Another Cabinet Meeting, Another Snooze Fest

Donny has once again called all the sycophants together for his weekly injection of an ego boost…..and a weekly injection of bullshit…..but the best part was his thoughts about his Veep….

Sorry, JD Vance—while ridiculing a former vice presidential candidate Tuesday, President Donald Trump seemed to accidentally admit to having an “incompetent” number two.

After barely being able to keep his eyes open during an hours-long Cabinet meeting, Trump appeared to perk up long enough to deliver an incoherent rant about Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

“I think the man’s a grossly incompetent man,” Trump said, referring to Walz. “I thought that from the day I watched JD destroy him in a debate. I was saying, ‘Who was more incompetent? That man or my man?’ I had a man, and he had a man—they were both incompetent.”

Based solely on the structure of Trump’s statement, the president appeared to assert that “that man” and “his man” were “both incompetent.” But surely Trump would go on to clarify what he meant, right? Wrong.

“I had a man and a woman, I thought she was very incompetent too. But now she’s leading the field and I think she’s leading the field in the nomination,” Trump continued.

Setting Trump’s apparent slight aside, his garbled response is not exactly a promising sign for the commander in chief, who appeared to be struggling to stay awake during the meeting. Trump’s comments were incoherent. Who was “he,” and who was “she”? Was the president even actually conscious while he was speaking?

Earlier in the meeting, Trump joked that “generally speaking,” his Cabinet had many “high IQ” members. “A couple of them I’m a little concerned about,” he said, looking around the table.

(newrepublic.com)

The rest of the meeting, 2 hours in all, was a string of Donny napping during the accolades…

With Tuesday’s White House Cabinet meeting chugging past the two-hour mark, President Donald Trump ‘s eyes fluttered and closed. His budget director busied himself doodling a fluffy cloud. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was lucky enough to speak early, but the title on his nameplate was misspelled.

The sleepy, and occasionally slipshod, gathering nonetheless ended with a flurry of news. Trump declared that he didn’t want Somalis in the U.S. and Hegseth cited the “ fog of war ” in defending a follow-up strike on an alleged drug-carrying boat in the Caribbean Sea in September.

The president started things off by noting that it was the last time his Cabinet would gather until 2026. And, though marathon sessions with his top advisers lavishing praise have become a Trump trademark since he returned to the White House, this latest installment felt at times like a holiday break was needed.

Trump offered lengthy opening comments largely rehashing his key previous policy announcements from recent months. He also repeated old grievances, going back to his falsehoods about having won the 2020 election.

Gee I am so glad that incompetency rules this country (sarcasm)…..

Just Another Cabinet Meeting

Just more theater of the absurd.

Yesterday Donny and the merry band of sycophants held their 8th cabinet meeting and it was a doozy….from circumcision to punishing Dems…..a typical Donny pep rally….

President Trump opened a meeting with his Cabinet at the White House on Thursday by speaking about the ceasefire deal and his plans to travel to the Middle East. Trump said that he will be going to Egypt for a signing ceremony and that he has been invited to speak before the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, during the trip, the AP reports. “If they would like me to, I will do it,” Trump said. He said it is a complicated process for the hostages to be released from Gaza, but it will be happening Monday or Tuesday. Trump’s eighth Cabinet meeting lasted around an hour, much shorter than other recent meetings. More:

  • Autism. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reiterated the unproven link between Tylenol and autism at the meeting. He claimed children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, which is because they’re given Tylenol afterward. Kennedy also shared what the Independent calls a “bizarre story” about seeing a video of a woman “saying ‘F Trump’ and gobbling Tylenol.” Trump said vaccines could also play a role in autism, saying, “Obviously, there’s something, there’s something that’s artificially, I think, induced, something, whether it’s the vaccines, in terms of these massive vaccines,” per NBC News, which notes that the theory of a link has been debunked.
  • Chicago, Portland buildings for ICE. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said her department is buying buildings in Chicago and Portland for use in immigration enforcement operations, NBC reports. “We’re purchasing more buildings in Chicago to operate out of. We’re going to not back off,” she said. “In fact, we’re doubling down, and we’re going to be in more parts of Chicago in response to the people there.”
  • Shutdown cuts. Trump said only “Democrat programs” would be cut in response to the government shutdown, the Guardian reports. “We will be making cuts that are permanent and we’re only going to cut Democrat programs, I hate to tell you,” he said. “We’ll be cutting some very popular Democrat programs that aren’t popular with Republicans, frankly, that’s the way it works.”
  • A notable absence. One person who was not present at the president’s Cabinet meeting on Thursday was Mike Waltz, the newly confirmed US ambassador to the United Nations. That’s because the White House has decided that the job will not be a Cabinet-rank position, as it was during the Biden administration, the AP reports, citing two congressional officials familiar with the matter.

Let me ask here….if Chicago is such an awful place to live why was it voted the best big city in America by Conde-Nast the travel magazine?

Can you see why I call this a Sh*t Show or a Clown Show?

RFK, Jr is a joke onto itself…..but then all his cabinet members are jokes.

These bozos get sillier with every meeting….but what can you expect when the whole ‘show’ is staffed by incompetent pricks?

Always A Class Act

I wish I could say that about people in the Trump Administration….but I just cannot without crossing my fingers behind my back.

The latest ‘class act’ comes from Donny’s Sec of Treasury…..

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent may come off as a low-key guy in public, but he’s apparently got an ornery side in private. Earlier this year, he got into a heated clash with Elon Musk at the White House. Now, Politico reports on a new confrontation, this time with another top economic official: federal housing agency director Bill Pulte. At a swanky private dinner with other bigwigs and donors, Bessent confronted Pulte and accused him of bad-mouthing him to the president, writes Rachel Bade. (President Trump wasn’t at the dinner.)

“I’m gonna punch you in your f—ing face,” the story quotes Bessent as saying. When a third party intervened, Bessent suggested to Pulte that they go outside so Bessent could “f—ing beat your a–.” In the end, they didn’t go outside, and the evening proceeded without fisticuffs and the men at opposite ends of the room.

  • “Maybe switch to decaf?” snarks Washingtonian magazine.
  • “Scott Bessent Really Wants to Beat Up His Co-workers” is the headline on a piece in New York about the argument. For the record, the magazine thinks the 63-year-old Bessent would best the 37-year-old Pulte because he has “the advantage of a longer reach and the fire in his belly to wreck his co-workers.”
  • Pulte may be best known for leading the push to oust Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook.

Now that is a class act.

Here’s an idea…..let these macho pricks get in a ring and duke it out and make it pay-per-view…..would help solve a bit of our deficit problem.

Just a thought.

Ass Kissing At Its Best

We know that Little Donny hates people that criticize him and adores the ass kissing done at his cabinet meetings just like the Stalinists of old.

He has the ‘North Korean” model of leadership in full bloom…..even to the point of a huge banner hung at the Dept of Labor with is mug on it.

On the same day that Donald Trump said many Americans yearn for a dictatorship, his administration took a page from the book of dictators everywhere and unfurled a giant banner of the president’s face on the facade of the Department of Labor.

The banner, which features Trump’s steely second inaugural portrait, as well as the logo for Trump’s America 250 programming and the motto “American Workers First,” currently drapes over the windows of three stories of the building, according to photos posted online. Beside it are an American flag and a portrait of Theodore Roosevelt with the same text.

The department on which the banner hangs, under Trump, has undergone drastic cuts and pursued an agenda hostile to unions and workers.

