I, unlike many in the MSM, want to be fair. During the GOP convention I was battling my old friend Isaac and was unable to watch the convention on the tube…..so I was unable to post daily on what I had seen on the floor of that convention. I had to watch Youtube and such to get my info on the daily doings of our GOP delegates and guests.
Today the counterpart of the GOP, the DNC convention is beginning and in my small attempt to be fair I will not watch the daily doings……I will instead do like I did for the RNC…..I will watch the stuff on Youtube and others and will do my critique when the convention is over……..
I just want to be honest and fair in my analysis of the conventions……hopefully this will not be a problem…….
Interesting concept, hope you catch Julian Castro, Lily Ledbetter and of course FLOTUS on YouTube then..these three were the best of the night for me.
I am looking forward to the speech by Castro and Michelle…..I am sure that they will be powerful.
OMG yes they were! I had no idea who Castro was until I watched his speech, but I would vote for him for national office after that speech. Of course I said the same thing about Obama and look at all the hard right turns he has made during his four years..so I feel like a sucker at this point. But I realize the GOP is far worse..I might be pissed as hell at OBama but I ain’t stupid.
Castro and Patrick are the future of the party and it is well deserved.
The Republican convention drew an older audience on TV. Of the 22 million who watched Ann Romney speak on Tuesday night, Nielsen found that nearly 15 million were 55 or older. Only 1.5 million were age 18-34.
