An Apology

I wish to apologize to my readers for the troubles with my blog. I am having to deal with WP and for two days I have been trying to get an answer to why my site was locked down.

If I was prone to paranoia I would think that WP is out to get me because I prefer the “Classic Editor’ over their block thing.  Or that opinion on the US massive support for Ukraine….but hopefully neither are the case.

So on this Sunday I have nothing clever to write for I am concerned about the blog that I have been writing for 17 years.

I have gone from frustrated to irritated.

I can say that a ‘Happiness Engineer’ will be in touch….well I am not happy after two days of jumping through hoops to get an answer.

Thanx everyone for bearing with me as I travel down this road with WP….there is only so much I can do until they ‘get back to me’…..whenever that is we all would like to know.

I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to my two closest blogging friends Pete and John who have been concerned and are keeping up to date on trying to access IST….their help has been invaluable.

To everyone else please hang in there….it ain’t over ’til it’s over!

Update:  I am being told that I need to fill out form for a new domain…I have had this one since 2011….what is going on?  I am pretty sure that my ‘happiness engineer’ is an AI bot.

One Eye Willy Update

After 4 days of rest my left eye has returned to almost normal.

This began with me rough housing with the Jack Russel, Sara…..I thought we were finished and she came screaming in when I was not looking and pop me in the left eye with a dirty paw…..lots of trash went into the eye which was very painful and blurry, to say the least.

Today is Monday and my vision is good and Sue has returned my PC and tablet so that I can return to work. I will be trying to catch up on the comments left while I was nursing the eye.

Drafts I had saved were a godsend for I could post without much to do.

I want to thank all those readers that have offered words of encouragement and their patience while I recover….your comments will be answered as slowly as I can muster.

Hopefully this incident is come to a close and I can return to doing what I truly love….research and writing.

Thanx again for your help and understanding….please know that I appreciate one and all.

I want to apologize for my abscence.

I have injured my left eye and have been told to limit my computer time until it has healed. I will try to get caught up as soon as I can.

I will post drafts until I am better….thanx for your understanding and I will try to get back as soon as possible.

Actually I have been blogging for about 17 years….I started with another platform on December of 2006 and after awhile I switched to WP and have been happy with my choice.

I want thank the many readers that have made this a wonderful run and some wonderful comments.

Hopefully we will have another 15 years of enjoyment and exchanges.

Closing Thought–17Sep21

I will be slowing down in my posting….family issues that I have been dealing with will be coming to a head……so I will be using saved drafts for the next few days maybe even weeks until the situation is solved…..I will be visiting my blog and replying to any and all comments…..I will also visit my usual sites.

Plus the news is depressing as Hell and too damn redundant….I have had enough of Covid and California and Texas…..this will not change until Dems learn the game of politics and play it with gusto.

Please bear with me…I am going nowhere just stepping back from the daily grind……to get some much needed mental cleansing.

Closing Thought–29Jul20

Once again there will be a limited amount of post…..drafts that I have saved will have to do….I apologize but eye surgery early today.

Surgery on Right eye went well…..doctor s pleased with the progress…..now today he will do the Left eye.

I am apprehensive about another surgery on yet another eye.  But Having to deal with blurry eye and good eye trying to decide which eye to close…reading is a bother (something that does not sit well with me).

Hopefully I can return to a normal posting schedule after 7 days…..there is so much happening these days and so much I am missing (I hate that)…..

Once again I hope these drafts will meet with your approval….and I appreciate your readership and your bearing with me and my eye stuff.  I promise I will get back to normal as soon as I can…..

Something Different This Week

DC will be a lonely place for the next couple of weeks…..all the spineless slugs are home schmoozing donors out of their cash,,,,Foggy Bottom ought to be a silent place with the exception of the MSM and their rush to drive the news.

It is Christmas week and readership will be down from normal and since I have 40 drafts in waiting….I have decided to spend this week posting the drafts I have written…..some are timely and some are a bit out of date……but of course there is NO rest for the Professor’s Classroom…..that will be on Monday as usual.

Not to worry I will be keeping an eye on the news and if there is anything important I shall suspend my “dump of drafts” to make it known for my readers and visitors.