Remarkably, this is not the first time a government building has displayed Trump’s visage. A banner with the same Trump presidential portrait, alongside one of Abraham Lincoln, was hung on the Department of Agriculture building in the spring, drawing comparisons to Saddam Hussein and Kim Jong Un.

https://newrepublic.com/post/199561/trump-dictator-banner-face-labor-department

Then there was most recent cabinet meeting….you know when the heads of departments meet to talk over the programs and policies needed to move this country forward….well that is what they use to be for but now it is a meeting of sycophants trying to out kiss Clueless Leader’s ass….

President Donald Trump’s personally appointed sycophants were not so subtle in their sucking up to him during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday afternoon.

In an introduction described as being akin to North Korean state TV, Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer invited Trump to travel to the Department of Labor and see his “big, beautiful face” on a massive banner she had hung from it.

“If you all haven’t stopped by the Department of Labor, Mr. President, I invite you to see your big, beautiful face on a banner in front of the Department of Labor, because you are really the transformational president of the American worker,” she said.

Chavez-DeRemer, 57, also praised the president for his takeover of the nation’s capital. She claimed that it allows businesses to remain open and protect their workers, despite local leaders expressing fear the crackdown will be bad for business.

Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, made sure that Chavez-DeRemer did not run away with the Gold in Tuesday’s suck-up Olympics. He took things a step further to claim that Trump, who has deployed the U.S. Military against their fellow citizens, is the most deserving candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize in its 124-year history.

All this in true dictator style and yet few notice….it is disgusting just how docile Americans have become.

How did this all come about….the mentally challenged running the country?

How to explain the rise of so many incompetent and unprincipled people?

Easy. They could never succeed on their own merits. As soon as their incompetence became apparent – which was likely to be as soon as they took the first job that required some degree of intelligence and integrity – they were fired.

So they learned that to be rewarded with promotions, money and power, they cannot rely on the normal processes and systems of recognition for jobs well done. If they’re to make anything of themselves, they must instead become ass-lickers, lap dogs and sycophants.

They must latch on to someone who values loyalty above integrity or competence, someone for whom fawning obsequiousness is the most important criterion for being hired and promoted, ideally someone who cannot tell the difference between a groveling toady and a knowledgeable adviser.

Enter Trump.

This country would not exist if the Founders had been a bunch of docile cowards.

Just a little something to think about.

Welcome To The ‘Love In’

In Donny’s cabinet meeting after his first 100 days in office was yesterday and these meetings are usually about departments point out problems and offering solutions and discussion would ensue….that would be the usual tact of doings….but that is not a Donny cabinet meeting here he wants his praise and that is all that is important….and he was not disappointed….

In a two-hour game of one-upmanship at the White House on Wednesday, top Cabinet officials took turns drenching President Trump with praise that went beyond even the usual levels of adulation. Near the end of the marathon meeting, Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that the US has brought home 47 wrongfully detained Americans so far in Trump’s second term. “Forty-seven for the 47th president in the first 100 days,” Rubio said. “And that’s all credit to you, Mr. President.”

  • Earlier in the session, Vice President JD Vance mused that “most” of the presidents whose portraits adorn the Oval Office—who include Ronald Reagan, James Madison, George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln — were mere “placeholders” who weren’t “men of action,” the AP reports.
  • Energy Secretary Doug Burgum observed that Trump was “not just courageous, you’re actually fearless” in taking on issues that other presidents dare not touch. “All of us can sprint, because you’re running ahead,” Burgum said.
  • The president assembled his Cabinet to celebrate the 100-day mark of his second term, and Trump opened by noting that “things are happening that are amazing, but I would not say it if it weren’t fact.” From there, the president let others do the talking.
  • Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed that Trump in his second term saved “258 million lives” due to the amount of fentanyl that his Justice Department has taken off the streets. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. thanked the president for “your vision and leadership, for giving me the 100 busiest days of my life.”
  • “I just want to say thank you, as a veteran of our military, for assembling what is the greatest national security team that I have ever seen in my 27 years associated with the United States Army,” said Lee Zeldin, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.
  • the praise wasn’t devoted just to the commander-in-chief. As Burgum spoke, he noted the “amazing group of people around the table” and added a quick aside to Trump: “You probably assembled the greatest Cabinet ever.”
  • During the meeting, Trump told Elon Musk he was invited to stay in his administration indefinitely. Trump said Musk had been “treated unfairly” for his role in helping Trump slash the size and scope of the federal government. “You really have sacrificed a lot,” he said. Musk, who wore a Gulf of America hat on top of a DOGE hat, also praised Trump, the Washington Examinerreports. “A tremendous amount has been accomplished in the first 100 days,” he said. “As everyone has said, it’s more than has been accomplished in any administration before ever, period.”

