Breast Milk Ice Cream

Now here is a novel idea and of course PETA came up with it.

PEOPLE for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has urged US ice cream makers Ben & Jerry’s Homemade to replace cow’s milk in ice cream products with breast milk.

“PETA’s request comes in the wake of news reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 per cent of the cow’s milk in the food he serves,” the animal rights group said

PETA officials say a move to breast milk would lessen the suffering of dairy cows and their calves on factory farms and benefit human health.

“The fact that human adults consume huge quantities of dairy products made from milk that was meant for a baby cow just doesn’t make sense,” PETA spokeswoman Tracy Reiman said.

“Everyone knows that the breast is best, so, Ben & Jerry’s could do consumers and cows a big favour by making the switch to breast milk.”

Ben & Jerry’s said: “We applaud PETA’s novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother’s milk is best used for her child.”

Think about this–I would hate to see women hooked up to the milking machines–I mean they only think a mammogram is painful, just wait til the milk-o-matic gets a hold of them.

Ok since we cannot eat cows and now the milk is off limitis, what use will we have for cows at all?  We could eliminate the species and solve our global warming thing, since some blame cow farts with the phenom.  Maybe it is an idea that we predators should consider.

  1. Interesting how far out PETA can get.

I suppose they advocate hooking up women to milking machines in stalls on behalf of cows, cow flatulence, whale hugging or some such doctrine.

It would be nice if the folk in PETA were as concerned with human suffering here and abroad as they are in critters.

Flush PETA and the psychos in it.

  2. As I’ve said before… Eyes facing forward predator, eyes on either side prey. Humans are predators and as such our brains require lots of protein. While breast milk might actually be better for humans I think the whole thing is a publicity stunt.

      1. The whole plethora of political systems we live under (in fact all pretences at democracy) are no more than giant and continuing publicity stunts, so why not this, eh? 😆

      2. True and I think the Gramsci back in the 20’s wasa oh so right about the roll of the mass media and the corporations…..
