It is my ALL Palin Day!
Sarah Palin has been making the news a lot…..she is a master at making everything about her and nothing about real issues….there has been speculation that she may throw her wig into the fray for the GOP nomination….there are many in Washington that are afraid of Palin…not the person but the persona and what her loyal following would do if they were to speak out on her shortcomings…..most think that it would be disastrous in 2012….and we know how they are drooling at the possibility that they could win the White house…..and so, they remain silent on Palin…..
But finally there is a conserv that has nothing to lose by speaking up and out….that conserv is Joe Scarborough of MSNBC’s Morning Joe…..and boy has he spoke out! Read his opinion piece in the Politico…..
I give Joe two thumbs up for being a concerned conserv and that he is willing to speak out, something his counterparts in Congress are too yellow to do…..Kudos!
Yes. A good post. However, as an outsider who doesn’t a real insider’s “feel” for the mood of the country, I still think the REAL danger is that Sarah Palin could just be the next President of the United States of America.
Joe Scarborough is, of course right, but how likely is it that the GOP will listen?
Lets face it, the country elected George W and Palin looks, in my opinion, like a carbon copy of GW, but with tits and a MUCH better ass. She would undoubtedly get a proportion of the male vote on the basis of her ass alone and a whole bunch of the rightwingnuts were devastated that GW could not continue in office for ever. Added to that, she would provide a very good excuse for a large proportion of the right wing female voters to support a woman in the White House… so that, to me, adds up to a good shot at it – at THIS moment in time – who knows in six months to a year?
Considering the mental make-up of the electorate…….it is a good possibility……but she would need to actually learn something of politics……..right now she is too busy self-promoting to really have any idea of what she will do beyond her next 5 figure paycheck….
I’m not so sure about that. Firstly, how is that different from the others? And secondly, the rest of them (those who are not stark raving mad at least) are so busy screwing each other whilst playing politics that she could run straight through the middle before they even realise what has truly hit them!
I understand and yes, she could catch the others with their dicks in their hands…..but then these sanctimonious a/holes will have to start questioning her on issues and there she will fall flat on her face……
But will most of them dare to question her until it’s waaaaaay too late?
There may be one or two possible candidates that would have the nuts…Huckabee or Paul……they have NO chance of winning so they maybe the attack dogs….
See? It’s all about playing politics and tactics – nothing whatsoever to do with the country or the people and it NEVER wil be unless they change the system radically!
We can only dream of a better way….some of us, thank you for that, see a better way and write and talk and discuss……but we are, unfortunately in a huge minority….

Yes, I agree. The again, the sophisticated and politically astute mob have totally f*cked everything, so could the folksy stuff really do that much worse – as long as someone stops her from nuking the planet by mistake…?
Better question is….will she resign after a couple of years?…I mean that is her track record…..
I presume that would depend on the what she sees as the best offer at the time… she may be politically naive and her thinking may be limited to somewhere around high school level, but stupid she most certainly is NOT!
So true…..I have given her her props……she saw the chance to make millions and possibly be in the spotlight a lot longer and she took it…..it is all about her and her greed…..
