Did Ukraine Poke Donny In The Eye?

After weeks of back and forth and Donny putting in his two cents worth (mostly in favor of the Russian point of view) Zelensky has crapped on Donny’s attempt to a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia….

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made clear on Monday that Ukraine will not give up any territory to Russia, firmly rejecting a central demand from Moscow that has been echoed in President Trump’s latest peace proposal. Zelensky made the statement after meeting with leaders of Britain, France, and Germany in London, the Washington Post reports. The development could signal the end of Trump’s proposal, which has been criticized as basically reflecting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s wish list.

“Under our laws, under international law—and under moral law—we have no right to give anything away,” Zelensky said. “That is what we are fighting for.” Trump’s plan reportedly includes provisions that would bar Ukraine from joining NATO and grant Russia control over portions of Ukraine it does not occupy now. Ukraine and its European allies have argued the plan is too favorable to Russia and lacks sufficient security guarantees for Ukraine. Zelensky said Ukraine is receptive to a deal, telling reporters that “explicitly anti-Ukrainian provisions” have been removed from Trump’s plan.

Trump was critical of Zelensky over the weekend for not having already agreed to his plan, and European leaders backed up Ukraine’s president on Monday. “We stand with Ukraine,” UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, per the Hill. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron also went to London. The group has been united in saying Russia should not benefit from new international boundaries imposed by force, per the Post. Putin makes the illegal case that Russia has annexed four regions of Ukraine, as well as Crimea, which it took over a decade ago. Russian forces have occupied nearly that much land during the war on Ukraine.

May I see a show of hands…..how many of you thought Donny could pull this off?

Personally I thought he was peeing in his chili…..

Oh well shall he try again?

Oops! They Are At It Again

Remember a few m0onths back when Thailand and Cambodia are at each other’s throat and supposedly Donny intervened and a ceasefire was established between the two….and one of the prime ministers even nominated Donny for the Peace Prize because he helped end the conflict….hold the phone!

Thailand launched airstrikes along the disputed border with Cambodia on Monday as both sides accused the other of breaking a ceasefire that halted fighting earlier this year, the AP reports. Longstanding border disputes erupted into five days of combat in July that killed dozens of soldiers and civilians. US President Trump pushed the Southeast Asian neighbors to sign a truce agreement in October, but tensions have continued to simmer. The Thai ministry of defense said that more than 35,000 people have left areas near the border for shelters and more are believed to have fled to stay with relatives elsewhere, while Cambodia’s Information Minister Neth Pheaktra said that residents of several villages near the border have been evacuated.

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said in a televised speech that military operations would be carried out as necessary to defend the country and protect public safety. “Thailand has never wished for violence. I’d like to reiterate that Thailand has never initiated a fight or an invasion, but will never tolerate a violation of its sovereignty,” he said. The ceasefire was strained in early November after Thai troops were injured by land mines, leading Thailand to announce that it would indefinitely suspend implementation of the agreement. Both sides continue to trade accusations over responsibility, even as they are supposed to be cooperating in getting rid of the mines.

Well it looks like smooth talking Donny can smooth over this old grudge and the PR ceasefire he brokered has gone by the way of a cow turd….the sh*t has hit the road….again.

Seems nothing Donny harps on has much of a shelf life.

Ukraine Back In The News

AS this year draws to a conclusion and all the work being done with the conflict….is there any hope of some sort of deal before Christmas….a Christmas miracle if you will.

Some say we are closing in on a deal….but how many times have we heard that particular piece of manure?

Ukrainian officials made significant changes to a US-drafted peace deal during negotiations with their US counterparts in Geneva on Sunday, The Guardian has reported.

The original 28-point plan leaked to the media was substantially altered during the talks, led by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the US side and Andriy Yermak, a senior aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, on the Ukrainian side, and was reduced to 19 points.

“As of now, after Geneva, there are fewer points, no longer 28, and many correct elements have been incorporated into this framework,” Zelensky said on Monday.

It’s unclear exactly what changes were made to the plan, but the main objections from Ukrainian officials and their European backers were the provisions requiring Ukraine to cede territory it controls in the Donbas to Russia and the guarantees that Ukraine won’t ever join NATO.

