Since the death of poor Lindsey and the rise of his sister to the highest place in the government….at first I thought she might be her own person but that belief was smashed to pieces when she embraced the whole MAGA BS….
In a show of support for President Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham’s sister, Darline, has dropped her married name, “Nordone,” and will instead go by her maiden name.
Graham, who took over the remainder of her brother’s Senate term after his sudden death despite having no prior political experience, quietly made the announcement during an interview with Sean Hannity. The name change was noticed in a lower third on the Fox News show.
“I’ll continue to say I’ve been praying a lot, talking to my family,” said Graham as the graphic below her read “Exclusive interview with Senator Darline Graham.” She added, “But with the love of my family, with the support of his staff, I know I’m a hard worker.“

Not to worry just another scheming toad in the the Senate who will embrace MAGA beliefs in the destruction of society as we know it.
She needs to be replaced and soon….but do the people of South Carolina have it in them to replace her?

So a politician dies and his sister just waltzes in and gets his job. How does that work? Why no new election in South Carolina? That’s just blatant corruption as far as I can see.

It’s one of the quirks of our electoral system here. In some states, if a senator or representative dies or resigns or leaves office, if the death occurs within a certain number of days from the end of the term of office, the governor of the state can simply appoint a replacement to fill out the term. If the period of time is longer than that, a special election must be called to elect someone to replace the deceased. I believe that different states have different laws concerning the replacement.
One of the reasons there are so many conspiracy theories about Mitch Mcconnell’s health is that if he dies before a certain date in August, it triggers a special election to replace him which the GOP would have a good chance of losing. So the theory is that he’s really dead (or at least brain dead) and they’re keeping it secret until that date so the governor can then appoint a Trump supporter to finish his term of office.
