2012 Anal-Ocity Award Nominees

It is December and this year is quickly drawing to a close and that means a lot to many people…..but to me it means it is time to give the Anal-Ocity Award to the most deserving person. It was an election year and there were more anal statements flying around than I could keep up without living on the web……..

As usual I let my readers vote on the most anal and the winner will be posted on 31 December and an email will be sent to the winner with a congrats note….

Ah, Amsterdam!

In the travels of my younger years I happened upon the city of Amsterdam……what can I say? Canal Street where your sexual fantasies can be lived….no matter how “kinky” you may be. And the cafes where dope is sold like weighing hot nuts at Woolsworth…..the longest week I ever had was my 2 days in Amsterdam……..they have been an innovator in the past and it looks like they are still at it……

Holland’s capital already has a special hit squad of municipal officials to identify the worst offenders for a compulsory six month course in how to behave.

Social housing problem families or tenants who do not show an improvement or refuse to go to the special units face eviction and homelessness.

Eberhard van der Laan, Amsterdam’s Labour mayor, has tabled the £810,000 plan to tackle 13,000 complaints of anti-social behaviour every year. He complained that long-term harassment often leads to law abiding tenants, rather than their nuisance neighbours, being driven out.

“This is the world turned upside down,” the mayor said at the weekend.

Holy Crap! Another “Who Knew”!

Yesterday we learned that a breast implant could possibly save your life….and that was a Who Knew moment for me…..and I thought that it would be awhile before another crossed my path…..I was WRONG (it is not easy for me to say that)……..

(Newser) – Talk about a hair of the dog that bit you: A New Zealand man went into surgery after literally drinking himself blind this summer, and doctors cured him with a healthy dose of Johnny Walker Black, the New Zealand Herald reports. Denis Duthie, 65, was celebrating his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary by drinking vodka—when he suddenly found he had “gone completely blind,” he says. “I thought it had got dark and I’d missed out on a bit of time but it was only about half past three in the afternoon.”

At the hospital doctors realized Duthie probably had methanol poisoning from the vodka, which reacted badly with his diabetes medication. They wanted to treat it with ethanol, a common type of alcohol, but didn’t have any—so the registrar ran out for a bottle of whisky. Doctors dripped it into Duthie’s stomach through a tube, and lo and behold, he could see again five days later. It’s “a well established treatment,” says a medicine specialist. “If the patient’s awake they can just drink it.” Stuff reports that Duthie hasn’t had a single drink since: “I’ll be taking it easy,” he says.

This is the calm weekend, at least for me, time when I reflect on the past weeks …….HA HA HA…..time for some news and such…..enough with the political morons…..give us…..BOOBS!

The bullet traveled through one and out the other before hitting her forearm. Now she’s all healed—with new implants. “I had to wait some time, but yes, I had some put back in,” she says. Her ex-beau’s trial continues.

Never Forget Pearl Harbor!

We here all the campaign promises of change that the candidate will bring to our country’s capital……and so far there has been NO change……and the next election will be about the change to come….and the best I can do is……laugh my ass off and I do not have much ass to lose……the fiscal policy is so important that a group of elected ones are off until next Tueday celebrating something called “Rednecks and Turtlnecks”….it is where they get together and wear tacky sweaters and drink pink martinis……glad to see the seriousness of this fiscal thing……

First, reform is NOT, I will repeat that so it is understood, NOT change! he promise of change is nothing but a reactionary term……I know….I know….somewhere in their Mom’s basement is a little toad that will jump all over than term……well let me help you out so you do not hurt yourself with Google…….

Reactionary—-reacting to a political situation, not to be confused with change……that said….how about working on real change not that slogan at campaigning time…….reforms have done NOTHING to fix the problems in Washington……..

First, since few people like the idea to term limits, then make the boys and gals retire at the SS retirement age…..that would eliminate all the 90 and 100 year old farts that cannot remember to unzip their pants before they pee……

Second, make the fools work at least 6 months of a year…..I mean the next House will work 126 days in 2013 or pay them as part time employees and limit their benefits….0r how about paying them piece work? That would be major pieces of legislation not re -naming a damn post office….

Third, take away benefits like gym and cafeteria and NO more sleeping in their offices…..they want to be a big cheese then pay their way…we are asking workers to give up most of their benefits then let Congress lead the way….

Fourth, since there is so much concern over “voter fraud”…..what a snowjob that is….then the Federal government should take over all elections…regardless…….

Fifth, the secession joke…….put it on the ballot in all 50 states….if it wins then cut off ALL aid to that state and put up toll posts at every major exit and charge them to leave…..these whiny fucks deserve NOTHING!