According to a report from the Financial Times, the US and Ukrainian officials left the most sensitive details, including territorial lines and Ukraine’s relationship with NATO, to be decided by Zelensky and President Trump, who are expected to meet soon.

(antiwar.com)

Ukraine will head to DC to meet with what-his-name soon…..according to reports….

It looks like a deal to end the Russia-Ukraine war is genuinely close—at least on Ukraine’s end. CBS News and the BBC report that Ukraine has agreed in principle to a US-brokered peace deal after lengthy talks. The development comes after the US and Ukraine “significantly changed” the original 28-point plan, which was widely seen as favorable to Russia, per the Washington Post. The question now is whether Moscow will accept the new terms. No details were released on the latest version of the peace plan, particularly on the thorniest issue of all: territorial concessions.

However, “many of the controversial provisions were either softened or at least reshaped,” Oleksandr Bevz, part of the Ukrainian team, tells the Post. A US official tells CBS that “there are some minor details to be sorted out, but they have agreed to a peace deal,” referring to Ukraine. Meanwhile, US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll is reportedly in Abu Dhabi to meet with Russian officials about the deal.

Of course his majesty has to weigh in…..

President Trump announced Tuesday that his administration has made significant progress toward a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, with only “a few remaining points of disagreement” to be resolved. Trump said he has dispatched special envoy Steve Witkoff to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, while Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll will meet separately with Ukrainian officials, CNN reports. Trump indicated he may meet with both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but only when a deal is nearly finalized.

  • “I will be briefed on all progress made, along with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “I look forward to hopefully meeting with President Zelenskyy and President Putin soon, but ONLY when the deal to end this War is FINAL or, in its final stages.”

Trump highlighted the progress on a US-drafted 28-point peace plan, which he said has been “fine-tuned, with additional input from both sides.” “I think we’re getting very close to a deal. We’ll find out,” Trump said during the White House turkey pardon on Tuesday, per the AP. “I thought that would have been an easier one, but I think we’re making progress,” he said. One key sticking point appears to be Ukraine’s potential NATO membership, a demand the initial proposal asked Ukraine to abandon.

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told CNN that Ukraine may need to signal it won’t seek NATO membership for now but warned that peace should not come “through surrender.” He said Ukraine will join the European Union instead, “which probably makes more sense at this point.” Ukrainian officials have called the NATO demand unacceptable, though Panetta believes a workable compromise is possible.

  • Zelensky, for his part, said his country’s negotiating team is making progress but that Russia’s war against Ukraine continues. “Every day, Russia kills our people on the front lines and attacks our cities and energy infrastructure,” he said in a post on X after at least seven people were killed in strikes on Kyiv.
  • European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and French President Emmanuel Macron echoed concerns about Russia’s intentions, with Macron accusing Moscow of “pretending it wanted peace” while continuing attacks.
  • Russia, meanwhile, signaled that it might resist changes to the plan, with foreign minister Sergey Lavrov saying it would be a “fundamentally different situation” if the changes “erased” the agreements made during Trump’s summit with Putin in Alaska, New York Times reports.

I hope that they are truly finding a path to end this conflict….but we have heard too many times that a deal was close…..so please forgive me if I await a signed deal before I give anyone an ‘ata boy’….

This Ukraine Thing…..

Russia/Ukraine conflict has been going on for years and just last year we were promised if Donald the Orange was elected he would end it on Day One….

Now we had a deal brewing to end it and Donny was all a tither about his plan….then over the weekend things went from thumbs up to in the crapper….or so the story goes.

