The big news of the day is the filibuster that Rand Paul was involved with yesterday…..he did not set a new record but he did get his time in the “hero’s chair”……..

Seriously, when is someone just going to stand up drag these freaks away?
John, I think they allow them to stick around for comic relief……
Ahhhhh, now that makes sense! 🙂
It has to be because not one of them has enough sense to pour piss out of boot with the instructions written on the heel…..
Ah my poor misguided friends.
Obama has already assassinated an American citizen on foreign soil (wait, what ?? when did that happen??) with a drone. The simple question that Senator Paul asked was does Obama have the right to kill an American citizen on U.S soil. The only answer to that question is no.
Holder responded with an yes, and a head scratching reference to Pearl Harbor and 9/11.
Rand Paul is a libertarian, but because he has an R at the end of his name you have liberals defending the government killing U.S citizens instead of due process. Water boarding bad, assassinations good.
So… President “Mission Accomplished” signed the death warrant of 5,000 American kids invading the WRONG country.
Owen, I believe that Holder has sent another memo to Paul and the answer is NO……..
Lobotero,
I saw that, he should of said that the first time.

John,
You are stuck in that Democrat/Republican ping pong match. You don’t understand what Rand Paul (and his father Ron) is saying so you block it out and call them “freaks”.
Everything you point out about Bush and Iraq is correct, but you don’t see that Obama met his wars and raised him two. Obama promised to end the war in Iraq in his first 100 days, but after he was elected he adopted Bush’s exit plan. Even then, he extended Bush’s date by another 2 months.
Obama has let all of Bush’s atrocities on personal liberty stand, and raised the ceiling even higher.
Hi Owen, I’m an Australian looking in and I can certainly see Obama hasn’t lived up to expectations, and keeping the Patriot Act is unforgivable in my opinion, but are you seriously defending anwar awlaki? The guy declared war on the US. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m anti-violence in every respect, but i do accept (reluctantly) that it is unavoidable at times. I only wish it weren’t.
Now, as to the Pauls… they are teabagging freaks. Ron is a lunatic racist and his son awarded himself a doctorate from his own institution. The sooner these two nutcases (and the rest of the teabagger circus) are removed from US politics the better your country will be.
Obama has done a lot worse then not living up to people expectations, he is easily one of he worst presidents of all time and much worse then Bush.
I am not defending Anwar, and I am surprise I have to address this. I’m defending the rule of law and due process. When John Adams defended the British solders of the Boston Massacre, he wasn’t anti-American. He was pro rule of law.
Your reference to Ron Paul as a racist shows your ignorance of the facts.
Facts… you mean like 20 years of his self published racist newsletters? Oh yes, I have copies of those.
You’re a teabagger fanatic. You’re America’s internal enemy.
Plus, are you denying the younger paul didn’t grant himself a doctorate from his own institution? Honestly, what sort of self-serving, egomaniac would do such a thing and think it believable?
