Poor, Poor Jeb!

Since Jeb! took a powder from campaign after his dismal showing in South Carolina pundits have been scrambling to find out just what went wrong…..

The common excuse was the rise and popularity of Donald Trump as the main reason for his demise……but is it?

The post-mortems on Jeb Bush’s failed campaign are rolling in. Some examples:

  • Don’t blame Donald Trump. “What killed Jeb Bush’s campaign was first the failure of his brother’s administration, and then the emergence of Marco Rubio to present a more attractive face for its continuation,” writes Jonathan Chait at New York.
  • Still, Peter Beinart at the Atlantic explains why Bush was Trump’s “perfect foil.”
  • The Week sums things up by collecting 19 “devastating quotes” that compare coverage of Bush in early 2015 with more recent stories.
  • One problem: His campaign underestimated “Bush fatigue,” observes the Washington Post.
  • Another: He didn’t have advisers who could recognize shortcomings and, more importantly, point them out to Bush himself, says this piece in Politico Magazine.
  • How on earth do you spend $130 million and have so little to show for it? The New York Times digs into “one of the least successful campaign spending binges in history.”
  • Those early stumbles on Iraq didn’t help, notes CNN.
  • Gary Legum at Salon bids “good riddance” to the “Bush Dynasty” with the question, “Can anyone think of another family dynasty that has had such a huge role in a particular stretch of American history, yet has almost zero hold on the country’s imagination?”

Stop blaming Trump!  A terrible candidate is just that….a terrible candidate….of which Jeb! was one.

All that is well and good but some of us say it, his campaign, for it was…..a YAWN!

Jeb! had all the appeal of a cold dry noodle…….he will never be a national candidate.  Even surrounded by Daddy Bush and Bubba Bush advisers….he still had No chance…..

Time for us to move on and let Jeb! slink away to lick his wounds and explain to major donors why he pissed away their cash…..besides….who f*cking cares?

Clinton Wins, Marco Smiles And Jeb!

Yesterday was a big day for politicos….the Nevada Caucus and South Carolina primary…..

Hillary Clinton has been declared the winner of Saturday’s Democratic caucus in Nevada, holding a 4-point lead over Bernie Sanders with 66% of precincts reporting, the New Republic reports. “To everyone who turned out in every corner of Nevada with determination and heart: This is your win. Thank you,” Clinton tweeted. According to CNN, Clinton avoided a “dramatic setback” with the win. And the Hill states it will “calm some nerves” after Sanders nearly beat both expectations and Clinton in the state. Sanders managed to turn a double-digit deficit in earlier polls into a narrow loss. The results of the caucus were called about two hours after it started.

The win gives Clinton some momentum with the South Carolina primary and Super Tuesday coming up. She also now has evidence that 2016 will play out differently than her 2008 contest against Obama and that she is more electable than Sanders. But it wasn’t all good news for Clinton. She underperformed among Latino voters and isn’t getting “fervent support” from young people. New Republic notes this “enthusiasm gap” could hurt her in the general election. As for Sanders, FiveThirtyEight reports he could still win the rest of the states that have caucuses, mostly because those states—with the exception of Hawaii—are “really white.”

Hil has her revenge and now maybe she will start acting more presidential…..

South Carolina was the next to report in…….

Donald Trump has won the South Carolina primary, according to projections from the AP, CBS News, NBC News, and Fox News. It’s the second victory in a row for the billionaire, who looks to have about 34% of the vote. This in spite of exit polls that showed that some four in 10 voters made up their minds at the last minute and many broke for Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, who are still locked in a battle for second and third place at around 21% of the vote. Jeb Bush is running a distant fourth place—though John Kasich is showing a late surge, and has the potential to knock Bush to a fifth-place finish—and faces some hard decisions as his fundraising dries up. Ben Carson is solidly in sixth place, and has now spoken to his supporters to assure them that he’s not dropping out.

The media has turned Rubio into a winner by spin his losing effort into a positive…..

Jeb! has been on life support the whole process……and now he can go home and play with himself in the corner of the basement…..

