Trying To Make sense

For year now many people have been trying to make sense of the policies and actions Donny has taken….there have been a wealth of opinions…..but I read one that will make you think….

Donny’s actions start to make sense if one considers this one thing….

It can be hard to work out what might be going through Donald Trump’s head at the best of times, but lately his actions have seemed to be increasingly bizarre and reckless.

However, all of those actions become much easier to understand with one simple perspective shift: Trump knows he is dying, he doesn’t have much time, and he won’t have to face any consequences, at least not in this life.

Trump often doesn’t seem too stressed about consequences, and that’s felt especially true since he won the 2024 election. But over those four years out of office, he came close to facing very real consequences. He was tried and found liable and guilty in both civil and criminal court. It’s not unreasonable to suggest that he was well on his way to being bankrupt, imprisoned, or both. The only thing that saved him was the presidency.

If Trump leaves the White House again, he’ll be at risk of those consequences again, along with all the other ones that he has racked up over the last few months. While Steve Bannon has become the latest supporter of Trump seeking an unconstitutional third term, and Trump still refuses to rule that out, it starts to feel more likely that Trump will avoid walking out of the White House not by changing the Constitution, but by shuffling off his mortal coil while still in residence.

Trump’s health is clearly failing. He’s been seen struggling with stairs and has even mused that Obama was better at navigating them. His cognitive health might well be in decline, and his instances of random word association in public comments appear to be getting worse.

While Trump and his cronies claim that his medical reports generally show that he is in the finest health any person has ever been in, the number of those reports recently should raise an eyebrow. In early October, he had what he called a “semi-annual physical” at the Walter Reed National Medical Center. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed it was a “routine yearly checkup.” The problem is that he already had his annual physical in April.

Like I said many opinions that is just one….but if you read it and think about it it is an interesting concept.

  1. Trump is a supernatural phenomenon and nothing is going to stop him or stand in his way until God is finished with him.

  2. Most civil and criminal cases against Trump except NY hush money nonesense have been reversed or dismissed. Yet left continues to scream “34 FELONIES”. So “tried and convicted” may be accurate but certainly not indicative of final results. The left and fake news spews these half truths in attempt to discredit and nuture innaccuracies. CNN, MSNBC and Al Sharpton are very good at this subterfuge.

  3. …Trump knows he is dying, he doesn’t have much time, Maybe.

I do think he’s aware that he has some pretty severe health problems. but I’m not convinced that he “knows he is dying.” If he were experiencing some MAJOR health issues that he couldn’t ignore, then I would agree with this writer. But I really don’t think that’s the case. Yet.

His mental failings are a different matter. He is definitely exhibiting senility. But the problem as I see it is that no one wants to point this out to him. Considering his insecurity, he would probably go ballistic if someone said anything. Thus, he continues merrily on his way, repeating himself, drifting off the subject, using “inappropriate” language, and covering it all up by telling everyone how GREAT he is.

And yes, under all this, I agree that his fear of retribution for his many and several illegalities probably weigh on his mind as well.

IOW, we have a SICK person leading this country … and no recourse so long as his toadies continue to hold him up.

    1. having had a mother with serious senility issues, most of the time she refused to believe anything was wrong with her, rather the people who ‘insulted’ her by telling her she was sick. Always gotta remember, when someone comes across as senile or cognitively challenged, in their mind it isn’t them that’s in trouble, it’s you. There is a huge bump of the paranoids in all of it. So anyone who tries to tell Trump he’s sick is not going to be believed anyway.

      1. I disagree. I think he cares … I mean, he is, after all, a human being. I also think he knows down deep that he’s losing control of himself, but refuses to admit it TO himself. Would you under the circumstances?

  4. So the 4 years prior to Trump’s second term were the Golden Age of competence and leadership ? The Dems denied Boobin was mentally crippled and lied to the American people for 4 years saying he was on top of his game and as sharp as ever. Their lies and insistence of Boobin’s mental competence are criminal betrayal of US. Then there was giggles Kamooola as the back-up VP and the appointment to the Supreme Court of a person unable to define what is a woman. For 4 years the security of US was in jeopardy . Where was the outrage ? Trump has arranged the entire oil rich Middle East into a US ally cutting out the influence of China and Russia there. Has done the same in SE Asia and plans the same for Western Hemisphere. He has secured billion$ and billiann$ in foreign investment. This huge economic alliance is the most comprehensive effort in history to solidify the security of the US. Trump has changed the world tilting the future to unchallengable US safety. Trump doesn’t look senile to me.

    1. Carl…no president has brought about a ‘golden age’….that is pure crap…..matters not which party is doing the bragging….just once I want someone to stop thumping their chest and look at the average person in this country and what have they gained….nothing but a bunch of hateful BS…..chuq

      1. You may be right. My Medicare Aetna went up $95 a month, drug plan up $50 a month, mtg pmt $20 a month ins increase, property tax going up at least $100 a month, car ins up. All utilities up too. Groceries !!!I know I’m not only one . Getting resentments as seems millions getting free stuff left and right. . I’m hemorhaging $ from fixed income.

      2. Carl my home insurance alone is over $1000 a month….and then all the other increases….but to me the only freeloaders are those tech bros and billionaires that pay nothing ….that is where we need to make changes. chuq
