It is common knowledge that my international interests fall in the Middle East….after working in the region years ago I became very interested in the events that transpire with different country’s foreign policy concerning the region.
It is an election, the 2016 election, and with all that is happening in the world the Middle East is more important than many want to admit.
This is a speech that Bernie did not give to AIPAC but he wanted to outline his position as a counter to the pandering BS that all the other candidates will do…..I do not much care for his Middle East policies but they appear to be more honest than the ones offered up by Clinton, Trump and Cruz. Their speeches were total pandering….they spread the crap like a child would spread peanut butter.

I was surprised that Bernie was critical of Israeli policies…..but would he be so if he is elected to the high office of president?
I hoping that it is not pandering but he is a politician and that is what they do to get votes from the bedazzled throngs.
Not to worry. He is probably pretty much done already in his aspirations to the Oval Office.
Maybe not…..he could be a spoiler like Cruz is trying to be…..I can hope….LOL
I view Bernie Sanders as more of a statesman or public servant. I think his Israel/Palestine diplomacy, friendship, two state policies are genuine. Bernie appears to operate by the same principles and values he has held for decades. He is a bit different than run-of-the-mill politicians.
I agree…he is genuine something that is sadly lacking in most of our politicians. chuq
