Breaking News:  Elvis is still DEAD!

I have been watching politics closely for a decade now and I see a disturbing pattern beginning to form……an ideology that could be called dangerous……

First, is the identification of “enemies”……rallying the people to patriotic causes, at least issue that are perceived as patriotic, by identifying threats whether ethnic, ideological, mainly liberals…..

second, supremacy of the military, where spending is forced on the military to the  ignoring of domestic problems…..

Third, rampant sexism……try to strengthen traditional gender roles……abortion and homosexuality were violently suppressed….

Fourth, a controlled mass media…..not so much by the government but rather by the corporate state……to the point that gossip and glitz are more important than actual issues…..

Fifth, an obsession with national security……where fear is used a tool to use over the people…..

Sixth, corporate power is protected……the government goes about making it easier for corporations to do business with little oversight……..

Seventh, Labor is suppressed…..where governments are  inserted into the labor management game by making corporations make the rules of labor……

Eighth, a growing disdain for intellectuals…..making academics a dirty word and education less important than say religious upbringing…..

Ninth, a growing obsession with crime and punishment…….

Tenth and finally….growing attempts to make elections more one sided by doing all possible to suppress the vote……..

I could add another one here but I will forgo the institutionalization of religion in government….this one is just my opinion…..a feeling that I have of a coming battle……and then there is the question of corruption……without governmental accountability then corruption will grow….it already has a few seedlings so it will not be long before it blossoms….

This is a pattern that I have seen before….none of us would want to talk about it but it is approaching……..and if it arrives none of us will be better off…..we must be on guard and not let our way of life disappear…..and that my friends is why I am HERE!
