Oh yeah…..the kid in the Boston bombing is found guilty…..now there is a stretch I did not see coming!

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been found guilty in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing on death-penalty-eligible counts, including using a weapon of mass destruction, the AP reports. This means that the 21-year-old will face the penalty phase of his trial. A US District Court jury in Boston had to look at 30 total federal charges against the 21-year-old, 17 of them the possibility of the death penalty, per NBC News; they returned the verdict after about 11 hours of deliberation. The jury had to come to a unanimous conclusion to reach a guilty verdict in this first phase, NBC notes. What will likely hold even more weight during the penalty phase is how much the jury feels Dzhokhar had to do with planning the attack and how much it believes was the plot of older brother Tamerlan.

Surprise!  And he will get the death penalty!  Another big surprise!

Okay I am being sarcastic!  Anybody that did not see any of this coming is either a moron or in a coma……

Revenge has been exacted……..closure has been achieved.

Palestinians In The News Again

This time it is not Israel trying to bomb them out of existence…..nope….this time it is those savages of ISIS that brings Palestinians to the news……

ISIS in its battle for Syria has attacked a Palestinian refugee camp outside of Damascus…..the Yarmouk Camp.  The battle for the camp is just as confusing as any other battle we are having with ISIS……

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) said on Tuesday that Islamic State (IS) militants have retreated from parts of Yarmouk, the largest camp for Palestinian refugees in Syria.

“IS now controls only 60 percent of Yarmouk camp after they had seized 90 percent of it,” Anwar Abdel-Hadi, who oversees the PLO’s affairs in Syria, told Palestine’s official radio station on Tuesday.

Abdel-Hadi said that clashes are still ongoing between IS militants and Palestinian fighters inside Yarmouk camp.

“[IS] militants are firing at anyone who tries to enter or exit the camp,” he said.

Thousands of Palestinians live in Yarmouk, the descendants of Palestinians who fled Israel upon the establishment of the state in 1948.

They are now caught between a rock and a hard place: on the one hand Bashar Assad’s air force is launching barrel bombs in the area in an attempt to eliminate his opponents, and on the other side is fierce fighting between rebel groups – the brutal Islamic State and the Al-Nusra Front, al-Qaeda’s arm in the country. The PLO reported Sunday that 2,000 people have been evacuated from Yarmouk – but thousands of others refuse to leave

This situation could be a good thing…..not that killing of innocents is a good thing……but rather a chance to reach out to Hamas and other Palestinian organizations…….we need people we can turn to to fight ISIS and the massacre of civilians in a refugee camp could be a opening that could lead to much broader situations in the Middle East……..the support for Palestiians now could very well be a turning point for the conflict with ISIS and an in-road to some sort of peace negotiations that could very well be successful……

The Syrian Palestinians need help……we need reliable help fighting ISIS……sounds like the perfect time to talk……

The war against ISIS seems to be going in the right direction…….there have been successes by the Coalition and also by ISIS to a smaller degree……but let’s say that we continue to make headway in the battle against this extremism…..could there be a possibility of a truce with ISIS?

I say NO…..but I have heard some suggest that there should be a consideration of a truce to stop the carnage…….not too damn likely….but a helluva idea to float in these days of little reliable info coming out of the Middle East……

Clinton: How Much Is Foreign Policy Worth?

If you follow politics or even a little news you are well aware that Hillary Clinton will be running for the Dem nomination for the 2016 presidential election……..and if she does and she will run for the nomination there will be a wealth of “scandals” for the Right wing to pick up on and use possibly effectively against her…..all those from the time when Bill was in the White House and she will have her own personal skeletons to deal with…..Benghazi is ever present and then there is the e-mail stuff and now it is the Clinton Global Initiative……

It is NO secret that I will probably not be a Hillary supporter……has nothing to do with her gender……it has everything to do with the policies of her hubby when he was president……..I do not think she will stray too far from those same policies in her run for prez……the Democratic Party lost its way when the DLC and Clinton decide to go to bed with big business and look what that did for the country……..

But my main concern will be her foreign policies…..I think that it is for sale to the highest bidder and it appears that the highest bidders were from the Middle East…….

The existence of foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation has been well-documented in the media. What hasn’t been revealed, however, is the disparity in donations by these four nations, all of which have been criticized by the State Department over the years for a spate of issues ranging from the mistreatment of women to stoking ethnic discord in the flammable Middle East.

Moreover, the level of Arab support for the Clinton Foundation, which occurred during the time Hillary Clinton was a U.S. senator, was seeking the Democratic nomination for president against Barack Obama, and was serving as secretary of state, fuels questions about the reasons for the donations. Were they solely to support the foundation’s causes, or were they designed to curry favor with the ex-president and with a potential future president?

This influence could be used for good…..but I bet it will not……all it will do is make these 4 nations in a favorable situation…….
