All we can do now is watch and wait for the circus to pl;ay out its moronic debate on Syria and in the mean time I would like to rant a bit on the media coverage……

Daily we hear about the 426 children killed by the Syrian gas attack….it comes from every angle and from every political outlet……a good way to gin up support by reminding the people just how many children have been killed….say it and say it often.

I have a problem with this tactic!  I will agree that it is horrible that that many children were victims of the Sarin gas but the way the media is using them it is disgusting…..I would not mind so much if they were as concerned about other children as they are the ones in Syria……what could I be talking about, right?

Now what makes those killed by the gas more horrific than the ones killed by air attacks or by other means?

Apparently the media, government et al are protecting Israel from harsh criticism for their deliberate murder of children….Assad is not afforded that nicety……why is that?  Is it because Israel is our only friend in the Middle East?  If you believe that ask a survivor of the USS Liberty attack and you will get another view.

We could make the case that Israel is only protecting themselves from a hostile entity…..guess what, like it or not, we could make the same argument for Assad.

So just what makes the death of Syrian children more horrific than the death of Palestinian children?  Just what makes the deaths of Palestinian children insignificant?

Sorry to burst anyone’s bubble but the murder of children, no matter who is responsible, should be reported that same way and not sugar coat one and rail against another……a murdered child is a murdered child….I do not give a shit who did it…..they are murderers!