American and Ukrainian officials met in Geneva on Sunday to discuss a new draft of the US proposal to end the war on Ukraine, while President Trump criticized Ukraine and his administration pushed back against charges that it’s really Russia’s plan. At the talks, Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters that progress had been made, the Washington Post reports. “We’ve had probably the most productive and meaningful meeting so far in this entire process,” he said, adding that changes have been made to the plan. Despite the president’s earlier complaint, Rubio said Trump is now pleased with the way the talks are going, per the BBC. Developments include:

  • Trump’s post: As the talks began, Trump reissued a criticism of Ukraine’s leaders, per the New York Times, posting in all caps that “Ukraine’s ‘leadership’ has expressed zero gratitude for our efforts.” He also criticized Joe Biden and European nations, but not Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky answered a few hours later, posting, “We are grateful for everything that America and President Trump are doing for security, and we keep working as constructively as possible.”
  • Russia’s role: Ukraine was not involved in drafting the plan presented by the US, but there are accusations that Russia was. A group of senators who were in Canada for a security conference on Saturday said Rubio had told them on the phone that the drafting of the plan was not led by the US, per the AP. “It is essentially the wish list of the Russians,” Independent Sen. Angus King said. Republican Sen. Mike Rounds, who also was on the call, said: “It is not our recommendation. It is not our peace plan.”
  • Administration answers: “The peace proposal was authored by the US. It is offered as a strong framework for ongoing negotiations,” Rubio posted later on X. A State Department spokesman called the senators’ account “blatantly false,” and White House officials said the plan “was authored by the United States, with input from both the Russians and Ukrainians.”
  • Democratic opposition: Sen. Mark Warner ripped the Trump plan on ABC News’ This Week, saying that it looks like a list of “Russian talking points,” per the Post. “It would make Neville Chamberlain’s giving in to Hitler—the outset of World War II—look strong in comparison,” he added, per the Hill. The US plan reportedly would require Ukraine to reduce its military, surrender territory, and bar NATO troops from the country.
  • Zelensky’s appeal: The president wrote a lengthy social media post that said Russia started the war and refuses to stop it, warning other nations could face its aggression next. In addition to thanking Trump and the American people, Zelensky expressed gratitude to the European and G20 nations that have provided assistance, per the BBC. He then added: “It is important not to forget the main goal—to stop Russia’s war and prevent it from ever igniting again. And to achieve that, peace must be dignified.”

So Day One slipping away yet again…..

But not to worry the meetings will go on….and on…..and on….

What’s The Secret?

The news has broken that the US and Russia are in secret meeting hammering out a ceasefire deal for Ukraine….

The Trump administration has been secretly collaborating with Russia on a new peace plan to end the war in Ukraine, according to officials from both countries who spoke to Axios. The proposed plan, which consists of 28 points, is said to be inspired by the Gaza peace deal brokered by President Trump. It covers four main areas: peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, broader European security, and the future of US relations with both Russia and Ukraine, according to Axios’ sources. They say Ukraine has not been involved in the negotiations.

The details on how the plan addresses issues such as who controls what territory in eastern Ukraine remain unclear, especially as Russian forces continue to make slow gains in the region. The drafting process is being led by Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, who has spent considerable time in discussions with Russian counterpart Kirill Dmitriev. Dmitriev, who oversees Russia’s sovereign wealth fund and is heavily involved in Ukraine diplomacy, told Axios he spent three days meeting with Witkoff and other Trump team members in Miami in late October.

We expressed optimism about the plan, saying “the Russian position is really being heard” in this round of negotiations. Dmitriev said the US effort is unrelated to a separate, UK-led push for a Gaza-style plan, which Dmitriev dismisses as disregarding Russia’s positions. Witkoff was expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Turkey, but that meeting has been postponed. However, Witkoff did discuss the plan with Zelensky’s national security adviser, Rustem Umerov, in Miami. A Ukrainian official acknowledged awareness of US efforts, saying, “We know the Americans are working on something.”

The White House has begun briefing European officials about the plan and believes there is a realistic chance of garnering support from both Ukraine and its European allies, Axios reports. Sources tell Reuters that the US is pressuring Zelensky to accept the main points of the plan, including giving up territory and reducing the size of the country’s military.

Where is Ukraine in all these meetings?

Say there is a deal will Ukraine honor it?

This is a lame attempt to make Uncle Don look like a statesman…..that ship sailed long ago.

Why is Europe not more involved?

At what point is this a fart in the wind?

Thoughts?