Sixth, since today’s politicians do not know their counter parts except by name….then that needs to change…..ALL elected ones will reside in communal complexes….this will force these dorks into some sort of relationship with all sides….

Seventh, if a Congress person is unable to fulfill their obligation to work in the frame work set up by the founders, because of illness, accident or whatever occurs, after a grace period of 90 days then they will resign or be forced out of office……if works for the corporate sector and it will work for the political sector…

These proposals may not repair the damage that the asshats, clowns and morons have inflicted on the country…..it could not hurt…..maybe then we would see who is in it for the country or for themselves………my bet is on the later.

NOTE: A copy of this post has been emailed to members of Congress and if they would like to justify their lack of a work ethic then I shall be glad to talk with them……..I do not write anything I would not say to their faces. Enuff said!

Let’s Fake A Deal (Thanx TRMS)

The only difference between the game show and the political show are the costumes the participants wear……..it’s all a game and a pathetic one at that…..

By now the whole damn world knows of the fiscal cliff….or is it fiscal slope……maybe it is a fiscal curb…….anyway the media is working overtime to turn this into a complete month long opportunity to drive the conversation…..

All this is just a fake deal…….nothing about it is worth reporting……that is unless you think that this is a big deal……and if you do…… you need to remove your head from your ass……

First the Dems and the prez offer up their proposal…….

Let’s back up and examine Mr. Obama’s offer. As expected, it calls for $1.6 trillion in tax increases over 10 years. The president has long said that’s his dollar goal for new revenue and that raising rates on the top 2 percent of taxpayers is the only way to raise enough cash to get there.

But the proposal also calls for $50 billion in immediate stimulus spending.

Obama’s proposals were nothing…..not even a serious offer…..but I guess they had to start somewhere…….but this is not to my liking……

Oh yeah, the GOP has offered up their counter proposal……

The proposal from House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and other Republicans comes in response to Obama’s offer last week to hike taxes by $1.6 trillion over the coming decade but largely exempt Medicare and Social Security from budget cuts.

The GOP plan also proposes to raise $800 billion in higher tax revenue over the decade but it would keep the Bush-era tax cuts.

You may like one proposal over the other….but neither explains in plain English how they will achieve their ends……we must take their word for it……and of course, their word is good only if it is not from the other guy…….pathetic.

Now all those on the Right are telling the country that this is the most reasonable of proposals……..funny how this same proposal was a piece of crap when it was first offered back early in 2012…..it was not a serious offer then but now….well we all know how they play this lame ass game……wait for the 11th hour to promote urgency and make a deal to appear to have saved the country from disaster…..

All the optimism the day after Mitt got his ass handed to him in the election is gone…….of course there NEVER was any way of compromise….it was all the same game…..smoke and mirrors….

But at least I did not expect any cooperation…….none of these ass clowns or the media that speaks for them wants anything good to happen in the country…..it makes better copy and more lively debate to screw over the country…….

Who Do We Owe?

I continue to ignore the stupidity in Washington and the pundits that are making a mountain out of a mole hill……all we learn is that some Congresspeople are quicker to the microphone than others….nothing being said is reality but rather a bunch of crap fed to us through the feeding tube of cable TV…..

What do we own our vets? We ask them to do so much and we, as a nation, give so little…..think that is incorrect? Then why do we need organizations like Wounded Warrior Project and others……if vets were given what we owe them there would be no need……PERIOD!

(Newser) – John Shepherd Jr. enlisted in the Army in 1968 and was awarded a Bronze Star for his service during the Vietnam War, yet he can’t get veterans benefits today due to his undesirable discharge (now known as an other-than-honorable discharge). Shepherd was court-martialed and discharged after he started acting erratically and ultimately refused to go on patrol; he says he had been feeling increasingly anxious and his breaking point came when his platoon leader was killed in front of him. Years later, he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder—and now he’s part of a class action lawsuit against the military, fighting for an upgrade to his discharge because of his PTSD.

PTSD was not identified until 1980, but these days, troops must be examined for PTSD before being discharged. If they are diagnosed with PTSD, they can still receive an honorable discharge, which makes it easier to find work and get veterans benefits. But Vietnam-era veterans were not given the same allowances, and the lawsuit argues that Shepherd—and others—had PTSD when he was discharged and should thus receive an upgrade. From 2003 to 2012, 154 Vietnam-era vets petitioned for an upgrade; all but two were rejected, Shepherd included—even though, in other cases, upgrades are granted in almost half the time. The suit could affect thousands of veterans, the New York Times reports.

