Even His Chatbot Thinks He Lies

It is a Friday and would like to close with a little something…..many people are using AI to get to the heart of a story (I think it is kinda lazy but that is just me)….

Most people with a functioning brain thinks Donny is a liar….even his own AI chatbot thinks so as well….

I thought it would be helpful to see what the new artificial intelligence chatbot Trump added to Truth Social on Aug. 6 had to say about whether he is trustworthy and whether his signature policies are popular.

Truth Social AI, the chatbot, offered me answers that echoed opinions from the new national polling and responded this way when I asked if Trump has a history of lying: “Yes. Major fact-checkers, courts, and official investigations have documented numerous false claims by Donald Trump over many years.”

So Trump’s own chatbot calls him out as a liar. How awkward for him. How candid and correct for the rest of us.

On the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Truth Social AI told me that “most national polling shows Americans disapprove” of it, though some people approve of “specific provisions” such as some tax breaks included in it.

On tariffs, Truth Social AI said, “Most credible analyses find Trump’s tariffs have been a net drag on the U.S. economy ‒ raising consumer and business costs, reducing overall employment and output ‒ though they can modestly lift employment in some protected manufacturing industries.”

Asked about how Trump is changing the federal government, Truth Social told me “approval is mixed and modest,” citing Associated Press-NORC polls showing “roughly 4 in 10 Americans approve.” That was interesting framing, since a clear majority in those polls don’t like how Trump is operating.

Maybe he ought to put his IT guys to work corrected this oversight…..he just cannot have his own AI on his own social media site contradicting his words.

Do you remember Kayleigh McEnany?

Sure you do…..she was the blonde press secretary for Donald the Orange.

In a recent interview she stated and denied that she never lied to the American people.

Really?

Then let’s look shall we?

Kayleigh McEnany keeps having to emphatically deny that she lied while serving as President Donald Trump’s final press secretary. It appears to be a question that keeps coming up for her, which could be because her claim isn’t one that is believable or there are so many examples of egregious statements she made over her tenure in the press room.

Among many of the critics of McEnany was PolitiFact, which has a scorecard for the former White House staffer showing most of their checks showed her lying most of the time. In fact, 56 percent of her statements were mostly false, false, or “pants on fire” false. Just 14 percent were “half true,” and 28 percent “mostly true.” She got 0 percent of her comments reviewed that were “true.”

There are lots of sites and sources for virus information but I feel we need to step up and point to blatant lies that we should all be aware of in these times of so much confusion….

Quick: A runny nose means you don’t have the coronavirus. True or false? If you said true because of something on Facebook, you were likely duped by the so-called “Uncle with master’s degree post”—one of several coronavirus canards circulating online. The BBC traced a version back to Feb. 7 that appeared on the group Happy People, which has 2,000 members: “My classmate’s uncle and nephew, graduated with a master’s degree, and work in Shenzhen Hospital,” it reads. “He is being transferred to study Wuhan pneumonia virus. He just called me and told me to tell my friends…” The text is anonymous and mixes fact with fiction, advising people to wash their hands with soap (useful!) while peddling myths about runny noses and liquids with ice.

FullFact and Snopes dismiss several claims in the post, like “Coronavirus pneumonia is a dry cough with no runny nose” (you can have a runny nose) and the coronavirus “will be killed by a temperature of just 26/27 degrees” (that’s not confirmed). Other head-scratchers include “try not to drink liquids with ice” and sneezed particles reach “about 10 feet” before hitting the ground (no one knows how far they go). The post has reached hundreds of thousands in slightly different forms, often copied and pasted by users who make it look original. Another popular fake post claims that Bill Gates has said the virus serves “a spiritual purpose,” the Independent reports. Facebook and Twitter say they’re trying to crack down on misinformation, but meanwhile, the CDC and WHO remain good sources on the coronavirus.

It Is All About Unemployment

The recent “optimistic” report on the employment scene was good news and then it was bad news…I know…I know…what the hell does that mean?

