradley, revealed that two alleged drug smugglers were attempting to flip their capsized boat before they were killed in a second strike by the US, lawmakers who viewed it told the Washington Post. The attack, the first in a series of US strikes on alleged “drug boats,” resulted in the deaths of 11 people and has raised serious questions about the legality and ethics of the operation. (The 22nd such strike took place Thursday after a nearly three-week pause, the AP reports. Four people were killed, bringing the total death toll to at least 87.)

Democrats, who emerged from the meetings alarmed, have called the incident “highly questionable” and vowed to continue investigations. Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut described the footage as “one of the most troubling things I’ve seen in my time in public service,” noting that the survivors of the first strike were clearly in distress and posed no immediate threat when they were killed in the second strike, which was ordered by Bradley (reportedly after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said to “kill them all,” though Bradley denied that during the meetings). Lawmakers say Bradley told them the two survivors did not appear to have any communications devices that would have allowed them to call for backup, CNN reports.

Republicans, on the other hand, have largely defended the operation. Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas argued that the strikes were “entirely lawful and needful,” and said he would have made the same decision. Legal experts and some military personnel have questioned whether the survivors, left clinging to the wreckage, could be considered legitimate targets under US and international law, which requires protection for incapacitated individuals. The Pentagon has so far declined to release the video publicly, but pressure is mounting for greater transparency and accountability.

Lawmakers who saw a video of a U.S. attack on wounded and helpless people clinging to the wreckage of a supposed drug boat on September 2 described the footage as deeply disturbing.

A small number of members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate and House Armed Services committees, as well as some staff directors, saw the recording during closed-door briefings Thursday with Adm. Frank M. Bradley, the head of Special Operations Command, and Gen. Dan Caine, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

“What I saw in that room is one of the most troubling scenes I’ve ever seen in my time in public service,” said Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee. “You have two individuals in clear distress without any means of locomotion with a destroyed vessel who were killed by the United States.

Until Thursday, the only video of the attack that had been seen by lawmakers was an edited clip posted to the Truth Social account of President Donald Trump on September 2 announcing the strike. The edited clip captures the initial strike, showing a four-engine speedboat erupt in an explosion. It does not show the second strike on the wreckage of the vessel and the survivors — which was first reported by The Intercept.

Himes said the unedited video clearly shows the U.S. striking helpless people.

Today is the date when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor…..it has been many years but I think we should all take a moment and remember and thank those the faced struggles and did what was needed for this country.

Donald Trump on Tuesday called Somali immigrants “garbage” and said they should be sent back home in a rant that came as the administration is reportedly increasing immigration enforcement against undocumented Somalis in Minnesota.

In a xenophobic rant during a cabinet meeting, Trump went off on Somalis and Ilhan Omar, the congressional representative who is from Somalia and is a US citizen. He said Somalia “stinks” and is “no good for a reason”.

“They contribute nothing. I don’t want them in our country, I’ll be honest with you,” he said. He called Omar “garbage” and said “we’re going to go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country”.

“These are people who do nothing but complain,” he said. “They complain, and from where they came from, they got nothing … When they come from hell and they complain and do nothing but bitch, we don’t want them in our country. Let them go back to where they came from and fix it.”

In fact, he seemed to wage a lengthy and often-losing battle with a midday nap. Even as his Cabinet was assembled to engage in one of his favorite activities – singing the praises of Trump – he repeatedly appeared to doze off.

In his building frenzy Donny has put the DC airport in his sights…..

President Trump said Tuesday that his administration will embark on a reconstruction of Dulles International Airport in northern Virginia. “We’re also going to rebuild Dulles airport because it’s not a good airport,” Trump said during a meeting of his cabinet members at the White House. “It should be a great airport, and it’s not a good airport at all. It’s a terrible airport.” Dulles is one of the three Washington-area airports and its quality and utility is a hotly-debated topic among Washingtonians, the AP reports.

Trump, a former real estate mogul, said the Dulles building is good but that it was “incorrectly designed.” He nonetheless praised Eero Saarinen, the Finnish-American architect who designed the main terminal at Dulles. “We’re going to turn that around and we’re going to make Dulles airport— serving Washington and Virginia, Maryland, etc.—we’re gonna make that into something really spectacular. We have an amazing plan for it.”

More taxpayer money spent on a Donny vanity craze….and I am sure he wants to see his name on it when he is finished.  Whatcha ya think?

Meanwhile, a Yahoo-YouGov poll shows 49% of respondents believe Trump has done more to increase prices than he has to lower them, per the Hill. While Trump has tried to claim credit for reducing inflation, he’s largely ignored upticks in recent months, per the Times. “There’s always more to do, but we have it down to a very good level,” he said Tuesday.

FIFA has jumped on the Donny love-in and it is disgusting….but he and his buds have new ideas for America’s past time….football.

We are entering into the college football championship games and Little Marco has an idea (not something that is a regular occurrence)….

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a University of Florida alumnus and former Florida senator, joked today at the White House that President Donald Trump may need to “take over” the College Football Playoff if 10-2 Miami isn’t named to the 12-team field.

“I do want to say that this is the most wonderful time of the year, by that I’m referring to the College Football Playoffs,” Rubio said at the White House on Tuesday, drawing a smile out of Trump.

“I’m a Florida Gator, but if the University of Miami gets s—— out of the College Football Playoffs after going 10-2 and beating Notre Dame, the whole thing should be scrapped, and you’re gonna have to take over it,” he said.

Donny and the NFL….

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, appeared at the draw for the 2026 World Cup on Friday, Dec. 5.

Trump gave several remarks, notably suggesting the NFL should find another word for that sport, as he considers “football” more suitable for soccer.

“This is football… we have to come up with another name for the NFL stuff,” the president said ironically.

The debate between soccer and football has always existed, as in countries like England, it is unthinkable to call the sport what it is called in the U.S.