The War May Commence

Donny and his thugs have been attacking boats and killing ‘suspected’ drug runners…..closing in on 20 attacks…..and of course he has thumped his chest and made plans to attack land based installations….the enter Congress to try and stop his insanity and his push for another war we cannot win.

Then the day came and the vote on these plans…..

The Senate narrowly voted down a proposal Thursday that would have required congressional approval before President Trump could launch military operations against Venezuela. The measure, backed largely by Democrats and two Republicans, failed 49-51, marking the second time in a month that lawmakers have tried unsuccessfully to limit the administration’s military actions in Latin America. The resolution was intended to prevent future military moves “within or against” Venezuela as concern has grown that Trump’s anti-cartel campaign could escalate into a broader conflict, Politico reports. “We should not be in war without Congress,” said Sen. Tim Kaine, who introduced the measure, before the vote. The breakdown:

  • Swing votes: Republican Sens. Rand Paul and Lisa Murkowski voted yes, as they did for a similar effort last month. Democratic Sen. John Fetterman switched to supporting the resolution after opposing the previous one. The outcome hinged on a handful of undecided Republicans, with Sen. Susan Collins ultimately voting no, providing the decisive margin.
  • No but skeptical: Several Republican senators had it both ways, voting against the measure but expressing doubts or mild opposition, per the AP. Sen. Todd Young said he’s “troubled by many aspects and assumptions of this operation” and thinks it’s at odds with the views of most Americans who want the US military to be less involved in international conflicts. Sen. Thom Tillis said the money going toward the deployment might be better spent at the US-Mexico border against fentanyl trafficking.
  • Military possibilities: Opponents argued that the administration has the authority to target drug trafficking and dismissed the likelihood of an invasion, despite a significant US military buildup in the Caribbean. Trump has suggested there could be strikes against Venezuelan drug gangs and authorized covert CIA activity in the country. GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham argued that President Nicolás Maduro’s government poses an “existential threat” to the US and supported broad presidential authority.
  • The requirements: The War Powers Resolution of 1973 says the president must halt military operations after 60 days unless there’s an authorization from Congress, though a 30-day extension can be requested. Monday marked 60 days since the administration notified Congress of its first strike on a boat it said was carrying drugs, per the Hill. White House officials contended Monday that Trump doesn’t need Congress’s approval to continue the boat strikes because the attacks do not rise to the level of “hostilities” that would require the authorization from Capitol Hill.
  • Administration lobbying: Ahead of the vote, Trump administration officials shared their legal reasoning with select lawmakers in an effort to maintain Republican support, but frustration over the limited transparency persists. Congressional leaders continue to demand fuller briefings on the administration’s plans and legal justifications.

Oh goody!  Another war that we have to finance and commit our people…..why are these Congresspeople so easily moved to send troops to war?

This is ludicrous…..another war without end….

On The War Front

Donny has threatened so many countries that it is hard to keep up…..but the most ‘popular’ is of course the Venezuela thingy….now Congress is set to intervene (?)….

The Senate is expected to vote on Thursday at 5:00 pm Eastern Time on a bipartisan War Powers Resolution that would block President Trump from attacking Venezuela without congressional authorization, a vote that comes amid reports that he is reviewing several options for starting a war with the country.

The resolution to stop the boat strikes failed in a vote of 48-51, with Sen. Paul and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) being the only Republicans supporting the measure, but the bill to prevent a war with Venezuela may have more GOP support.

POLITICO reported on Wednesday that at least four other Senate Republicans are questioning the legal rationale for the boat strikes, signaling they may support the Venezuela War Powers Resolution. They include Senators Mike Rounds (SD), Todd Young (IN), Susan Collins (ME), and Jerry Moran (KS).

Next is the threat to punish Nigeria for its situations that the dullard is DC do not like…..