Less than two hours after the polls closed in South Carolina sending Donald Trump to victory, a teary-eyed Jeb Bush ended his bid for the Republican nomination for president, reports the AP. The move ended a campaign that drew a staggering level of financial support from donors but failed to win over voters angry with Washington and leery of sending another member of the Bush family to the White House. Following disappointing performances in both Iowa and New Hampshire, Bush pinned his hopes on South Carolina, a state where the Bush name has maintained some clout. But Bush was unable to break into the top three in South Carolina. He would likely have faced pressure from GOP leaders and donors to drop out had he stayed in the race.

There will be NO Bush 45……

Now that you know….go enjoy the rest of your weekend….there is more where all this came from…..DAMMIT!

2016: Today’s A Big Day For Candidates

Today is Saturday and I usually turn to subject matter that has nothing to do with politics, foreign policy or war…..but today is a big day that deserves a few insights…….

We have the SC primary for the GOP and the Nevada Caucus……there  are a couple of candidates for both parties that need to win and win …..BIG!

Saturday is a big day for the presidential hopefuls from both parties, with Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders facing off in the Nevada Democratic caucuses and Donald Trump taking on all challengers in the South Carolina Republican primary. How both of those events play out could have major impacts on the rest of the race. Here are six things you need to know:

  • Both Clinton and Sanders have a lot to lose in Nevada, NBC News reports. A Clinton loss “would launch another week’s worth of negative headlines for her campaign,” while “a Sanders loss could even be more impactful because it would set up Hillary Clinton to start running the table” in the south.
  • The Washington Post believes the GOP side is turning into a three-man race in South Carolina and beyond. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have been “attempting to position themselves as the main alternative to Trump,” but “Trump is still the biggest attraction of all, dominating the polls and attracting huge crowds wherever he goes.”
  • Clinton made a serious mistake when “she failed to take Bernie Sanders serious enough,” allowing him to close the gap in Nevada, the Los Angeles Times reports. Now even a narrow victory over Sanders in Nevada “could raise strong doubts about [her] candidacy.”
  • NBC notes that while Trump has had the lead in South Carolina polls for months, its no longer looking insurmountable. His 16-point lead from last month has crumbled to 5 points in one recent poll.
  • USA Today highlights five questions, the answers to which will determine the way the Nevada caucuses go. One of the major questions is whether turnout will be small enough and—especially—diverse enough to deliver a win for Clinton. “If she loses Nevada because—horror of horrors—the caucus voters looked more like New Hampshire and Iowa, Clinton will have to look in the mirror. Or at her field operatives.”
  • Finally, things aren’t looking good for Jeb Bush (not to mention John Kasich and Ben Carson), according to Politico. Morale is down in the Bush camp, with even his biggest supporters believing “Saturday might be the end.” Donors are reportedly ready “to intervene and tell Bush, depending on his finish here Saturday night, that his time is up” after a week one describes as “a kick in the balls.”

With luck two things will occur…..Jeb! gets his ass handed to him and Clinton hits a Bernie wall……both events would go a long way to making this a more interesting election process…..

What say you?

Now I shall go watch paint dry…….

Is Jeb! Toast?

If you recall at the very beginning of this election cycle the hot ticket item for the GOP was GW’s brother, Jeb! and since then he has dropped like a turd in a punch bowl…..he has spent more money than anyone and has done nothing but lessen his candidacy…..so the question is how much longer will he suffer the pain and the disappointment?

Politico may have the answer to that question……

Source: Jeb Bush 2016 donors await green light to jump ship – POLITICO

But with all his woes he has picked up an endorsement……

No longer in the race himself, Lindsey Graham has revealed who he’s endorsing for the GOP nominee: Jeb Bush. He made the announcement at a Friday press conference alongside a smiling Bush, per CNN. “His endorsement is very meaningful and along with it come a lot of friends and supporters of his,” Bush told Fox News, per NBC News. However, at least one political analyst is questioning the move. “A guy with 0% (Graham) endorses someone with 5% (Bush),” Matthew Dowd wrote on Twitter. “What kind of strategy is this? No wonder Trump is winning.”

On the Bush front, Politico reports most of the two dozen big donors it interviewed are simply waiting for Bush to throw in the towel so they can open their wallets for another candidate (Politico predicts Bush’s current “Wall Street support” will move on to Marco Rubio). “I’m resigned to it being over, frankly,” says one. Another adds the current fundraising pitch for the Bush camp is, “I need you to throw away money on Jeb!—out of loyalty” to the Bush Family.

