Time has given the honor to Bernanke….let me see he saved the economy from a collapse that he caused….and that gives him the distinction of being a person of the year….I think he should have been awarded the A/hole of the year…..
This is the second year that Info ink has awarded this thing…last year we gave it to the Credit Card….because it symbolized the crisis that we were facing in our economy….
This year after lots and lots of deliberation we narrowed it down to ……(drum roll please)…..Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT)……….
Now I am sure you would like to know why he deserves this distinction…..alrighty then……
Lieberman has survived many tribulations in the last year…..he overcame giving a key note speech at the GOP convention…..he overcame the Dem attempts to strip him of all his Senate assignments….he has forced the Dem majority to negotiate with itself….he has single handedly given the minority more power to influence legislation…..and he may well have been the sole person to kill any health reform, for he helped stop single payer, public option, medicare buy-in and on and on…..He became a filibuster of ONE…..an accomplishment without precedents…….
All Hail the Person Of The Year….Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT)…..Joe the Bummer!

Secondly, I’m so sorry for being so out of touch. My business has been doing well since about September, and holiday orders forced me to work no less than 95 hours/week (literally) in the last couple months (didn’t have a day off at all for about 2 months). I know I’ll continue to be busy even after New Years, but I promise I’ll stop in from time to time! I miss reading your blog! (I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up with my own blog much, though…)
