Shutdown Two Step–Update

Tick Tok MFers!

There has been some negotiations between the two parties on saving the nation from a governmental shutdown and as the deadline draws near it is not looking too promising for a deal.

Democratic congressional leaders left the White House on Monday without a deal to avert a government shutdown, which otherwise would take effect at 12:01am Wednesday. Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer said “large differences” remain between the parties on health care funding, the New York Times reports, and Vice President JD Vance said, “I think we’re headed into a shutdown because the Democrats won’t do the right thing.” The Democrats said the private meeting, which included President Trump, was candid but didn’t make any progress toward a breakthrough.

One door was left slightly open, per Politico. Trump administration officials seemed amenable to bipartisan talks on extending health insurance subsidies that are about to expire, which Democrats want to avoid. “Let’s work on it together,” Vance said. But the GOP side said the negotiations could only take place if government remains open. “We’re seeing people not being able to get the health care they need, and the American people are crying out for some help,” Schumer said. Republicans have not made any concessions on the issue, per the Times. The White House Office of Management and Budget has advised federal agencies to prepare for potential workforce reductions if the shutdown occurs.

Let’s say the shutdown happens….who will be the winner?

This silly game does nothing for this country other than a diversion from the manure spread by both parties on a wide array of subjects.

They have until 12:01 am tomorrow to come up with a solution….who knows they may just do it for it seems they relish the idea of a last minute deal because it plays so well in the media.

This dance has become pathetic, disgusting and unnecessary….there are more important issues that deserve this much attention…..but when you have spineless political hacks in Congress this saga is the best we can expect.

What will the news be tomorrow when we all arise for our morning cup?

Big Day For Big Brass Summit

Today is the day when Hogsbreath and Donny meet with the top military commanders and lay out whatever plan the War Department has in store for the world.

A lot of speculation on just what this rare meeting of the brass has brewing for our military.

Just one more speculation to add to the long list….

Top military leaders—including the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff—have registered serious concerns with the Trump administration’s planned change in defense strategy ahead of the meeting involving hundreds of generals and admirals, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and President Trump scheduled for Tuesday in Virginia. Current and former officials described the criticism to the Washington Post of the changes that would make the Pentagon’s priority possible threats at home, reduce the focus on China, and diminish US activities in Europe and Africa.

A Pentagon spokesman would not say whether internal objections have been raised but said Hegseth has ordered up a strategy “that is laser focused on advancing President Trump’s commonsense America First, Peace Through Strength agenda,” adding, “This process is still ongoing.” The objections reflect frustration with a new strategy that officers consider “myopic and potentially irrelevant, given the president’s highly personal and sometimes contradictory approach to foreign policy,” per the Post. After drafts of the plan were circulated, Gen. Dan Caine, the Joint Chiefs chairman who disagrees with deemphasizing the potential threat from China, gave Hegseth what one insider called “very frank feedback.”

If this is true that there will be less importance of China then why is this a story?

The Pentagon has asked defense contractors to double or quadruple production rates, fearing that low U.S. stockpiles would be insufficient for a potential future conflict with China.

People familiar with the matter say the Pentagon has asked the defense contractors to massively scale production, focusing on a dozen critical weapons, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, which led to a bump in U.S. defense stocks. However, experts cited in the report warn that the U.S. government will need to raise more funds and sign more contracts to meet their expectations, which some believe are unrealistic.

And the lies and confusion continues…..

We will not know about this meeting until someone steps up and lets the public know what we are in for with this band of thugs.

Any deep thoughts before the results are presented?

The Donny/BiBi Peace Plan

Yesterday the two biggest liars on the international stage met and after a love fest they came up with a peace plan for Gaza….

President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday they’ve agreed to a plan to end the war in Gaza, but it’s unclear whether Hamas will accept the terms.

  • Trump laid out a 20-point plan on Monday for ending the Israel-Hamas war and establishing a postwar governance in the war-battered Palestinian territory. Trump’s plan states that Gaza would be governed by a committee made up of “qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body.” The “Board of Peace” would be headed by Trump, “with other members and heads of State to be announced,” including Tony Blair. The full text of the plan can be seen here.
  • The plan does not require people to leave Gaza and calls for the war to end immediately if both sides accept it, the AP reports. It also calls for all remaining hostages to be released within 72 hours of Israel accepting the plan.
  • “Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza,” the plan states. It says the US will work with Arab nations and other partners to create an International Stabilization Force. The plan says as the ISF “establishes control and stability” in Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces “will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and time frames linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the IDF, ISF. the guarantors, and the United States.”
  • The proposal states that after hostages are freed, “Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty,” CNBC reports. “Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.”
  • Trump said Israel would have the “full backing” of the United States to take steps to defeat Hamas if it doesn’t accept the proposed peace deal. “I think we are beyond very close,” Trump said at the start of a news conference with Netanyahu where he detailed the plan. “We’re not quite finished. We have to get Hamas.” Netanyahu said, “If Hamas rejects your plan, Mr. President, or if they supposedly accept it and then do everything to counter it, then Israel will finish the job by itself. This can be done the easy way or it can be done the hard way, but it will be done.”
  • The plan states that a panel of experts will create a “Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza.” It says the “new” Gaza “will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbors.”
  • The New York Times notes that the plan “seems to tread delicately” around some of the more contentious subjects, remaining vague on issues including Palestinian statehood and the role of the Palestinian Authority. It states that after PA reforms are carried out, “the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood.”
  • Trump and Netanyahu did not take questions at the news conference. That could be a “reflection of the fact that many specifics still need to be figured out before answering queries about what is an extremely complicated plan where many things could potentially go wrong,” notes Bernd Debusmann Jr. at the BBC. Earlier Monday, Netahyahu called Qatar from the White House to apologize for the Israeli airstrike on the country earlier this month.
  • A Hamas official said the group was briefed on the plan but has yet to receive an official offer from Egyptian and Qatari mediators. The group has repeatedly rejected laying down arms and has linked its weapons to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Blair?  Why this tool?

Some high flying conditions…..but little emphasis on the starvation of Palestinians.

Recognition of Palestinian statehood…..what crap-!  BiBi and his thugs in government have made it clear that there will be NO Palestinian state.

https://original.antiwar.com/cook/2025/09/29/recognition-of-palestine-is-a-repeat-of-the-wests-oslo-peace-fraud/

IDF remains and some vague peace accord that was a fraud decades ago and is a fraud today.

A great deal promises given by the two biggest liars today….this will not fly for Israel will always use the excuse of self-defense to commit more atrocities.

BiBi’s words are so much crap as they have always been.

Netanyahu’s speech at the UN was packed with rhetorical tricks and gimmicks: waving signs, a childish quiz, a publicity stunt about broadcasting the speech to phones in Gaza, speaking in Hebrew – supposedly to the hostages – and more. But it was also full of white lies, half-truths, and outright falsehoods.

There is no way that Israel will hold to any thing they agree to because they have never lived up to any agreement….there will always be someone that wants to destroy Israel and that is the excuse they will use to destroy and maim.

Interesting but we will see how far this will go.

Side Note:  BiBi has apologized to Qatar….

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a rare apology. During his visit to the White House to meet with President Trump on Monday, Netanyahu called his counterpart in Qatar to apologize for Israel’s airstrike in that country earlier this month, reports Reuters. The call to Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al suggests a deal might be in the offing, notes Axios: Qatar had demanded an apology before it agreed to resume its role as a mediator between Israel and Hamas.

Disingenuous Bullshit!
