If you follow international situations then you are scoffing at my title……I know there is NO evidence that Iraq is anywhere close to a unified country……then why would I make such a claim?
First, it was not I that made the claim….that one came from the mouth of our VP Joe Biden……
Suggesting he neither understands what happened to Iraq in 2014 or what is happening in Iraq right now, Vice President Joe Biden claimed the ISIS war is going very well, and that it had ultimately been a net positive that “unified” the country against a common enemy.
Biden’s comments seem to center around the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) not explicitly talking about secession from Iraq as much as they were in mid-2014, though that seems to be at best a temporary decision, with the same disputes over oil revenues and autonomy as unresolved as ever.
His bold statement shows the disconnect everyone in DC has when it comes to the events in Iraq……..Joe is just another one of our lazy leaders that are pushing some sort of “job well done” in Iraq (a Mission Accomplished moment)……even the Iraqis are surprised by this statement and find it humorous…..
This is a prime example of why our foreign policy sucks so bad. NO one wants to face reality. Propaganda is the rule and if you resort to this action then you are not doing well and have to lie to protect your ass.
This is what the country gets when they rely on morons like Sen. Cotton and d/bags like Kerry to run our foreign policy…..it is more about money than the situation…..they seem to think that every situation can be fixed with more weapons.
This will NEVER change. We will always be at the point of no return.
OMG! We’re screwed! “The porch light is on but no one is home!!” Who is driving this bus?
Agree … point of no return. Makes me glad I’m the age I am.
This is how bad the international situation becomes when we allow people with zero knowledge run things…..this story is far from over…..
Agree!! And I don’t think it’s going to get any better! Remember …. bomb, bomb, bomb Iran … from McCain? 🙁
Looks like Cotton wants to be the successor to McCain who will eventually go away…..
Oh gosh …. the “passing of the torch”. Ugh …
Graham is a d/bag they need someone young and brainless….enter Cotton…
The perfect combo!! 🙁
