Let’s Hear From The Egg-spert.

There are days when Donny just proves what a complete idiot he really has become…..and his latest statement on the cost of eggs proves yet again.

If you follow the news you know that eggs prices are headed even higher and yet that idiot ‘stable genius’ tells us they are too low….along with gas prices.

President Donald Trump, during a press conference today, seemed to get exasperated at a reporter asking him about egg prices, going on a bizarre rant that ended with him stating that ‘egg prices are getting too low.’

“You can have all the eggs you want. We have too many eggs. In fact, if anything, the prices are getting too low. So, I just want to let you know, prices are down,” Trump told the room of reporters.

This comes a day after Trump went on another egg rant at a press conference, denouncing Fed Chair Jerome Powell, where he complained about being tasked with lowering the price of eggs right after election. “The price of eggs, you know, when I came in, they hit me with eggs. I just got there,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

“I was here for one week and they started screaming eggs have gone through the roof. I said, I just got here. I was there for seven days and I hear that eggs have gone through the roof before I got there. And they were screaming at me, the press, the fake news like you, you’re fake, and the fake news is screaming at me about eggs. I said, I’ve only been here, I just, this is my 7th day,” Trump went on.

The pressure on Trump on eggs and grocery prices also comes from some of Trump’s campaign stunts where he promised to ‘immediately’ fix egg and grocery prices. Trump held an August 2024 rally surrounded by groceries and proudly proclaimed, “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One.”

Trump subsequently wrote on Truth Social: “EGGS & GAS PRICES – OUT OF CONTROL!!! Crooked Joe and the radical left DESTROYED affordability for hardworking Americans. It’s a TOTAL SCAM! On DAY ONE, I’ll SLASH prices—so fast it’ll make their heads spin. Big Oil? Big Farms? They’ll listen to ME, not lobbyists. NO MORE RIPOFFS!!! MAGA!!!”

U.S. egg prices rose again last month to set a new record-high of $6.23 per dozen – despite Donald Trump’s prediction that they were set to fall.

True gas has come down about 10 cents where I live but egg prices are still too flippin’ high….a dozen large eggs for around $5.00.

After the firing of 3 of his most knowledgeable advisers the whole thing is going to crap.

The Pentagon is reeling as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth faces growing instability within his ranks following the sudden departure of his chief of staff – the fourth staffer exit amid the fallout of the disastrous Signal chat leak.

t the center of the ongoing controversy is a Signal group chat – a secure messaging app known for its privacy protections – created by National Security Adviser Michael Waltz to coordinate US military responses to Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.

However, the group inadvertently included editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg, raising immediate concerns over the exposure of sensitive and potentially classified information.

Hegseth and others shared detailed operational plans within the chat, including timelines and specifics about US military assets.

A good administrator would learn from his blunders but apparently Hegseth is not the sharpest pencil in the box…..

They are calling all this chaos ‘signalgate’……

Signalgate is expanding: Four people tell the New York Times that, in addition to the infamous Signal chat that inadvertently included a journalist, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also used the messaging app to send sensitive military information to his wife, brother, and personal lawyer. The sources say that on March 15, Hegseth shared essentially the same details of upcoming strikes on Yemen in the two separate Signal chats: one titled “Houthi PC small group” (created by national security adviser Mike Waltz) to which Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg was accidentally added, and another titled “Defense | Team Huddle” (created by Hegseth himself) that included the aforementioned trio along with others from his inner circle.

The sources say Hegseth created the “Team Huddle” group chat prior to his Senate confirmation, and that after he was installed at the Pentagon, several advisers encouraged him to move the chat to government channels, but he did not. Per the Times, the chat generally included “routine administrative or scheduling information,” and it’s not clear why the information about the Yemen strikes was shared there, but Hegseth’s inclusion of his wife and brother in his job has previously raised eyebrows.

Also included in the “Team Huddle” group chat were two of Hegseth’s senior advisers who were recently fired following accusations of leaking sensitive information to the media, accusations they denied in a public statement. The White House has decried the Times article as a “non-story,” insisting “no classified information was shared” and blaming the fired advisers for leaking the story to the newspaper, the AP reports. The chaos at the Pentagon has some speculating that Hegseth could be ousted soon, Axios reports.

Vance Goes To Rome

Pope Francis, the first Latin American leader of the Roman Catholic Church, has died, the Vatican said in a video statement on Monday, ending an often turbulent reign marked by division and tension as he sought to overhaul the hidebound institution.
He was 88, and had survived a serious bout of double pneumonia.
And the world will mourn and await the announcement of the new pope.
But this post is about the meeting of VP Vance and the Pope on Easter….
Vice President JD Vance met briefly with Pope Francis on Sunday to exchange Easter greetings, after they got into a long-distance tangle over the Trump administration’s migrant deportation plans. The Vatican said they met for a few minutes at the papal residence in Vatican City “to exchange Easter greetings,” per the AP. Vance’s office said that they met, but provided no further details. In all, Vance’s motorcade was on Vatican territory for 17 minutes. Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, and the pope have tangled sharply over migration and the Trump administration’s plans to deport migrants en masse. Francis has made caring for migrants a hallmark of his papacy.
After wards there was a difference of opinion on the exact results of this meeting….
Vice President JD Vance met with the Catholic Church’s top diplomats at the Vatican on Saturday, in the shadow of Pope Francis’ criticism of the Trump administration’s deportation policy and Vance’s theological defense of it. The tension was reflected in the official statements released after Vance met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s secretary of state, and Archbishop Paul Gallagher, the foreign minister, Politico reports. The Vatican reported that an “exchange of opinions” took place on international issues, “especially regarding countries affected by war, political tensions and difficult humanitarian situations, with particular attention to migrants, refugees, and prisoners.”
White House recounted the agenda differently, saying that Vance and Parolin “discussed their shared religious faith, Catholicism in the United States, the plight of persecuted Christian communities around the world, and President Trump’s commitment to restoring world peace.” The pope has expressed disapproval of the Trump administration’s moves against immigrants while maintaining relations in keeping with the church’s tradition of diplomatic neutrality, per the AP. Before the meeting Saturday, Parolin told an Italian newspaper that the “current US administration is very different from what we are used to and, especially in the West, from what we have relied on for many years.”
For me I will take the pope’s word on the meeting for Vance has been shown to be lying POS.
I am waiting to see if there is some conspiracy that springs up around this meeting….after all moments after meeting with Vance the pope dies…..surely there is a conspiracy theory in there some where.