The economy sucks, we are fighting wars all over the world, the government is at a virtual standstill and this is what is important…..unqualified tools sucking up to an idiot to keep their lucrative jobs.

What a pack of brown nose pukes!  Cheese eating cocks*ckers!

There are real problems with this country that need addressing and instead we get a ‘lovefest’….This display is petty and pathetic.

Can you now visualize why I call this ‘team’ of unqualified clowns a Sh*t Show?

I am not worried about my future….are you?

What say you?

First Meeting Of The ‘Minds’

Yesterday was the very first cabinet meeting for the new administration….and this is how it went…

President Trump held his first Cabinet meeting of his second term on Tuesday—and a lot of the talking was done by somebody who wasn’t seated at the table. Trump asked Elon Musk, who is not an official Cabinet member, to discuss his work with DOGE. “Is anyone unhappy with Elon? If you are, we’ll throw them out of here,” Trump joked, per the Wall Street Journal. More:

  • DOGE. Trump praised Musk’s email asking federal workers to justify their jobs, which some agency chiefs have resisted. Musk described it as a “pulse check,” not a performance review, and said the email was sent with the president’s approval, the New York Times reports. Musk praised Trump for putting together the “best Cabinet ever.” The Times reports that Musk, who said he was confident he could cut $1 trillion from the federal budget, dominated the first part of the meeting. Trump later discussed a wide range of subjects.
  • Ukraine. Trump opened the meeting by confirming that Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the White House on Friday to sign a deal involving Ukrainian minerals and other resources. He later said that the deal would not include security guarantees, the Guardian reports. He said Vladimir Putin would have to make some concessions, but Ukraine should “forget about” joining NATO. “I think that’s probably the reason the whole thing started,” he said.
  • Tariffs. Trump said he plans to hit the European Union with 25% tariffs on the import of cars, among other goods, the Times reports. “The European Union was formed in order to screw the United States,” he said. Trump also criticized Canada, saying, “Without us, Canada can’t make it. I say Canada should be our 51st state.”
  • Measles. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nation’s top health official, was asked about the death of a child in the Texas measles outbreak. He described the outbreak as “not unusual” and said his agency is “watching” the outbreak, without providing specifics, the AP reports.
  • Afghanistan. Trump said all the generals involved in the US withdrawal from Afghanistan should be fired, the Hill reports. “I’m not going to tell this man what to do, but I will say that if I had his place, I’d fire every single one of them,” he said, gesturing to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Hegseth said the Pentagon is conducting a “complete review.”

Now after reading this short summary you can see why I enclosed the word minds thusly…..

The tariff thing is interesting soon the whole world will be under a Trump tariff and things will get expensive and out of reach for most Americans….but maybe that is the plan all along.

Stop Calling For Unity!

For decades the magic term in DC has been bi-partisanship or more comically called ‘compromise’…..and to this day there are some mindless dweebs that are still calling for and believing in this ‘unity’.

Trump’s possible candidate for AG has made it clear what will not happen after this past election.  (I know Gaetz is gone Bondi is in….I wrote this draft before he withdrew)

Mike Davis, a Republican lawyer and former Senate aide whose name has repeatedly come up as a potential attorney general in the next Trump administration, seems bent on revenge against Democrats even after the former president’s big win Tuesday night.

