Today is the anniversary of the assault on Nazi Europe…the beginning of the end (so to speak)….
I will forgo my usual News Dump to re-post this story from 6 years ago….I try to remember those that did all they could to end the tyranny that had afflicted the world.
Not to worry the ‘Dump’ will return next Saturday.
Please take some time and read this from a few years ago….and remember our sacrifices to beat the ‘Hun’…..
Not many of the veterans of that day left for us to honor….soon there will be none….but we should make it a national holiday to honor those that participated and some gave their all to end the cancer that had grew in Europe.

We have a few D-Day veterans left, some of them travelled to Normandy to commemorate the landings, and that was shown on the BBC News today. Just ran across just how bad the US has gotten concerning immigration. Was a story in the Milwaukee Journal just the other day. A young couple, refugees, couldn’t bring their new son along to the US because they weren’t sure if they were going to be allowed to stay or find work, etc. so they left him with the grand parents while they tried to get started here. Now they’re doing reasonably well and are trying to bring their now 3 year old son into the US. The 3 year old child’s visa application was denied. Stated reason for the denial was that this 3 year old boy is a “security risk”
Sidenote: According to Mother Jones the only refugees that the US has allowed into the country over the last 6 months are white people, mostly from South Africa. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2026/06/south-africa-white-genocide-afrikaner-refugees-asylum/
That is a sad turn of immigration….and I read about the South African thing before….that is yet more sad policies from this idiot. chuq
