There has been a fake story for decades now of voter fraud…..dead people voting, immigrants voting, voting more than once and the mail-in vote….and then there is a crap about gerrymandering (but that is another post)…..
You know there is voter fraud and most of the time it is some GOPer trying to game the system…although ‘liberals’ are said to to be the culprits.
If Republicans are really looking for election fraud, they might want to check on their own party members.
In Massachusetts, the State Ballot Law Commission ruled last week to disqualify Republican candidates for lieutenant governor and attorney general from the state’s primary election after they submitted allegedly forged signatures to get their names on the ballot.
Adam Roof, executive director of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, had filed objections to the veracity of the signatures collected by the campaigns of Anne Manning Martin, who is running for lieutenant governor, and Michael Walsh, who is running for attorney general.
Candidates needed to gather 10,000 signatures to appear on the primary ballot. The commission invalidated 1,279 of Martin’s 10,692 signatures and 1,021 of Walsh’s 10,677 signatures.
In Martin’s case, signature gatherer Joe Bronske allegedly used a list of registered Republican voters to forge hundreds of signatures. The allegedly forged signatures were first noticed by another Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, who had also hired Bronske and found he’d collected signatures from deceased voters. When deposed by an attorney for Shawn Oliver, one of Martin’s opponents, Bronske repeatedly pleaded the Fifth Amendment, suggesting he had “something to hide,” according to the ruling.

These con artist will do whatever they can to rig the vote…..saying lost ballots, rigged voting machines, lousy count, etc…..and so far these ‘guardians of democracy’ (that is above sarcasm) have found very little voter fraud other than the morons in their own party.
There is NO wide spread voter fraud…..only small pockets of conservs trying to rig the vote in favor of conserv candidates…..but yet we must hear the same lies uttered every election trying to convince the people of wrong doing in the voting process but the only wrong doing is by those that accuse.
I find it all too humorous that whatever the Repubs say the Dems are doing is exactly what the GOP is doing….anyone else noticed this?

The letters also asked the state officials to explain how they intend to comply with federal law and ensure noncitizens do not cast ballots. Each state was given five days to respond.
“Any election officer, including the chief election officer of the state, who knowingly retains noncitizens on the state’s [state voter registration list] or facilitates noncitizens in receiving and casting ballots could be subject to criminal liability,” Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon wrote in identical letters sent to officials in Arizona, Michigan and Maine that were reviewed by CBS News. She added that it is also a crime for two or more people to conspire to deprive people of their constitutional rights.
“We encourage you to contact us to discuss what steps your state should take to maintain clean voter lists as required by law,” she wrote.
President Trump has claimed for months that people who are not U.S. citizens frequently vote in federal elections, even though instances of noncitizen voting are extremely rare.
FYI there is NO proof that any of this has happened on a scale that would make a difference…..but yet the GOP and Donny keeps scratching hoping for a scab.

What is so sad is that, by continuing to lie and lie and lie, people begin to believe it’s true…when are have been virtually no credible examples of fraudulent voting at all! The current harassment of state voting officials will backfire as the courts will not allow this illegal attempt to access voter records. If you can’t win legally, you do this.

I can’t comment on Republican strategy right now because I have seen a democrat candidate for governor of a state destroyed by allegations when we have an administration filled with people who have had allegations but they were elected anyway.

That story even made it onto the BBC. Trump and his Republican cronies are always ‘projecting’, so whenever you see them complain about anything, it’s because they know they are doing it themselves and want to shift the blame to the opposition.

It’s not really about actual voter fraud. It’s them trying to call into question the integrity of the entire electoral process so they can impose their own restrictions in order to suppress voting by their opponents.
