Take Me To Your Lawyer!

We have all seen all the razz-a – ma-tazz (what a great word) that has been flying all over the media…the back slapping by the Prez and his boyz and all the pouting and whining by the past prez’s gang of 10 or more…..everyone is taking credit for the death of Osama….or everyone WANTS the credit for the death, to be used as a political weapon later….which strikes me as humorous anyway…but what about the Reppubs in the House that REFUSE to issue an commendation to the unit that actually killed the man?  You see it would have to acknowledge that it was on Obama’s watch that we tasted success and the GOP cannot have that!

All that is just intro to a story….a lawsuit may well be in the making over the death of OBL….this from Jonathan Turley’s blog……

Omar bin Laden, bin Laden’s fourth eldest son, has allegedly issued a statement that calls the killing of his father as a “criminal” act and a humiliation for his family. Notably, he indicated the possibility of a lawsuit against the United States.The letter stated, in part: “We hold the American President (Barack) Obama legally responsible to clarify the fate of our father, Osama bin Laden, for it is unacceptable, humanely and religiously, to dispose of a person with such importance and status among his people, by throwing his body into the sea in that way, which demeans and humiliates his family and his supporters and which challenges religious provisions and feelings of hundreds of millions of Muslims.”

There are international principles that could be raised, including the statements by Pakistan that (despite conflicting statements from Obama Administration officials) they never approved the attack on Pakistani territory. Under U.S. common law, there are also obvious legal principles, including the mistreatment of corpses. However, the success of such a lawsuit in the United States is extremely doubtful. Since this was a foreign operation and involved foreign citizens, the jurisdiction of the courts would be hard to establish. Moreover, there is no legal requirement under U.S. law for the retention of these bodies and the disposal would be viewed as reasonable.

See…if this continues….then maybe they should have taken Shakespeare’s advice and “Kill All The Lawyers”……

I wrote this post days ago and saved it as a draft with the hope that I would not need to post it….but this whole photo thing has gone from ludicrous to down right f*cking absurd….so my decision was made for me…..

I find all this a bit irksome that a news story is driven by pea brain ass wads and that includes the mainstream media as well as bloggers……..E-f*cking-nough!

Personally, I am weary of all this back and forth of a NON-STORY!  It is being driven by morons that are so afraid that their 15 minutes will fade and they will become just another insignificant,  worthless lump of shit!!

For almost a week now there has been raging debate on whether the Prez should release the photos of OBL dead…..Some say it is a neglect of the “mission” to Not release them…..and others say that it makes no difference…he is dead…the end of it!

You would think that being told by the admin that OBL has been killed would be enough….but NOOOOO……no matter what this Prez does he is wrong or lying or what ever the extreme pundits want to call it……but let me ask…if GW had said he had been killed would we be having this conversation? Be honest!  You know DAMN well we would not!

OK, one more time and then it is said!  Prez says he was killed……Clinton says he is dead…….Gates said he was shot….Panetta say he is no more…..and finally, AQ has issued a statement on his death…..AQ admits OBL is DEAD!  (insert news flash here)…..ERGO OBL IS DEAD!  (Surprise!)

Now if that is NOT enough for you then I say find someone to prove he is still alive…..he is an idea…..Let Andrew Breitbart and his little weasel f*cker that thinks he is a filmmaker go to the area and get some “real” photos of OBL walking around…….we know that will NOT happen because 1–he is a coward and 2-…..thinking…..there is NO 2, 1 pretty much sums it up…..

This story is over…only pencil dick ass wipes want this to continue…..it helps drive the news away from the dismal crap their cronies are doing in the Congress…the people that these frauds address are the lowest denominator of Americans….those that still cannot accept a black man as the president of their country…..

Get over it!  The murdering bastard is dead!  You may not like it…..but there is the truth…..maybe Mr. Breitbart can prove me wrong…….(raucous laughter ensues)……

We Have Our Fall Guy

There has been lots of speculation flying around the web and the airwaves on just how Osama could have been in a large compound not an hour from the Pakistani capital and NO one knew he was there….as I said lots of speculation….and the world is waiting to see who will take the fall for this oversight…..wait NO longer….a fall guy has been found!

To allay both domestic and international anger and dismay over the presence of Osama bin Laden in a military cantonment town close to the capital, senior Pakistani officials have told The Daily Beast they recognize that an important head has to roll and soon. They say the most likely candidate to be the fall guy is Lt. Gen. Ahmad Shuja Pasha, the director general of the country’s spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence directorate. These high-level sources, who refused to be quoted or named, say that it’s nearly a done deal. Savvy Pakistani analysts who have close connections to the military agree. “It would make a lot of sense,” says retired Pakistani Lt. Gen. Talat Masood. “It’s in his (Pasha’s) personal and the national interest to take the heat off.”