That ought pick him up from the pit of despair…..an endorsement from a candidate that could not make it into the debates because he could not make it into the polls….

My thought is….yes……Jeb! is toast…..it is only a matter of time…..tic toc…..

JEB! On The Run

The 2016 election is quickly becoming a reality instead of a sideshow…..and all the time since the summer JEB! has been scrambling to find a foothold for his campaign.

In recent months Jeb cannot buy any love….no matter how he tries to punch out Trump….the only thing all his money and rhetoric has done is see him slide in the polls…..How can that be?  After all he is the smart one of the two brothers…..how can this be?

Since nothing so far has given him a step up in the polls he is gonna try something new…..

In 2013, after Edward Snowden dropped his NSA bombshell, President Obama called for an end to spying on certain world leaders. But Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli bigwigs remained on the “keep an eye on” list for “compelling national security” reasons, current and ex-US officials tell the Wall Street Journal. Included in the US spying sweep were conversations between Israeli officials and US lawmakers and American-Jewish groups, which, as one senior US official tells the paper, resulted in an “Oh s— moment” that the executive branch would be nailed for spying on Congress. The White House, though, felt the info necessary to rebut lobbying Netanyahu might do against a US-Iran deal; still, it was “wary of a paper trail stemming from a request.” And so “we didn’t say, ‘Do it’ [to the NSA],” a senior US official tells the Journal. “We didn’t say, ‘Don’t do it.'”

Instead, the administration more or less let the NSA share whatever info it saw fit, and the NSA did just that, reportedly following tight mandates about spying on communications “to, from, or about” Americans, the paper notes. For example, the agency took out names of individual lawmakers and any personal info in reports it submitted to the White House and also omitted any “trash talk” about the administration, officials tell the Journal. At least one presidential candidate isn’t surprised by the revelations. “This administration views Congress, Republicans, and sometimes even Democratic members of Congress as their enemy,” Ted Cruz tells CBS News. “At times, it seems like they view the American people as their enemy.” A National Security Council spokesman, however, tells CBS, “[W]e do not conduct any foreign intelligence surveillance activities unless there is a specific and validated national security purpose. This applies to ordinary citizens and world leaders alike.”

My opinion is that our boy JEB! is…….TOAST!  All his money is going to do is….be wasted!

Thoughts?

JEB! Can’t Buy The Love

The 2016 election is just sad on so many levels….but the best is poor Jeb Bush,  He just cannot win……he has out spent his rivals by a wide margin and what has all the cash bought him?

He just keeps sliding in the polls….presently he stands at about 5% but it will depend on which poll you care to quote……

Trump absorbed 3 points, boosting him to a healthy lead of 27%. Ascending to second-place position in the poll: Marco Rubio, who gained 3 percentage points for a total of 17%. Ted Cruz also drew in 3 additional points to tie Carson at 16%, while Jeb Bush languishes in a distant fifth place with 5%. The rest of the GOP comes in at 3% or less.

As he continues to slide he has not lost his donors……apparently they will stick with him (at least for now) with the hopes that Trump will crash and burn and then his only rival after that will be Rubio……so what does he need to do to impress the GOP voters?

A “did I just say that out loud?” moment in politics usually means someone’s foot has been deftly inserted in someone’s mouth, but in Jeb Bush’s case, it may be a harbinger of a more gender-balanced campaign. Appearing at a town hall in Waterloo, Iowa, on Tuesday, Bush was asked by an audience member about his take on the vice president’s role, per the Daily Caller. After waxing nostalgic on the respectful relationship that had existed between his dad and President Ronald Reagan, Bush added, “That kind of relationship I think is really important. And should I be elected president, I would have my vice president—I think she will be a great partner.”

Whether his use of the pronoun “she” was a slip of the tongue or a calculated move, Bush “quickly walked back the remark,” the Hill notes. “I mean, did I say that out loud?” he asked the audience. “We always talk about this with one gender in mind. I think we’ve reached the point in our country where maybe we should be a little less gender-specific about this.” And, just to give himself an out in case he a) does surprise naysayers and actually get the GOP nomination, and b) picks a guy as his running mate, Bush added, “Frankly, the one important element of selecting a vice presidential candidate is whether he or she is qualified to be president. Everything else is secondary.”

