Getting Their ‘Freak’ On

The big story yesterday was the Feds busting a prostitution ring operating in the DC area….

“Pick a profession, they’re probably represented in this case.” Those were the words of a federal prosecutor in reference to what CNN describes as the “sprawling client list” of a network of high-end brothels operated in the Washington, DC, area as well as in Massachusetts. Those clients included, per the Justice Department, “politicians, high tech and pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors that possess security clearances, professors, lawyers, scientists and accountants.” The DOJ has charged three people with running the network, two of them in Massachusetts and one in California, Politico reports. As for the clients, they’re being investigated.

The three defendants, Han Lee, Junmyung Lee, and James Lee, allegedly rented expensive apartments and advertised rates ranging from $350 to $600 per hour for sexual services to pre-approved clients. They allegedly mostly advertised on websites promoting sex with Asian women; Fox News, which has a screenshot of the alleged “menu” of services one client provided to the feds, reports the websites included photos and measurements. Women’s flights and transportation were allegedly paid for. The feds say they’re interviewing alleged customers and looking at cellphone location data, surveillance video, and financial records amid the investigation, and that there are “potentially hundreds of yet to be identified customers.”

The weekend begins and I found a great story to lead off my posts.

Apparently there is one Ohio politician that is concerned about sex and ice fishing.

It’s highly doubtful that an ice fisherman shivering in a shanty on a frozen lake would think to bring a sex worker along for company, but for one Ohio official, it’s a distinct possibility that needs to be considered. Per Cleveland.com, Mayor Craig Shubert aired his concerns Tuesday at a Hudson City Council meeting, where the topic of whether to allow ice fishing on Hudson Springs Lake—a recent request by “a number of residents,” according to Council President Chris Foster—came up. Multiple officials at the meeting pushed back on that request, expressing concern over people potentially falling through the ice, burdening local first responders and adding liability risk for the city.

Foster also noted there’d been fatalities in the past on the lake, per the Washington Post. Shubert then jumped in with his own worry: “If you then allow ice fishing with shanties, then that leads to another problem: prostitution. And now you’ve got the police chief and the police department involved. Just data points to consider.” Foster, seated next to the Republican mayor of two-plus years, can be seen in a video of the meeting reacting with surprise at Shubert’s remarks.

After a few seconds of confused silence, another councilman, Chris Banweg jokes, “That’s why I’m not in favor of shanties.” The Post notes that the clip of Shubert’s comments soon went viral, earning more than 739,000 views by Thursday afternoon. The day after the meeting, FOX 8 managed to get a statement out of the mayor on what exactly he’d meant, in which he noted his comment “stems from my experience as a former television news reporter covering law enforcement agencies, which have made arrests for acts of prostitution in ice fishing shanties.”

Apparently this tool does not understand what extreme cold does the male anatomy.

For me I would rather have sex than fish….but that is just me.

A Price Of War

While I was doing some research for a post on my opinion blog, Gulf South Free Press, I came across an article that shows the cost of conflict and the price of survival for some refugees……

Walk among the plastic tents in one corner of this sprawling, dust-swept desert camp packed with Syrian refugees, and a young woman in a white headscarf signals.

“Come in, you’ll have a good time,” suggests Nada, 19, who escaped from the southern border town of Daraa into Jordan several months ago. Her father, sporting a salt-and-pepper beard and a traditional red-checkered headscarf, sits outside under the scorching sun, watching silently.

Nada prices her body at $7, negotiable. Her daily income averages $70 a day.

Several tents away, a clean-shaven, tattooed young Syrian man, who says he was a barber back in the city of Idlib, offers his wife. “You can have her all day for $70,” he promises. He says he never imagined he would be selling his own wife, but he needs to send money back to his parents and in-laws in Syria, about $200 a month.

I am not sure that this story is accurate….I find the the “Times” has been known to print some propaganda from time to time…..

My question is what happens to these women when the conflict ends and they try to go home…..will this attempt at survival be used against them?

Please forgive the thought here….but these women are f*cked both physically and literally……this is so sad.

