Last Week At The Sh*t Show–08Feb26

It was a typical week at the Sh*t Show…..crap in and crap out….

Big News–Today is Super Bowl 60 and the MAGA morons will have an alt halftime show…..and line-up is….

As announced on its website, the All American Halftime Show will include performances from the likes of Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett – but people haven’t taken the news well.

Ever heard of any of these douche bags?  And will Kid do his song about under-aged girls?

Another big story of the week was still the clusterf*ck in Minneapolis and the documentary about Melania….it opened to mix reviews…..depending on the source.

Then there is the Kennedy Center…..performers have been bailing like a sinking ship so what does Donny do?

It looks as if Donald J. Trump, president of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and also, incidentally, the United States of America, will not have to worry about the latest rage among the artistic set canceling upcoming performances at the nation’s crown jewel of an arts space. That’s because he’s closing the Center himself for the next two years. No Kennedy Center, no performers wounding his fragile ego by loudly pulling out of performances or moving their operas elsewhere. Genius!

Trump made the announcement in a long, ranty post (Is there any other kind for him?) on his vanity social media site Sunday night, at the same moment musical artists at the Grammys were using their awards acceptance speeches to denounce his administration for its Gestapo immigration enforcement tactics. Coincidence? We wouldn’t put it past Trump to purposefully interrupt the music industry’s biggest night to tell any musicians and other artists who have pulled out of shows at the Kennedy: You didn’t cancel on Trump, Trump cancelled on you!

A newly surfaces memo….

A newly surfaced Trump administration memo has been deemed “outrageous,” per an analysis from Bloomberg, for paving the way to turn federal agents into “an all-powerful police force” for the president.

The memo, first reported on by the New York Times, pertains to officers with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and authorizes them to make arrests of anyone they suspect of being undocumented, without the need for a warrant and without providing any proof that the individual is a flight risk. There is something deeply American about the idea of a suffering class.

And then he said the quiet part out loud: “People that own their homes, we’re gonna keep them wealthy. We’re gonna keep those prices up,” he said. “We’re not gonna destroy the value of their homes so that somebody who didn’t work very hard can buy a home.”

The New York Times reports a band of cryptocurrency investors benefiting from President Donald Trump’s lax crypto trading laws have built a 15-foot tall, gold-covered statue of President Trump.

“It’s known as ‘Don Colossus,’ reports the New York Times. “… Mounted on its 7,000-pound pedestal, is about the height of a two-story building — a giant effigy cast in bronze and finished with a thick layer of gold leaf.”

The group of cryptocurrency investors paid a sculptor $300,000 to create it as a tribute to Trump. Then they used it to promote a memecoin called $PATRIOT,” reports the Times. The investors originally wanted the statue to be even taller. Trump and his family have enjoyed a personal windfall from crypto-related enterprises since Trump began wiping away crypto-related regulations.

Finally Uncle Donny has given the go ahead on UFO info…..

The Trump Administration has given the green light to reveal the secret UFO facilities to one of the leading voices in Congress calling for full disclosure of alien life.

US Congressman Eric Burlison of Missouri revealed that he has requested and been granted access to secure locations, such as Area 51, which have decades-old ties to UFOs and secret government projects.

Speaking on the ALN Podcast, Burlison added that the request to President Trump and his staff included visiting US military bases and facilities where evidence suggests unidentified craft, materials, bodies, or archives allegedly exist.

Burlison is a member of the congressional oversight committee involved in the ongoing investigation into Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), commonly known as UFOs.

Although the US government and the Pentagon have officially denied that there has been any physical evidence of UFOs or alien life ever recovered, Congress has heard from multiple whistleblowers claiming secret programs have covered up the truth.

In fact, Burlison has previously claimed President Trump has been ‘fully briefed’ on the existence of aliens, UFOs recovered by the military since the 1940s, and alien-human hybrids allegedly living on Earth today.

  1. I am so glad we live in a place that has one road in and no road anywhere else. I am also glad that we are Old People and will probably not outlive this disaster that is accumulating. I can guarantee if that gold statue ever gets built, constructed, or whatever, many people will suggest that he should not only be the (gag) model, but the template. Under the gilt. He’ll stop talking eventually.

    Then again, it might be interesting to see what unfolds. We do live in the cheap seats here, so it could take some time to find us.

  2. You know, in a weak moment, one could ALMOST feel bad for Trump. He is so TOTALLY insecure that the ONLY way he can feel good about himself is self-promotion. I feel certain that his childhood and upbringing are playing a very big role in his desperate need to “Be Somebody.” But the REALLY sad part is that we the people are the ones who are suffering from his insecurities.

  3. I wonder if any of these rabidly Christian MAGA types have ever actually listened to what Kid Rock actually sings about? He brags about having sex with underaged girls, statutory rape. If you actually listen to the lyrics of his songs he makes Epstein look like a monk.

    Rumor now is that Trump isn’t closing the Kennedy center for “renovations”, he’s going to bulldoze it completely and put up a cheap, tawdry, gilded horror of a performance center named after himself with pictures and statues of the ‘glorious leader’ all over to replace it.

  4. I’m looking forward to the ‘Truth’ about UFOs. That will be ‘Trump’s Truth’, I presume?
    If he gets away with renaming everything and erecting arches and statues, I hope that the next administration renames them, and pulls down all of his statues.
