Random Thoughts

This is a regular feature on Info Ink, it is notes that I have made but that did not necessarily make it into a post.

To begin with, it is Thanksgiving and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my readers a joyous day; enjoy the fun, food and family and I will see you the day after.  Thanx for the visits and the comments they are much appreciated.

And now for something completely different (to quote Monty Python)

1–Do you realiuze that $33 trillion worth of wealth has been lost since the first of the year?

2–Could Bowflex have found a more pretentious bunch to hawk their product?

3–Just what the hell does “Economic Patriotism” mean?

4–Tiger Woods gets dumped from Buick–about a $7 million cut in pay

5–Without China and the Saudis the US economy would not exist.

6–How many times can the politicos in the media say the word “transparency”?  22 times in a 5 minute interview.

7–Anne Coulter has had to have her mouth wired shut–see!  there is a GOD!

8–Question?  If gas is falling like a lead balloon, how much has an airline ticket dropped?

9–On T/giving day a group will be running “Thank you, Sarah Palin” ad.  Is that a good idea?  I mean she was interviewed in front of a turkey killing machine in action.  Would that not remind people just how callous this woman is?

Random Thoughts

Once again, these are from notes I made and they never made it to a post….so I thought I would share them with my readers and get their input.

1–Being said of the Obama admin–they will leave the patriot act in place and put education on the back burner for now.

2–When did poker become a sport?  I missed that memo.

3–When did a car chase in Montana become national news–yet another missed memo, no doubt.

4–After all the socialist, communist, Marxist statement made by Republicans, a special instructor should be appointed to give remedial PoliSci 101 to them when they are in session.

5–Why did McCain lose?  I have been asked by several people and my standard answer is–He is BALD!  Americans have not elected a bald president since Ike.

6–Today it is called a financial rescue, tomorrow it will be called, “why daddy went to prison”.  Idea is thanks to Keith Olbermann.

7–Taxpayer is being treated like a mushroom–they are kept in the dark and fed sh!t.

8–Joe the Plumber skips a personal appearance to work on his new book….thinking….the book is destined to become like that fruit cake from Aunt Sally….save it for next year and give it as a gift.

9–Sarah Palin could get as much as $11 million for a book deal.  Goes to show that even a mental midget can find success as a writer.

10-My last note–Rush Limbaugh on his radio show has blamed Obama for the recession now in progress.  And Obama has not even been sworn in–pretty much indicate where Rush will be for the next 4 years, at least.

Random Thoughts From A Demented Mind

As I have said before these are a few thoughts I had and made notes but never made it to a post.  Just want to share with my readers and hopefully they will have a comment or two.

1–Will Repubs try to keep Palin under wraps or with a handler until elections?  Her ionterviews have been disasters.

2–McCain voted 19 times in 26 yrs against a minimum wage increase.  Is that country first?

3–Congressional hearings markets go up……vote fails…markets go down….day after markets go up….and the beat goes on.

4–McCain group pouting because Obama is using Davis’ connection to Fannie and Freddie, this after they tried to connect Obama to fannie and freddie—is not this f*cking silly?

5–All of Wall Street wants a bailout….think about that……

6–McCain has not voted in the Senate since April 08.

7–OMG!  The wording is everything!  The bailout is now asset acquisition or it is a rescue…….all trying to quell any dissension.

8–In the VP debate, Palin will be at a disadvantage–I look for her to ignore Biden and attack Obama and his policies.  There is NO way she can stand toe to toe with Biden in a debate.  Especially since her TV appearances shows she has no real value other than to generate the base to drooling.

9–A few suggestions–Maybe it would be a good idea to tell McCain to stop taking credit where credit is not due…Palin needs to stop trying to be glib…she is awful at it…makes her look like a moron…….Maybe McCain should pick a direction and stay on course…..

10-This will sound like a conspiracy in the making…but here goes anyway….the bailout failure Monday …could it have been the plan?  Now all those voices are starting to quiet down…now the basic same plan may pass on thursday…and the finger pointing can be minimized.  Thoughts?
