GOP Response To Libya

I keep watching the tube and all conservs are so upset that Obama has NOT made a comment on the turmoil in Libya……no matter what news channel they are employed with….they want to know why Libya does not deserve a comment and some have gone to the point of saying that he is somehow afraid to comment or that he is shrieking his duties by remaining silent……

One of the biggest hot air balloons is Palin….she has said….

Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page Tuesday night to criticize the Obama administration’s response to the ongoing turmoil in Libya.She noted the White House released statements about the earthquake in New Zealand, “but nothing on the slaughter in Libya?”

The former Republican vice presidential nominee said “now is the time to speak out.”

“For four decades this tyrant has held power. Gaddafi was Osama (bin Laden) before Osama hit the scene,” Palin wrote. “Gaddafi is a brutal killer and Libya – not to mention the world – would be better off if he were out of power.”

Like I have said….she is not alone…FOX is full of accusations, Joe on MSNBC and a whole host of others have been bitching…..and echoing what Palin is babbling on about……

OK my turn…..are you bozos smoking crack?  There are about 25,000 foreigners in Libya and the lion share are American oil workers and UK citizens….if Obama tries to get too involved those people’s lives could be in greater danger than they are now……do these uninformed toads realize that Libya is in the middle of a revolution and is NOT the same as Egypt…it is an ARMED revolution….the safety of Americans SHOULD be paramount….not some lousy statement that buffoons want Obama to make…..

So basically, these nimrods care NOTHING about the safety of Americans…they jsut want to push Obama for some lame and moronic political purpose…..may I say…YOU people are disgusting and do NOT deserve any respect from any American!

Americans?  Have you had enough of the hot air machines yet?

Oh Sarah! Could We Be So Wrong?

Okay, I am NO fan of the media darling, Sarah Palin….I have written about her and her lack of knowledge….about her use of slogans instead of facts…..about her ego-centric personality….all in all I am NO fan!  I have read her two books and found them to be…….a yawn…..(and I paused to find the right word so not to be crude)…….but now all the predictions and accusations seem to be close to reality…..

It seems that an adviser to Palin has written a tell all book about the half governor because he thought we needed to know…… (more like he wants lots of bucks for the read)…..

A copy of a tell-all book by Frank Bailey, “Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years,” has been leaked to members of the media. In the book, Palin’s former chief of staff gives an unflattering view inside the former governor’s rise to fame.

In the foreword of his 456-page manuscript, originally titled “Renegade: Sarah Palin’s Hatchet Man,” Bailey says Palin e-mailed him, “I hate this damn job” days before she quit in July 2009. The book goes on to describe Palin’s staff targeting political opponents for personal retribution, through a variety of public channels.

“We set our sights and went after opponents in coordinated attacks, utilizing what we called ‘Fox News surrogates’, friendly blogs, ghost-written op eds, media opinion polls (that we often rigged), letters to editors, and carefully edited speeches,” Bailey wrote. “Nobody needed to be told what to do; we understood Sarah’s silent mandate to do something now.”

I guess I feel pretty good….from her introduction to the nation as the running mate of McCain….I have said that she is a hollow shell whose only concern was the fame and the cash….so far NOTHING said or done has changed my mind…..I await this book’s publish date….I need a good bit of humor since politics offers nothing but aggravation….

A side note from political wire:

The company that produced Sarah Palin’s Alaska, the TLC show starring the former vice presidential nominee, is set to receive $1.2 million in state subsidies, according to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.

The funding has led to criticism that then-Gov. Palin may have approved of tax credits for programs filmed in Alaska as a way of boosting her profile in the future. The subsidies under the law run until 2013.

And there is a story flying around that Palin had Lasik for her eyes and only wears glasses to appear smarter than she really is…..that I can buy……