“Here’s my current mood,” Davis wrote on X Wednesday morning. “I want to drag their dead political bodies through the streets, burn them, and throw them off the wall. (Legally, politically, and financially, of course.)“

In the past, Davis has said he wants to imprison journalists in “gulags,” though the line between what Davis calls “trolling” and his earnest dialogue sometimes isn’t easily discernible, as a Politico profile from September noted.

In any event, Davis‘ string of posts following Trump’s win made no mention of taking the “high road,” so to speak.

“F— unity. We have the votes. And they tried to kill Trump,” he wrote in another post minutes earlier, making an overly broad reference to “they.”

His statements pretty much sums up the hatred that is ruling over the government and its cogs.

Now for the Democrats….for decades they have embraced the stupidity the bi-partisanship was the way to govern…..now how has that worked out?

This last election their base went the way of the dodo….

One of the focal points of Harris’ campaign was her outreach to women voters. She made this election about freedom for women to make decisions about their own bodies and reproductive health.

And while this message did resonate with many women – in particular younger women – it didn’t with others. According to exit polls by the Associated Press, 47% of women over the age of 45 voted for Trump, as well as 43% of women aged 18-44. More than half of white women overall also voted for Trump (53%).

Exit polls by CNN also found that while Harris did better than Hillary Clinton in 2016 with white women with college degrees, white women without degrees overwhelmingly supported Trump.

This says a lot about the decisions that some women made in the election. It seems possible that what Trump was able to do was give these women enough wiggle room to reconcile what might seem to be otherwise irreconcilable. For instance, they could perhaps believe that Trump wouldn’t actually implement a national abortion ban, simply because he has said he would not. Or they may simply believe that Trump’s policies wouldn’t necessarily apply to them.

https://theconversation.com/why-did-white-women-and-the-democratic-base-abandon-kamala-harris-my-view-from-the-campaign-trail-243136

Democrats need a new plan…this centrist BS has gotten them nowhere and has done little for the people that voted for them.

They whisper and shout a lot about the wealth inequality during campaigns and have little plan after they lose….

America has gone through many ups and downs since the civil rights era, but one thing has remained remarkably constant: In 1970, 12.6 percent of Americans were considered poor; in 2023, that number was 11.1 percent — or 36.8 million people. “To graph the share of Americans living in poverty over the past half-century amounts to drawing a line that resembles gently rolling hills,” the sociologist Matthew Desmond wrote last year.

It might seem as though the persistence of poverty in the United States says something about how intractable the problem is. This is, after all, the richest country in the world. If America can’t rid itself of poverty, then who can? But it’s not that America can’t do it; it’s that it chooses not to.

That said, there isn’t a single answer to why so many Americans continue to be stuck in poverty. It is true, for example, that the American welfare system is broken, consistently undermined, and, in some cases, set up to fail. Studies have shown that programs like work requirements don’t work, and states have been caught hoarding billions of dollars worth of welfare funds instead of distributing them among the people they’re intended for.

https://www.vox.com/policy/374488/ending-poverty-america-policy-choice

Dems need a new plan….but that would mean going against the hand that feeds them, special interests, and if history since 1992 has taught anything is that they will not go against the powers that control the party.

So they will continue to offer platitudes and the GOP will continue winning elections.

We need a new party, a progressive party, that has the best interests in the people of this country and not the profits of the corporations.

This may be wishful thinking and as long as stupidity reigns there will be no change.

The party will not move forward without change.

Hegseth? Rubio? Gabbard? WTF?

This series I am writing is letting the less informed of what they are getting for their vote…..

Trump is proving that he has no intention of trying to make America great again but the silly nominations that he is putting forth……especially when it comes to foreign policy.

Hegseth for Secretary of War….a person with limited experience other than he was in the military….I was also in the military does that make me eligible for the position?

Little Marco Rubio as SecState….another bad choice…..he is a China hawk…..and a Iran Hawk…..is an agent for defense industry and AIPAC…none of which will make him a good SecState….