Now the media has something or should I say someone they can fixate on the blame game….let us see how it plays out!

It Is Official! (About Time)

I NO longer have to start a post with….”Osama Bin Laden is STILL DEAD!

AQ has made it official…Thanx to the HufPo for the breaking news…..

The confirmation came in an Internet statement posted on militant websites, signed by “the general leadership” of al-Qaida. The announcement opens the way for the group to name a successor to bin Laden. His deputy Ayman al-Zawahri is now the most prominent figure in the group and is a very likely contender to take his place.

The statement, dated May 3, was the first by the terror network since bin Laden was killed Monday by U.S. commandos in a raid on his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The statement’s authenticity could not be independently confirmed, but it was posted on websites where the group traditionally puts out its messages.

“We stress that the blood of the holy warrior sheik, Osama bin Laden, God bless him, is precious to us and to all Muslims and will no go in vain,” the statement said. “We will remain, God willing, a curse chasing the Americans and their agents, following them outside and inside their countries.”

“Soon, God willing, their happiness will turn to sadness,” it said, “their blood will be mingled with their tears.”

Now the war for leadership will begin and I will be watching!

For years I have bitched about the media in the US….that they NO longer report news but rather drive the news….and I am talking about both sides of the political spectrum…they should be seen for what they are….HACKS!  Professionalism in journalism…..is dead and now it is a joke!

The photo question about Osama’s death has been answered…and it is NO…let it go…to keep the issue in the news is just short of irresponsibility….the American people do not care one way or the other…just say thank you to the special ops guys and move on!

The next piece of crap is the endless reports on the details of the raid and the subsequent killing of Osama….the media is really upset the the details keep changing and they have to have expert after expert paraded across the tube trying to get a handle on the details….

Here is the answer you dipshits are seeking…..it is called DEBRIEFING!…as the team is debriefed more and more details come out and then is passed on…there is NO story in this….only in the peanut brains of those trying to make a story where NONE exist…there is NO suspicion….only in the conversation that the media WANTS to have and the news they want to manufacture……..

The media, both lib and conserv is truly exactly what Palin called them…..LAMESTREAM MEDIA…….time to find REAL news and do what is expected of you, not by the corporate bosses, but rather the people, that you pretend to inform…..there is real news out there but that would mean you twits would have to work for it….I guess it is easier to make the news up…that is why I search out sources that do not have an agenda to drive.

This whole story about the photos and the details is just plain PATHETIC!

The Shape Of Things To Come?

First of all, Osama Bin Laden is still DEAD!

We had a raid on his compound…he was killed…..now there is a partisan pack of idiots out there….patting themselves on the back….Obama made the decision…it was on his shoulders and his watch….kudos….and now we have dipsticks rattling around for position on whether to release the death pics of Osama….choose your argument and tell it to the wind….he (Obama) has made his decision….no release!  Now the stoopids that are bitching about it as if it is some sort of conspiracy I say one thing…..LET OSAMA PROVE HE IS STILL ALIVE!

The media has been back and forth….back and forth….all about the photos and who shot who, where and why?  Let it GO!  The truth is thgat in the Middle East what few articles I read, the concern was not about the inflammatory nature of any photos but rather the burial at sea…….

What this corporate media should be reporting is what I consider a BIG story….they, the media, has asked what would be the consequences of the killing of Osama……and an article in the Arab News points to a possible out come of the raid….This should have been a lead story on the Nightly News….but NO they still want to have the photo debate…pathetic losers!  Here is an old fashion idea….TRY REPORTING THE GOOD NEWS for a change….

Alleged Al-Qaeda operative Khaled Hadal Al-Qahtani, who figured high on a list of 47 most-wanted terrorists, has surrendered to Saudi security authorities, Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour Al-Turki announced on Wednesday.The Interior Ministry reiterated its call to all wanted Saudi militants to return to the Kingdom and surrender themselves to security authorities as quickly as possible.

The ministry issued a new list of 47 most-wanted terrorists on Jan. 8. Interpol had issued a worldwide alert for militants with suspected links to Al-Qaeda who are wanted on terrorism charges.

The Saudi suspects posed “a potentially serious public threat at home and abroad due to their suspected involvement with Al-Qaeda,” Interpol said at the time, quoting an Interior Ministry statement.

