I like WAR! Well not the action part…..been there done that, never again…..what I like is the study of conflict….causes, results and etc etc……..
The way situations are going could a WW3 be in the wings just waiting for that one incident to plunge the world into chaos…..yet again?

But to answer the question – No, no WWIII
American hawks and super patriot egos are going to have climb down from their exceptionalism high horses and learn more global history than simply waving their own flag. The rest of the world is no longer listening to our bravado and we need to quit acting surprised/offended when they do much of what the U.S. has been for several decades now – spreading our sphere of influence around the world.

The problem we have is policy makers are OLD! They still buy into the crap from the 40’s……..maybe we should force them to have experience in a field before we put them on a committee that makes policy…just a thought…..chuq

I fear America’s collective attention span doesn’t enable a coherent, balanced view of even the least complex foreign country, let alone one as historically diverse as Russia.
