For 8 years there have been some that keep calling Obama a ‘socialist’….first of all these people would not know a socialist from a libertarian….these are the knuckle draggers that hear something they like and will repeat it ad nauseum…..second if one has the mental capability to look at Obama’s economics then they will see that he is more a free trader than Trump will ever be……

True….like overtime pay, 8 hr work day, child labor laws, so many more…these were first championed by those dreaded socialists before the 2 parties came around….
…and Medicare, and public schools and all the public services that one could never afford if private enterprise and fee driven. Absolute socialism is when da gobberment owns utilities and means of economic production while still maintaining a large degree of democracy. But once an oligarchy gains control we move to communism or dictatorship. Unregulated free enterprise becomes just that. Labor unions are the only friend working people have and the wealth of enterprises ought to be returned in part to the workers to elevate their financial status. You can’t have a consumer economy without consumers who can never afford big ticket items with Macwages. I’d also limit imports with a “if you sell it here you have to make it here” policy. This would still allow foreign investment and profit for those investors and create an upward spiral of employment and economic growth. A president should be the president of the USA not a lackey of the global economy. .
WE could afford anything with revenues….but that is the “key” word for small government….but you can have that and still have revenues also….I have No problem with education or SS or Medicare…..I do have a problem with endless wars that cost billions with no return to the country…the only ones making out is the M-IC…..I will agree with some of the trade policies but we have NO politicians that are willing to step up on the trade policies…..lip service is best they can do…. and then only at election time…..
Ah, the wars. Agreed. We have terrorism right here as gangs rule the night in far too many cities and yet we are all over the world. The problems in Mexico should be the second priority.
Mexico’s problems are fairly easy to solve….cartels can be eliminated but money would cease to wasteful programs…..so it is more important that the cash flows….but the “gangs” are tolerated again let the cash flow….
Of course, Americas biggest socialist program is the US military. They collect a truly scandalous amount of money and distribute it to poor nations all over the world…in the form of bombs. (built by MISC Industries)
And speaking of the private sector… don’t forget the All-American NFL! They distribute virtually all their income among the franchises. They don’t do that in Sweden!

Thank God the “Mentally Challenged” have the power of the vote because if they get off their rear ends and use it and if it gets past the big government filters designed to annul it (SCOTUS, Electoral College) not only can they bring the current nightmare administration to a well-deserved end but they can also avoid seeing it repeated as the planned coronation of our first two-headed presidency goes forth …. as planned. Obama may not be able to get a third term but if the coronation is consumated then we will have at least a “Cloned” third Obama-style term and nobody needs that!
I hope they do also…..then maybe the country will learn to work together to solve problems and stop all this stupid back and forth.

Hillary Clinton is the “CSI Boise” of American politics. She’s the spin-off of 2 mediocre copycats (Clinton, Obama) that were really only notable for the corporate profits they generated. She’s a formulaic show that is tired & played out, but still there every time you turn on the TV. She has nothing new to offer viewers beyond “the exact same shit you’ve seen a thousand times”. In fact, she’s a mediocre copy of her 2008 version that lost to the guy she’s now promising to copy. A copy of a copy of a copy of a spin-off of a tired format. (Er, I think I lost count.)
And that’s her strongest selling point!
But Americans who have been dumbed down will buy it because it is convenient and promises the highest degree of immediate gratifications.

Obama is at best a Socialist. More likely a traitor.
He has put in place more government subsidies for people who are not really poor, but need to work harder to get what they want. Obama phones, free internet, more public housing, more people on food stamps. Hillary will be worse. A couple years of college free even though it no longer means much when a couple years in a trade apprenticeship would give people very well paying jobs.
Ideas? Encourage industry to train young people or the jobs they need so we don’t have to import them. Get rid of the immigrants and make the people on government need based subsidies work the jobs that industry claims Americans won’t take. Reduce the influence of the unelected bureaucracy in the federal government that makes the function of industry and small business difficult with all the regulations.