Sad attempt at subtly….maybe someone should tell him that it has been done already….the American people been there, done that and they have the T-shirt…….

Maybe attacking the Dem front runner would help…..

Over the weekend Jeb Bush, the US presidential hopeful, told CBS News that if it came to it he would support Donald Trump as the Republican nominee, “because anybody is better than Hillary Clinton”. You can see why he felt obliged to say so, but it won’t be easy for him to defend the idea that Clinton is the worst presidential prospect he can think of.

Really Jeb?  You really cannot think of anyone that could possibly be worse?

But wait…he will use resources as president to force Americans to buy Israeli goods……

Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush has promised that if he is elected president next November he will deploy the full might of the US Department of Justice to crack down on the movement to boycott, divest from and sanction Israel.

“On day one I will work with the next attorney general to stop the BDS movement in the United States, to use whatever resources that exist,” the former Florida governor told the Republican Jewish Coalition in a speech on Thursday.

Seriously Jeb?  You gonna make it illegal to boycott?  You’re a tool!

Poor Jeb is struggling……how long before the GOP donors see him for what is is…..a presidential loser?

Art Of War–GOP Style

Let us change the tone of the posts…..how about the battling Floridians?

The 2016 election has its characters……some are amusing while others are just tedious…..and others that just plain batcrap crazy….and the GOP has at least one in each category…..

But in all reality there are two candidates that can save GOP on a national stage….the problem is that they both are boring and ill informed……Rubio and Bush……

The Bush campaign has fired the first salvo of an inter-party battle…..

The Jeb Bush campaign threw some major shade at opponent Marco Rubio in a PowerPoint presentation for donors obtained by US News & World Report. The campaign met with donors Monday in Houston hoping to reassure them that Bush isn’t as doomed as he may appear. (That perception got worse with Wednesday’s debate.) Afterward, the campaign released a 45-page copy of the PowerPoint presentation it gave to donors to a handful of reporters. But US News managed to obtain the full 112-page version. “The document provides a rare behind-the-curtain look at the gritty details of a campaign at a crucial inflection point,” US News states.

The presentation released to reporters already called Rubio “the GOP’s Barack Obama,” but US News reports the full version includes some even more pointed and specific jabs at the senator’s character and ethics. In fact, there’s an entire slide devoted to Rubio with the title “Marco is a Risky Bet.” Bullet points on the slide refer to Rubio’s “misuse of state party credit cards, taxpayer funds,” and links to “scandal-scarred former Congressman David Rivera” and a billionaire auto dealer Norman Braman, who is a major benefactor. The latter relationship “raises major ethical questions.” The juiciest bullet point reads: “Those who have looked into Marco’s background in the past have been concerned with what they have found.” A Bush aide tells US News that refers to worries cited by Mitt Romney’s team while vetting Rubio for vice president in 2012. Read the full leaked document here.

All the info may be privy but what does Jeb offer in his place?

In my opinion not very much!

But if we are going to be honest about the GOP and its future as a viable party then look no further than Rubio and Ryan (I would not vote for either but the party does need an injection of new blood…. reasonable blood)

The last few years haven’t been kind to the Republican party, writes David Brooks in the New York Times, but he thinks the rise of two 40-something leaders is poised to change that. In a column headlined the “Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio Moment,” Brooks labels Rubio the most likely nominee. Coupled with Ryan’s election as House speaker, that would put the pair of them in prominent spots heading into the election—”a pretty excellent outcome for a party that has shown an amazing tendency to inflict self-harm.” Most of the column is spent praising the 44-year-old Rubio, whom Brooks calls a true “child of this century” when contrasted with other candidates spouting stale formulas.

“He understands that it’s no longer enough to cut taxes and say bad things about government to produce widespread prosperity,” writes Brooks, adding that Rubio is focused on problems such as technology putting people out of work and globalization bringing down wages. His anti-poverty programs are his “biggest departure” from traditional GOP beliefs, writes Brooks, including wage subsidies to encourage people to take entry-level jobs. “In a year in which many candidates are all marketing, Rubio is a balance of marketing and product,” writes Brooks. He and Ryan would make “the wonkiest leadership team in our lifetime,” and “that’s a good thing.” Click to read the full column.