Of all Trump’s choices for his foreign policy team, Marco Rubio is the least controversial to the neoconservative foreign policy establishment in Washington, and the most certain to provide continuity with all that is wrong with U.S. foreign policy, from Cuba to the Middle East to China.

The only area where there might be some hope for ending a war is Ukraine, where Rubio has come close to Donald Trump’s position, praising Ukraine for standing up to Russia, but recognizing that the U.S. is funding a deadly “stalemate war” that needs to be “brought to a conclusion.”

But in all the other hot spots around the world, Rubio is likely to make conflicts even hotter, or start new ones.

Then DNI, Gabbard….why?

Can some explain these choices?

Here are a few theories on his choices….

What do card sharks, magicians, pickpockets, and tyrants do to hide their tricks? They deflect your attention. “Look over here!” they say, as they create a commotion that preoccupies your mind while they bamboozle you.

At first, I thought Trump’s gonzo nominations were intended to flood the zone — overwhelm us, demoralize us, cause us to lose our minds.

Alternatively, I thought, they had a strategic purpose: Smoke out Senate Republicans who might stand in Trump’s way on other issues — such as allying with Putin and destroying NATO — so Trump could purge the holdouts through primary challengers and angry MAGAs.

But while flooding the zone and purging recalcitrant Senate Republicans may be part of it, I’ve come to think there’s a larger plan at work.

https://www.alternet.org/card-game-tricks-and-trumps/

This another theory on these historically bad choices for cabinet members….

“Each of them individually is historically bad,” said Snyder. “But taken together, these are not people who are going to be bad at their jobs in some sort of normal sense. Taken together, these appointments suggest an attempt to actually make the American government dysfunctional, to make it fall apart, to pervert it, to have it do things that it’s not supposed to do until it’s not capable of doing anything at all.”

For instance, Trump’s choice for director of national intelligence, former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, regularly amplifies Russian propaganda and conspiracy theories. Her role would have her oversee 18 intelligence agencies, but critics—even in the House Intelligence Committee—have drawn attention to the danger of her nomination considering her particular affinity for foreign dictators such as Syrian President Bashar Al Assad and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Responding to a clip of Gabbard from February 2022—shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine—in which the former Democrat claimed that Ukraine should “embrace the spirit of Aloha” and relinquish any military alliances with NATO or Russia, Snyder argued that “it’s not just that these people are not qualified enough.”

“It’s not just that they’re totally unqualified, it’s that they’re anti-qualified. They are qualified to do the opposite of the thing that they are supposed to do,” Snyder said.

“Tulsi Gabbard is talking about a moment when Russian forces are approaching the Ukrainian capital. When Russian assassination squads are attempting to kill the Ukrainian head of state, and she’s advising people that all we have to do is summon up a magic word, and in effect surrender all of Ukraine to Russia,” Snyder continued. “And it’s not naïve. It sounds naïve but it’s not. What it’s doing is trying to prepare the way for more Ukrainian suffering. It’s saying, he who invades is right.”

(newrepublic.com)

You may not care and that is your choice but I believe that you should if you care anything about this country.

Will these tools be any help?

Will these tools get us into international hot water?

Since I am a nerd for foreign policy I would like a deeper dive in his choices…..

Mythology has always played a central role in American politics and once a falsehood is sculpted, the premise becomes very difficult to break.

When it comes to Donald Trump, one of the most prevalent fabrications surrounds the 45th [and now also the 47th] president’s war record. According to many MAGA loyalists, Trump is significantly less hawkish than the presidents who’ve served before and after his time in the White House. This lie is so widespread that even many of those who openly oppose the president feel the need to partake in this ill-placed and undeserved praise.

Any notion that Trump was a peace-seeking commander-in-chief who spent his time in the Oval Office fighting America’s war machine is a fantasy coated in convenient omissions, blatant lies, and wishful thinking.