Just something to think about on this day waiting for the next storm to hit land.

A “Hooker” Kind Of Love

As long as we are talking about paying for sex……..

Sex has been a part of politics since the beginning….after all they say it is the first profession.

It has played a role in history even in the morally superior US of A…..most recently with Sen. Vitter to NY governor Spitzer to even our present president with the accusations from a “Stormy” kind of love.

So I guess my history lesson for today is a list of important men through history that have had a burning love for prostitutes…….

Most men have a weakness, whether it’s gambling, booze, lying, infidelity, or what have you. We’ve found that the more serious the flaw, the more it’s grounded in compulsion. Throughout history, men of the highest stature, intellect, and position have found themselves unable to resist the allure of women of the night. Whether it be the result of the time, or carnal needs of the man, these figures could not live without paid female companionship…

A side note….the once powerful evangelicals have lost their claim to the moral high ground with the support and acceptance of politicians accused and/or convicted sexual deviates…..

To Be Young (Again)

Remember what you were doing when you were 17?  I was thinking about asking that special gal out for the first time….and that was making me extremely nervous…..I was working making about 75 cents an hour and trying to get through school…….but there was something about her that made me think of her all the time…..

It is scary these days especially when I read this piece…..

A 17-year-old girl was charged with organizing a prostitution ring at two Florida high schools. Police say she pimped out a 15-year-old girl to a client for $40 and a bottle of liquor so a 21-year-old could have sex with the underage student.

Sarasota High School student Alexa Nicole De Armas was arrested Friday and charged with human trafficking of a person younger than 18, a felony. John Michael Mosher, 21, was also arrested, and charged with sexual battery on a minor, WWSB reported. Police told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune that one more person would be arrested Tuesday.

Just scary what life has become in the ba-zillion years since I was 17……my biggest problem was trying to think of a way to get her into the back seat…….never considered in going into business for myself….

Does War Justify Everything?

Keeping with the lower levels of my mind there is always something sexual to write about…….many things are done during war and afterwards that cannot be condoned….many atrocities are done in the name of nationalism and some such abstract concept…….During WW2 the Japanese invade and occupied most of Asia…China, Malaysia, Korea most of the region was under their control…and let us say they were not the nicest of occupiers…..but the one thing that stands out of their many atrocities was the taking of local women from whatever country they occupied and pimping them out for the amusement of the soldiers………the world condemned them for this practice….but now were have a different slant on the issue….

(Newser) – Controversial Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto has defended Japan’s World War II policy of forcing women to have sex with troops as a necessity of war, the BBC reports. “In the circumstances in which bullets are flying like rain and wind, the soldiers are running around at the risk of losing their lives,” said Hashimoto, who is also the leader of the Japan Restoration Party. “If you want them to have a rest in such a situation, a comfort women system is necessary. Anyone can understand that.”

Around 200,000 women in Japanese occupied territories—including China, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan— are believed to have been forced into acting as “comfort women” during the conflict. Hashimoto did at least acknowledge they had acted “against their will.” He says people should “politely offer kind words to (former) comfort women,” the Asahi Shimbun reports.

Sorry dude…you are cannot justify this atrocity…….you cannot put a positive coat of whitewash on it……I guess next they will try to justify the massacre in Nan King as cleaning up the city……

Getting Into The Christmas Spirit

It is Christmas Eve and I would like to report on usual ways to get into the spirit of the holiday…..to some its family, others it is about the partying and others it is the shopping that puts them into the spirit….but I have found one that takes the cake…..

Competition has spiked among retailers this holiday season, and the sex industry is no exception. A Texas escort is trying to beat the competition by offering discounts to charitable customers who are willing to help needy children.

The escort, a 37-year-old from Houston who goes by “Shelby,” recently began marketing herself online as “Santa’s Little Helper.”

Shelby is competing for the attention of holiday Johns by advertising a pre-Christmas “Toys for Tots Special” to convince consumers to open their wallets for a “sensual” experience.

