Let me tell you there is NOTHING glamours about war……but that does not stop the hawks for trying to turn it into some kind of romantic glorious situation…….NOTHING is further from the truth.
Some see it as some sort of righteous endeavor…..I cannot agree……there is nothing righteous about killing for the sake of killing…….sadly the only ones with scars of war are the ones sent to play the game……those that perpetrate war seldom suffer from the scars…..and seldom learn any lesson from the experience.
The American public seems to have the perverse fascination with war that to me borders on the sociopathic…….but why is thsi?

Why?
Because Americans are taught from the cradle to admire those who kill; most people in this country are taught to be “proud to be American”, an event for which they bear no responsibility, and to be proud of their country, because, “it’s my country, right or wrong”, which means there is no conception of being wrong…
That sort of brainwashing is difficult to overcome, especially when handicapped by starting out with a smallish number of IQ points, as are the greater portion of Americans (it’s a mathematical certainty… do the math, folks. The average IQ is 100; AT LEAST half of Americans are NOT that smart….) (Hell, a good portion of the so called smart ones don’t use their own brains often enough to be of any use….to themselves, or anyone else….) But, they also take pride in their ignorance. so it’s quite comfortable for them to spend their lives completely avoiding the process of using neurons for something other than sitting on….or carrying around their bladder from toilet to toilet….

Yah, well, they’re on their own… like excellence, stupidity is its own reward. Besides, 1) They don’t WANT to learn anything, even if it might be good for them, and 2) They always get pissed when I try… not that it bothers me, but, it never works out well for them… so, I try not to “disturb the animals”, as it were… unless they’re kids… I teach them when possible, to cut down on the number of assholes to deal with later….
Life is tough when we’re surrounded, ain’t it?….

I do so enjoy telling them they are stupid and most know not what I say……gives me a chuckle………chuq