Anyone still unconvinced by his record should consider some of the cabinet picks Trump’s floated since winning re-election. Although only a few nominations have been announced, the names that Trump’s transition team has publicized should serve as a solid indicator of what foreign policy in a second Trump term will look like. Just as he did the first time around, Trump appears to be filling his administration with a slate of neocons with some rather disturbing views about the US government’s role in the world.

The “Council Of Useful Idiots”

That is what I have entitled the cabinet picks that trump has nominated….because so far I do not see any of his picks as actually qualified for the positions they will be thrust into…..

But that is just me….I guess a better term would be….kakistocracy.

(I could pause here for a dash to Google or I could just skip to the definition….I will do that)

The simple definition….a government that is ruled by the least suitable, able, or experienced people in a state or country…….Kakistocracies are governments ruled by the stupid and ignorant.

Wikipedia has the term defined as….A kakistocracy (/kækɪˈstɒkrəsi/, /kækɪsˈtɒ-/) is a government run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens. The word was coined as early as the seventeenth century. Peter Bowler has noted in his book that there is no word for the government run by the best citizens,] and that the aristarchy may be the right term, but still, it could conceivably be a kakistocracy disguised as an aristocracy.

Let me explain why I use the term…..

Since President-elect Donald Trump’s victory last week, a singular word has been dominating liberal circles online: kakistocracy.

A kakistocracy means a government run by the worst or least competent people.

The term has been used to describe a range of past and present governments, including Russian President Vladimir Putin’s government, Iranian leadership, and others.

And it’s not the first term the term has entered the public conscience in the U.S. either.

It was used by critics to attack both the Reagan and Obama administrations and became a popular adjective during Trump’s first term as president.

Other liberals and Trump critics have similarly begun circulating the word online as Trump’s cabinet picks fall into place.

Among the recently announced nominations drawing ‘least competent’ comparisons are former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence; newly resigned Rep. Matt Gaetz for Attorney General; Fox News host Pete Hegseth for Defense Secretary; and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) for Homeland Security Secretary.

“Kakistocracy is right,” wrote one person Wednesday.

“There are still people telling us it won’t be that bad. Yes, it will be,” claimed one person Wednesday night. “We must put all of our attention, energy and effort into resisting every action of this fascist kakistocracy.”

(dailydot.com

This is an ugly word that should be used carefully….however in the case of the Trump cabinet nominees it is my opinion that it is right on the money this time.

There is the possibility that one or more of Trump’s choices could be a diamond in disguise….but from past antics from these people I do not foresee that as possible.

I could be mistaken and I will be watching and writing.

RFK, Jr To HHS

The newest addition to the Trump cabinet or as I call it the Council of Useful Idiots, will be the anti-vaxxer RFK, Jr.

Be prepared for more health disasters and assaults on Medicare and dangerous food…..but the biggest problem I see is like some many of Trump’s nominees RFK,Jr has NO credentials to run the office of HHS

But I digress.

President-elect Trump continued his stream of controversial Cabinet appointments on Thursday, saying he was “thrilled” to announce that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be his nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

  • “For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health,” Trump said in a statement on Truth Social. “The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country. Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!”
  • If he is confirmed, Kennedy, a longtime vaccine skeptic, will lead a massive agency that “oversees everything from drug, vaccine, and food safety to medical research and the social safety net programs Medicare and Medicaid,” the AP reports. After Kennedy dropped his independent presidential campaign and gave Trump his endorsement, Trump said he would let Kennedy “go wild” on health policy. Republican Sen. John Cornyn said Kennedy would be treated like any other nominee during the confirmation process, Politico reports. Asked if some of Kennedy’s positions, including his claims that vaccines cause autism, would be a problem, Cornyn said, “I’m sure it will come up.”

So far the Council of Useful Idiots is made up of boot lickers and ass kissers….what a great cabinet we will have.