The number of Americans receiving claims for unemployment benefits dropped for the first time since January, adding to evidence the job market is starting to thaw.

And in the same report this was given:

Initial claims rose by 3,000 to 608,000 in the week ended June 13, in line with forecasts.

The average number of claims over the last four weeks fell to the lowest level in four months, an indication that the U.S. economy is stabilizing after the worst recession in half a century. Even so, companies are likely to be slow to hire new employees, sending unemployment rates higher, analysts said.

Okay…make up my mind for me….is it good or bad?

As usual no one wants to mention the poor bastards who have NO claims left…that have come off the rolls or just stopped looking.  This is the same type of reporting that goes on weekly……any good news is in the big type and the not so good is later in the report in small type.

Here is a truer judgement of the employment picture:

Forty-eight states and the District of Columbia recorded unemployment rate increases in May, the government reported Friday. One state registered a rate decrease, and one state had no rate change.Several states and regions posted their highest unemployment rate since the report debuted in 1976.

Over the year, jobless rates were higher in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Please stop believing all the crap they throw……things are NOT getting that much better….only for the guys and gals on Wall Street…they got their bailout while the rest of us can starve….makes NO difference to Washington….they have jobs.

The hits just keep coming….once again it is the Rush Man that has an anal statement that it noteworthy.

This one is from his radio show where he went on a long winded tear about Obama.

“[E]verywhere Obama is spreading Obamaism, there is a deadly disease taking place, either in the TARP community or in the newspaper business,” he said. “Obama goes to Mexico — they have an earthquake. Obama goes to Mexico — get pig flu.”

You gotta love the Right, they can make something out of nothing….did anyone bother to tell his fatitude that the original case over 4 weeks ago? Never mind he has NEVER let the facts get in the way of his rants.

I was wondering if this bitch had learned her lesson….and now my question has been answered..NO she has not…but like the good Repub that she is….why be bothered with the facts……

Today’s anal statement is from the lady that thinks liberals are un-American, the Republican Congresswoman from the Great state of Minnesota, Michele Bachmann.

Rep. Michelle Bachman (R- MN) on the Scott Hennen show refer to ACORN getting $2 billion (yes, that’s billion) in new funding from the “economic stimulus” bill Obama and Democrats ram-rodded through Congress with as little debate and scrutiny as possible.

Bachman noted that the payment to ACORN wasn’t a “stimulus,” it was a pay off.  Presumably for ACORN’s efforts in fraudulently registering Democrat voters across the country.

Yes…she is an idiot!

First of all ACORN is NOT named in the stimulus plan to get ANY funds,  second NOT one representative can look the camera in the eye and say they have read the plan before they voted on it, she is just using the GOP talking points of the day.  Second, those voters that the GOP keep thumping their chest about were registered by temporary workers not the mainstream ACORN workers and they are the ones that turned in the fraud themselves.

It seems lies work better for the GOP than the truth and it has for many many years…,it is how they get elected.

Palin On SNL

Finally, Palin has made an appearance on SNL.  After a month opr more of Fet portrayting her, it was time for her to make an appearance.  She did and she was good.  (Did I say that?)

That leads me into my point.  She was funny and charming and I came to the realization that she was that all along—-a comedian.

It was the most watched SNL in 14 years.  Was it to hear Palin?  Or maybe it was to see how she handled the ribbing she was gonna get?  I hear all surrogates telling me just what a great candidate she is and the people love her.  The problem with that is….the polls say different.  So is the media just trying to keep McCain in the running by false reporting?  I mean they consult polls for everything, but amusingly overlook that one.

Was Palin a success?  You betcha!  At least, in the audience that watched the show.  But will that translate into votes or more support?  Not a chance!  Did she do anything to improve her poll numbers?  Nope!  Her supporters are over 50 and filled with hate and venom; they will remain and that is the sad part.  She is very good at spreading the hateful rhetoric on Ayers, socialism, terrorists, yada yada….the only thing she lacks is the truth.