The vultures that call themselves journalists are busy trying to make some official screw on the record so that they can have some sort of morbid victory…..when there is a good chance that the death of Osama will have a positive effect on the War on Terror…..this is why I look for real news from real sources….

Personally, I want to believe that this surrendering of a terror suspect voluntarily is the shape of things to come…..and that AQ will be on the ropes.

Do As I Say, Not As I Do

Today was going to be a day of post on Constitution related subjects,,,,more to come later…..but with all the debate and the noise about the death of Osama bin Laden; I found an interesting piece from Newser site…..it seems that the will of Osama has been located…..

Osama bin Laden didn’t want his wives to remarry or his children to become terrorists after his death, according to what a Kuwaiti newspaper says is a copy of his will. In the document—written on a computer, dated December 2001, and signed by “your brother Abu Abdullah Osama Muhammad bin Laden”—bin Laden claims responsibility for 9/11 and many other terrorist attacks, the Guardian reports. He laments betrayal around him, apologizes for being a neglectful dad, and advises his children not to join al-Qaeda or to join “the front” to wage jihad. “I have chosen a path fraught with dangers and endured hardships, disappointment and betrayal. If it wasn’t for betrayal, things would be different today,” the will states. “As for you, my sons, forgive me if I failed to devote more of my time to you since I answered the call to jihad.” The Kuwaiti paper hasn’t revealed how it obtained the will or if it was able to authenticate it. If it is genuine, Osama must have changed his mind about his children joining the fight: His youngest son appeared in terror videos and died in Sunday’s raid.

I found the information fascinating if it is true and accurate…..how about you guys?

A big win in the war on terror…….who will, if anyone, will step up to replace good old OBL….but first, I want to see the body….we have been fooled before…..

Did They Really Do That?

Obama is wrestling with what to do in Afghanistan….do we need more troops?….do we need an exit strategy?…Just what is our best form of reaction to the newest requests by the military in the country?……..The Pres will give a speech outlining what the direction will be…..but in the early days of yore…the days of wine and terrorists…..the biggest screw up of all times happened all in the name of WMD…..

I am personally weary of the Repubs trying to shift the blame from their moronic actions unto another President…..they do not want the responsibility for their screw ups…..

World’s most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden had written his will as US troops closed in on his hideout in Tora Bora mountains of Afghanistan in December 2001, but walked out “unmolested” after American military leaders decided not to send reinforcements to pursue him. The US military “could have captured or killed Osama bin Laden in 2001 if it had launched a concerted attack on his hideout in Afghanistan,” according to a damning Congressional report that comes on the eve of unveiling of a new Af-Pak policy by the Barack Obama Administration.

The 49-page report “Tora Bora Revisited: How we failed to get Bin Laden and Why it Matters Today”, prepared by the staff of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and released today, points finger at then Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and his top military commander Tommy Franks for turning down requests for reinforcements to pursue Laden.

Laden, trapped in the rugged mountainous area in eastern Afghanistan, expected to die and had even written a will, said the report, commissioned by Committee Chairman John Kerry.

“Fewer than 100 American commandos were on the scene with their Afghan allies and calls for reinforcements to launch an assault were rejected. Requests were also turned down for US troops to block the mountain paths leading to sanctuary a few miles away in Pakistan,” it said.

The vast array of US military power, from sniper teams to the most mobile divisions of Marine Corps and the Army, was kept on the sidelines, the report said adding that instead, the US command chose to rely on airstrikes and untrained Afghan militias to attack bin Laden and on Pakistan’s loosely organised Frontier Corps to seal his escape routes.

The decision not to deploy American forces to go after bin Laden or block his escape was made by Rumsfeld and Franks, “the architects of the unconventional Afghan battle plan known as Operation Enduring Freedom,” the report said.

The report said the escape of Laden was a lost opportunity that altered the course of the war and paved the way for insurgencies in Afghanistan and in Pakistan. “Removing the al-Qaeda leader from the battlefield eight years ago would not have eliminated the worldwide extremist threat,” it said.

The people doing the loudest bitching about the “dithering” of the President are the people that REFUSED to commit to eliminating the bad guy back in 2001.

Personally, I think it is time for these a/holes to shut the f*ck up!  If they want to keep their mouths and lips moving then why not make them come to Washington and answer questions for the American people of WHY they allowed the most wanted terrorist go…..

If the conservatives want to find someone who is aiding and abetting the enemy, as they have accused Obama of doing, then they need to look no further than the last admin, the one of GW and his merry band of pricks, to include robo-VP Cheney and Rumsfeld…..