A review of her services by a John named “Wolfhunter” states that she charged him $200 an hour for a “pathway to utter euphoria and bliss.” With the “Toys for Tots Special,” this man would be entitled to double the bang for his buck.

Shelby also promised to “captivate your mind, and tantalize your senses,” and dared customers to “Try and Put My Fire Out!”

Shelby’s idea is not as innovative as it might seem. In fact, a similar ad was posted to an escort Website in December 2007. The ad ran under the headline “Santa’s Little Helper,” and stated, “This month, I am donating one unwrapped toy to Chicagoland Toys for Tots for every client I see.” The poster used the name Cadence. The profile has since been deleted, so it is unclear whether Shelby took a clue from the Chicago ad or whether she is somehow connected to Cadence.

Now the kids win, the “john” wins and the escort wins….what could be a better Christmas story that that?  Pop a smile on Santa’s face!

How Do I Pay For That Tuition?

My last day of mental relaxation…..and as usual there is something that I need to get off my chest before I return to the world of brainless political news…..

College tuition are going up at an outlandish rate….soon NO one in the middle class will be able to afford college and be destined to live a mediocre life…..but wait!  If you are a female there could be an answer to your college tuition dilemma……

A website called SeekingArrangement.com popped up. Intrigued by the promise of what the site billed as a “college tuition sugar daddy,” Taylor created a “sugar baby” profile and eventually connected with the man from Greenwich. (“Taylor” is the pseudonym she uses with men she meets online. Neither she nor any of the other women interviewed for this article permitted their real names be used.)In her profile on the site, Taylor describes herself as “a full-time college student studying psychology and looking to meet someone to help pay the bills.” Photos on the site show her in revealing outfits, a mane of caramel-colored hair framing her face. But unlike other dating sites, where a user might also list preferred hobbies or desired traits, Taylor instead indicates preferences for a “sugar daddy” and an “arrangement” in the range of $1,000 to $3,000 a month.

Saddled with piles of student debt and a job-scarce, lackluster economy, current college students and recent graduates are selling themselves to pursue a diploma or pay down their loans. An increasing number, according to the the owners of websites that broker such hook-ups, have taken to the web in search of online suitors or wealthy benefactors who, in exchange for sex, companionship, or both, might help with the bills.

Imaginative ways to pay off your tuition debate……but how will this play in the legal system?  And what about guys?  Can they play the gigolo to find financing for their massive debt?

It is sad that women must turn to this type of repayment plan…after all this is the world’s “greatest nation”, right?  And it sounds like something from the 18th century where women had to go into prostitution to pay off debts….is this a nation to be proud of?

It Is Always About The Money

I know you have watched “skin-a-max” and drooled over breasts and the rest…the blondes that are not really blondes…..and the acting….damn the acting!  But if you really want an American woman hot for you then take a hint from thios study.

A survey conducted by America Online suggests women in the United States would rather have an extra $50 a week than a more active sex life.The survey of nearly 5,300 women, conducted by AOL’s Shortcuts.com and AllYou.com, found a majority of respondents picked money over sex when asked which they would like to have more of weekly, the New York Daily News reported Monday.

The Daily News asked New Yorkers on the street the same question and received largely the same answers, the newspaper said.

“Two years ago, I would have responded differently, but in these times, money is definitely a priority over sex,” bartender Tracy Miller, 35, said.

“I’d take the money hands-down,” said homemaker Fay Stuart, 27. “In this recession, I’d rather have more money and security than sex.”

Makes one really happy to be in love, huh?  Wait!  Is that not called prostitution?

Every state is scrambling to find the funds for the programs that the state’s need some have excellent ideas…some not so much.  New York is proposing a $10 “pole” tax on strip clubs.  And Nevada has their cute little idea.

A Nevada lawmaker introduced a bill to add a $5-a-session fee to the state’s prostitution industry. State Sen. Bob Coffin (D) said the measure would bring in about $2 million a year in revenue. Nevada’s legal brothel industry group supports the bill, arguing that it would guarantee the industry’s survival.

What happens in Las Vegas, Stays in Las Vegas….especially more of your money.