I know there will be some “sunshine patriot” that will write that these people do not deserve any respect…..but to those I say…..if you were not there then your opinion accounts for NOTHING! You have NO idea the circumstances other than what the media wants you to know…..without first hand knowledge you know less than nothing.

Could This Be The Noise Before Action?

I was gonna post on the antics of our elected officials are engaging in as I write…..it is a goddamn silly game these twats are playing! we can pretend that the discussion on the “fiscal cliff” ( a damn silly analogy) is for the best …..when all it is is moronic political posturing for the next Congress or as it should be called the anti-MENSA association….please keep in mind….YOU elected these clowns and YOU can un-elected them……..

I decided to check out the rest of the world for stories that could have far reaching implications……and I did not have to look far……..

(Newser) – Syria and chemical weapons: Words you don’t want to hear in the same sentence, but ones that are once again making headlines. The New York Times reports that the regime appears to be moving its chemical weapons again, according to intelligence out of Syria. But the most recent reports go beyond the straightforward transport of arms, with a US official describing the activity as suggestive of “some potential chemical weapon preparation.” US officials wouldn’t say whether Syria is nearing the “red line” Obama set in August, but Hillary Clinton trotted out the phrase again today, reports the Washington Post.

“This is a red line for the United States,” she declared, reiterating that “we are certainly planning to take action” should the US obtain proof that Bashar al-Assad has deployed his chemical weapons. Meanwhile, the Guardian yesterday reported that it spoke with Turkish officials who explained that their country’s desire to line the border with Patriot missiles stemmed from what the paper calls “credible evidence” that if Assad is unable to overcome the rebels using air power, he will turn to “missiles, perhaps with chemical warheads.” It notes that the Free Syrian Army has had recent success in downing regime aircraft. The Pentagon last month reported that it would require 75,000 troops to secure Syria’s chemical stockpiles.

This all sounds like the crap we were fed before the first and second Gulf War….building a case for the US to use their might to control a situation……I just hope the American people are smarter than these toads think they are…..

Secession Fever

By now I feel that everyone who is interested has heard that there are petitions for secession for all 50 states and I believe Texas (go figure) has the most signers at 100,000…….and there are those in other countries that want to break away from the motherland to form their own ……..the Kurds in Iraq, the Eastern half of Libya, lots of unhappy residents that do not like their governing body and think they can do it better themselves……

But at least one country has had success at the ballot box for secessionists…………

(Newser) – In a vote widely seen as a test of support for independence from Spain, a majority of voters in Catalonia have picked separatist candidates in regional elections. The result makes a genuine referendum on independence within the next few years more likely, but with the separatist vote split among four parties, it’s not clear who will spearhead the effort, the New York Times reports. The party of Catalan President Artur Mas, who wants the region to secede, has lost seats in the regional parliament and he will now have to strike alliances with smaller parties who agree on Catalan independence but little else.

“Mas managed to turn separatism into a burning issue, but then ended up being overtaken by more radical parties in this debate and now finds himself in a much harder position to govern Catalonia in a time of crisis,” a newly elected Socialist lawmaker says. Polls show that support for independence in the relatively wealthy region has more than doubled to 57% since Spain’s economic crisis began, though the government in Madrid has vowed to fight the independence movement every step of the way, the Telegraph reports.

Blow The Damn Thing Up!

Sunday and space stuff……..I have seen some really stupid ideas concerning space……but this one takes the cake…….so glad that our cracker jack scientist removed their heads in time……by now I hope that everyone has heard this story and have an idea or two about the idea……

American military chiefs allegedly devised the secret project, named ‘A Study of Lunar Research Flights’ – or ‘Project A119’ – in the hope that the Soviet Union would be intimidated by viewing the nuclear flash from Earth.

It would give the US a much needed morale boost after the Russians successfully launched Sputnik in 1957, according to physicist Leonard Reiffel, who was involved in the project.

According to the report in The Sun, the US would have used an atom bomb, because a hydrogen bomb would have been too heavy. The planning reportedly included calculations by astronomer Carl Sagan, who was then a young graduate.

Military officials however reportedly abandoned the idea, which would have taken place in 1959, because of fears that it would have an adverse effect on Earth should the explosion fail.

The project documents were kept secret for nearly 45 years, and the US government has never formally confirmed its involvement in the study.

Instead of blowing up the moon, the US intensified and eventually won the Space Race against the Soviet Union, with Neil Armstrong becoming the first man to walk on the moon in July 1969.

Looks like we have had morons in the government for a long time.
