The House has passed HR1…….and the peasants danced……

BREAKING: The House just passed HR1, which includes: -Automatic voter registration -Public financing of elections -An end to gerrymandering -Election Day as a federal holiday -Support for overturning Citizens United This is the greatest victory for democracy in generations.

Is that not a bit premature?

After all it must go to the Senate….and as we all know…the Senate is where good ideas go to die a slow death.

Maybe the media should hold off on proclaiming this a blow for democracy just yet…….maybe wait to see just how bad the Senate can screw this bill up…….
