“Committed” To “Eliminating”

This illustrates the Israeli mindset perfectly.

AS the war of words continue with Iran BiBi has said (I am sure that Donny agrees) that he is determined to eliminate Iran….

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel was “committed” to “eliminating” the Iranian government and that he spoke about the idea in his recent conversation with President Trump.

According to The Times of Israel, Netanyahu made the comments at the Tel Hai University in Kiryat Shmona near Israel’s border with Lebanon. “I am committed to finishing the job,” he said, referring to Israel’s war in Lebanon.

“Finishing the job means bringing down the terrorist regime in Iran. It is the head of this poisonous octopus. You cut it off, and it will fall. We will also have peace with Lebanon,” he said. “We must complete the elimination of the Iranian regime — that is the primary objective. I have spoken about this with President Trump more than once, including the day before yesterday.”

A day earlier, Netanyahu released part of a phone call he had with President Trump on Sunday, where he thanked the US leader for endorsing him in the upcoming Israeli elections. In Trump’s endorsement message, he suggested that the US may have to “finish the job” against Iran without the help of Israel if Netanyahu doesn’t remain prime minister.

In his conversation with Trump, Netanyahu said that the US and Israel have a “job to finish,” and his comments on Tuesday suggest that means regime change.

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made an unannounced visit to Israel on Monday and met with Netanyahu. The US and Israel have been coordinating closely in the lead-up to the Israeli elections and the US midterm elections, and according to recent reporting from Axios, they have been discussing the possibility of resuming the full-scale bombing campaign against Iran.

This is not something new for BiBi has been lying about Iran for 30 years….if he gets his way who will be next on his ‘hit list’?

Then there is what the soldiers think about this conflict….that is American servicemen….

The poll surveyed 156 people currently serving in the military, 431 veterans, and 144 immediate family members of active-duty service members between September 15 and 28.

Common Defense is a veteran-led group that advocates for progressive policies and endorses Democratic candidates, though a 47% of respondents to their September poll are self-identified Republicans. Nearly 20% identified as “pure independents,” while 35% said they were Democrats.

Though Republicans surveyed in the poll backed Operation Epic Fury at a rate of 77% to 16%, overwhelming opposition among Democrats and independents left respondents opposed to the war overall, 49% to 44%. Veterans were by far the most supportive of the ongoing conflict, with 53% in support and 44% opposing, while active-duty service members opposed it by a 16-point margin and military families by 38 points.

There you have it…..no one but Donny and his throng of babbling morons are the only ones supporting this war.

What will happen after the November election?

Will we return to the stupidity of war or will more logical heads prevail?

Whatcha think?

  1. Polls and surveys mean nothing in the long run. The only thing that matters is that Israel tells Trump to do something, and he does it. If he tells Trump to escalate the war with Iran he will, and then it will be up to the service people to refuse to go and face the consequences, or say nothing and go.

    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Americans and Israelis tend to support their presidents/prime ministers when their countries are at war, an historical fact of which Trump and Netanyahu are certainly aware. Given both are rapidly losing popular support, their likely choice of ordering another criminal bombing campaign against Iranians and blowing up the region becomes completely understandable, but no less repulsive.