I am not endorsing either of these two people only that they seem to possess the chops to help make the GOP a national party once again…..if the party keeps playing these moronic games it will never return to the glory it once had……

Thoughts?  Can the GOP regain some of the reliability they use to possess?

Jeb: Time For An Obit?

Once again the presumptive nominee a couple of months ago is having a horrible time trying to win over the voters…..and the last debate that all said he had to crunch did NOTHING to help his cause….I hear people mock Carson for being too sedate….apparently they have not witnessed the performance of Jeb Bush in the past 3 months….Carson is like a dude on meth next to Jeb…..

After his dismal performance at the CNBC debate there are many in the political world calling him a dead candidate….or at least should consider going home and playing with his wife….for he is DONE as a GOP candidate…

Please do not take my for for it only…there are plenty of critics……

Think Wednesday night was a rough one for Jeb Bush’s candidacy? Consider these assessments:

  • Politico: “It will also likely be remembered as the night the Jeb Bush 2016 deathwatch began,” writes Glenn Thrush. Candidates can recover from the various missteps Bush has previously suffered, “but you can’t do all those things, and then lay an egg in the most important debate of your political career.”
  • Matt Drudge: “Jeb Bush can eat carbs now… #GOPDebate.”
  • Weekly Standard: “Rubio ended Jeb Bush’s campaign with the kind of body shot that buckles your knees,” writes Jonathan V. Last. “That’s on Bush, who never should have come after Rubio in that spot for a host of strategic and tactical reasons.”
  • New Republic: “The whole [Rubio] exchange exemplified my point that Bush just isn’t very good at this, and would help his party by suspending his campaign,” writes Brian Beutler.
  • Five Thirty Eight: “Yeah, Jeb Bush Is Probably Toast,” reads the headline on a Nate Silver post. The “conventional wisdom” is that he’s in trouble, which is a problem in this case because “Bush is running a conventional campaign.” He “maybe” can recover, “but his problem isn’t a mere lack of ‘momentum,'” writes Silver. “Bush has never looked all that electable or all that conservative.”
  • Slate: “It was do or die,” writes Jamelle Bouie. “And Bush died. … Bush might have cash reserves and support from family backers, but after tonight, he’s slipped to the second tier. He may not leave the race, but he’ll struggle to get traction.”
  • Washington Post: “Oh, Jeb. This was a really bad night for someone who needed a good-to-really-good night,” writes Chris Cillizza. “The buzz about whether Jeb is up to this race, which was at a relatively low level before tonight, is going to start getting a lot louder.”
  • And a counterpoint: “Be patient,” says a GOP strategist quoted in Mike Allen’s Playbook blog at Politico. “He has the cash to stay in until he can retool. Let the new frontrunners tear each other apart. Trust his abilities and résumé will give him a path back. Don’t stop fighting.”

Personally, I do not think all the money that he supposedly squirreled away will do any good…..he is on life support….and rich donors are looking for the plug…..he could make it to Iowa….but is there not a city named Waterloo in Iowa?  That would be poetic!

Please let me have your thoughts on the Bush candidacy……

Is It Bush Lite?

Oops!  Got caught with the checkbook down…….

I have to admit that the run up to the 2016 election has been very entertaining…..there is something for everyone……humor, sorrow, disgust, whining and support……people come and go……candidates talk and lie……pundits speculate and bloggers just rant…….

But all that is just stuff…..and then I read something that makes me go….WTF?

Donor pressure, plummeting poll numbers, and a wrench named Trump have caused Jeb Bush’s campaign team to start what Reuters calls “reboot mode” and make a drastic decision: slash pay for campaign workers and downsize its Miami headquarters, leading to a 40% payroll decrease and $1 million savings per month, senior campaign officials tell Bloomberg. “Aggressive” measures include cutting salaries of all but the most entry-level workers, decreasing travel costs by 20%, and slashing 45% of the overall budget, except funds for ads and voter contact, per a campaign statement. Bloomberg notes downsizing will include letting consultants go and removing some senior staff from payroll (though some will reportedly keep stumping as volunteers). “Jeb is in this race for the long haul … [and] we are in this campaign to win,” the statement says.