First, the self-evident: Despite President Trump’s order that the Pentagon prepare to intervene militarily in Nigeria to protect Christians from attack by Islamic militants, U.S. forces are unlikely to be able to end a decades-long insurgency that has claimed lives across sectarian lines in Africa’s most populous country, military officials say.
The American military cannot do much to quell the violence unless it is willing to start an Iraq- or Afghanistan-style campaign, the officials said, something that no one appears to be seriously contemplating. But they said there were some steps available to American war planners that could have limited impact on the militants.
The Air Force could conduct airstrikes on the few known compounds in northern Nigeria inhabited by militant groups, officials said. American drones like the MQ-9 Reaper and the MQ-1 Predator could attack a few vehicles and even a handful of convoys. And American forces could team up with Nigerian soldiers to raid villages to root out insurgents who have ensconced themselves in rural hamlets in the country’s north.
You know there was a time when some of these situations could be handled by diplomacy….but that was in the past and we know have very little diplomatic clout anymore.
Do we really want to be attacking anyone who displeases Donny and his ragtag band of incompetents?
Just wondering.

Nigeria In The Eye Of A Storm

We know that our Little Donny has aspirations of change in Venezuela to the point that he is willing to kill civilians and start an ugly chapter for the US.

He has even gone so far as to threaten the African nation of Nigeria.

And he is using the persecution of Christians as an excuse for his unsavory behavior.

A day after suggesting Nigeria could face sanctions for allegedly failing to rein in the persecution of Christians in the West African country, President Trump returned to social media to up his threat. He posted Saturday that the US “may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” per the AP, adding, “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action.” Trump had announced Friday that he would designate Nigeria “a country of particular concern” as it relates to religious freedom, a move that had been pushed by some US lawmakers.

The Nigerian government vehemently rejects Trump’s claims, the AP reports, and analysts say that while Christians are among those targeted, the majority of victims of armed groups are Muslims in Nigeria’s Muslim-majority north, where most attacks occur. Trump elevated his warning after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu earlier on Saturday pushed back against designation. “Religious freedom and tolerance have been a core tenet of our collective identity and shall always remain so,” Tinubu posted, saying the protections are guaranteed by Nigeria’s constitution.

Designating a “country of particular concern” under the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act is an executive prerogative that normally follows recommendations from both the congressionally mandated US Commission on International Religious Freedom and the State Department. Nigeria was first placed on the “country of particular concern” list by the US in 2020 in what the State Department called “systematic violations of religious freedom.” However, the designation didn’t single out attacks on Christians. The State Department usually releases its annual “Report on International Religious Freedom” in the spring, but it hasn’t yet done so this year.

Seriously?  To protect Christians?  What about the attacks in Israel by those curly-q thugs lovingly called ‘settlers’ which are no better than a roving band of armed assholes that do not like Christians…..can we expect chastisement by Donny?

Do not count on it.

Just over the weekend…..

Over the weekend, a group of armed Israeli settlers in the West Bank staged an attack on American journalist and Drop Site News contributor Jasper Nathaniel and a group of Palestinians he was accompanying. Footage recorded by Nathaniel, a U.S. citizen, shows more than a dozen masked men chasing him and his group down a dirt road.

Already horrifying, the story soon became even more egregious. When Nathaniel contacted the U.S. Embassy to report the attack, he was told that his own government could not protect him. As independent journalist Jeremy Loffredo—who was recently detained by the IDF for the “crime” of doing journalism without military permission

As Israeli Settlers Attack Americans, When Will We Say ‘Enough’?

And that is the most recent example.

Then what is it about all these ‘attack’ talk….let’s take a look-see….Venezuela–oil, Nigeria–oil….do we need to go any further?

All this bully and simple chest thumping is typical and proves just what a hypocrite and racist this tool is….

The US will be better off when this dick is gone!

Venezuela Day Dreamin’

Donny and the thugs keep attacking small boats that they say are ‘narco-boats’….is this Donny invoking the Monroe Doctrine?  (Hahahahha!)

Who decides which vessels are ‘narco’ and which are not? OPr does anyone decide?

Let’s be honest these tools have no idea who those boats are or what they are up to…..

The Trump administration has made a series of startling admissions about the people it is killing in its undeclared war against suspected drug smugglers in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Trump officials acknowledged in separate briefings provided to lawmakers and staffers on Thursday that they do not know the identities of the victims of their strikes, and that the War Department cannot meet the evidentiary burden necessary to hold or try survivors of the attacks. Such victims who find themselves in the water are now deemed “unprivileged belligerents,” a murky designation under international humanitarian law.

Since September 2, the U.S. military has been attacking boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific Ocean, killing more than 60 civilians. The Trump administration insists the slayings are permissible because the U.S. is engaged in “non-international armed conflict” with “designated terrorist organizations,” or DTOs. Two government officials told The Intercept that the administration secretly declared a “non-international armed conflict” weeks if not months before the first attack of the campaign.

Trump Administration Admits It Doesn’t Know Who Exactly It’s Killing in Boat Strikes

If they have no idea then is not this murder?  Without proof it is in my book.

To make things worse……Hogsbreath has issued his mandate that no one is to talk to Congress about any of this…..

The Office of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has disseminated a broad list of topics that Defense Department personnel are now required to seek prior approval on before engaging with Congress, which includes any and all “sensitive military operations” and US military strikes on suspected drug boats around Latin America, according to people familiar with the latest guidance.

The guidance was handed down following confusion over an initial memo issued by Hegseth that barred all Defense Department personnel, including military commanders, from talking to Congress or state lawmakers unless they have received prior approval from the agency’s office of legislative affairs.

https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/02/politics/hegseth-bars-military-officials-from-discussing-drug-boat-strikes-with-congress-without-prior-approval

Now the Congress is being locked out of the process…..starting to smell fishy.

And now the idiots are thumping their chest like sex crazed primates and planning (?) to strike inland……

President Trump may be about to escalate his fight against Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro in a big way: The Miami Herald, citing unnamed sources, reports that the Trump administration has decided to launch airstrikes against military installations in the country. The White House accuses Maduro of running a drug-trafficking enterprise and says the military facilities identified are used in the smuggling. The Wall Street Journal has a similar report, but it doesn’t go quite as far, asserting that the administration has indeed identified targets but that Trump has not yet decided to hit them.

Any such strikes would be the clearest signal yet from the US that Maduro must step down, per the Journal. “Maduro is about to find himself trapped and might soon discover that he cannot flee the country even if he decided to,” says one of the Herald sources. “What’s worse for him, there is now more than one general willing to capture and hand him over, fully aware that one thing is to talk about death, and another to see it coming.”

The US military presence in the region has grown steadily, with warships, fighter jets, and drones positioned for rapid action. The US has already conducted maritime attacks on suspected drug traffickers, resulting in dozens of deaths, but officials say traffickers are increasingly avoiding sea routes, prompting the shift to potential land strikes.

Prepare For War

I recently read an article that says the Brits have been warned to prepare for all out war in four years….

I post this for I want any of my UK readers to confirm that they have seen this prediction….

The British public should be prepared for “widespread war in Europe” within the next three to four years, military experts have said.

Russia’s increasingly audacious incursions into Eastern Europe risk spilling over into an all-out “hot” conflict that engages Nato, while Vladimir Putin’s current “grey war” activity of sabotage, cyber attacks and disinformation is expected to be “on steroids” before the end of the decade.

The chairman of the UK’s National Preparedness Commission, Lord Harris, told The i Paper that Britain needed to be better prepared, both militarily and across society, for a widespread conflict of this nature happening in the next few years.

This includes stockpiling emergency supplies to be used in the event of a war or major attack on critical national infrastructure, such as water, electricity or transport networks.

Harris, a Labour peer, said Britons needed to prepare for their lives “being changed or likely to be changed in the foreseeable future”, including having 72 hours worth of provisions if there was a major attack on infrastructure or a power cut caused by a hostile state

He suggested that the Government should make its “Prepare” website – which offers advice on readiness for emergencies such as floods and power cuts – more “in your face” and run regular ad campaigns on radio, TV and social media, as well as lessons for schoolchildren.

Britons told to prepare for ‘widespread’ war in Europe within three to four years

Please let me know if you have seen this or have more information than is presented in the article.

Do you believe the prediction?  If so why?

If true then it should have wide ranging implications across the globe.