The statement doesn’t beat around the bush about the person beating down Bush. “It’s no secret that the contours of this race have changed,” it notes. “We would be less than forthcoming if we said we predicted in June that a reality television star supporting Canadian-style single-payer health care and partial-birth abortion would be leading the GOP primary.” But with $10.3 million in the bank at the beginning of October (and hopefully more to come via fundraising), campaign officials believe the cutbacks will help them divert more funds to early-voting states, where the Bush camp says it has the largest field operations, Bloomberg notes. One person thrown about Jeb’s financial jiggering: rival Ben Carson. “This is a little bit surprising, but … a lot of his money … was super-PAC money as opposed to campaign money,” Carson says in an interview set to air on Bloomberg TV Friday. “That doesn’t give you as much flexibility, quite frankly.”

But wait!  I thought he had $100’s of millions in the bank for his campaign…..what happened?  What happened to the statement “I am my own man?”

This is just crazy!  A Bush strapped for cash?  Go figure!

Maybe it his new attitude…….

Said Bush: “If this election is about how we’re going to fight to get nothing done, then I don’t want anything, I don’t want any part of it. I don’t want to be elected president to sit around and see gridlock just become so dominant that people literally are in decline in their lives. That is not my motivation.”

He added: “I’ve got a lot of really cool things I could do other than sit around, be miserable, listening to people demonize me and me feeling compelled to demonize them. That is a joke. Elect Trump if you want that.”

Sounds like a pouting 5 year old…..

Trump, The Bush Slayer

I know it is too early to care about the 2016 election and the GOP circus of errors….but there is something that I just cannot turn away from…..the Trump V Bush saga……

Recently Trump accused GW as NOT keeping the country safe….simply based on the fact that he was president when the attack happened……I can see where he is coming from on this….I mean if anything that happens is Obama fault simply because he is prez…….. then……. why not GW?

Of course Jeb took the bait and lashed out at Trump in defense of his brother…..when that happened I said then that Trump had set a trap for Jeb…..gets him defending his brother and not talking about his policies and plans….kinda brilliant.

Donald Trump continued his recent attacks on the Bush family by implying today that he would have prevented the 9/11 attacks, CNN reports. The Republican presidential contender said on Fox News Sunday that he’s “extremely, extremely tough on immigration,” which may have thwarted the 9/11 terrorists. “There’s a good chance that those people would not have been in our country,” says Trump. (The Guardian, however, notes that all of the terrorists legally entered the US on tourist or business visas—except one, who used a student visa.) “I’m not blaming George Bush,” adds Trump. “But I don’t want Jeb Bush to say, ‘My brother kept us safe,’ because September 11 was one of the worst days in the history of this country.” Cue the reactions:

  • “My brother responded to a crisis, and he did it as you would hope a president would do,” says Jeb Bush on State of the Union. “He united the country, he organized our country and he kept us safe. … And I don’t know why [Trump] keeps bringing this up.”
  • “I would probably ask [Trump] what he meant by that. I seriously doubt that he’s saying that—that George W. Bush is to blame for [9/11],” says Carson, per ABC News. “I certainly—I certainly don’t think so.”

And Jeb recently fired back at Trump (who’s been attacking the Bush brothers on Twitter) with a video that mocks Trump as a foreign-policy lightweight while fanciful clarinet music plays in the background.

Jeb is suppose to be an astute politician…..after all that has been said by Trump about Jeb…..he, Jeb, should have seen this coming and prepared for it…..he did not and he will be destroyed……

If you followed political headlines over the last few days, you know that Donald Trump has been going after Jeb Bush by attacking his brother. After noting that 9/11 occurred on George W. Bush’s watch, Trump boasted that his policies would have prevented the attacks. Essentially blaming Bush for 9/11 is “laughable,” but it’s also “brilliant politics,” writes Ben White at CNBC. In a post at Vox, Ezra Klein has a similar take. Even if Trump doesn’t end up the nominee, “it’s increasingly clear he’s going to destroy Jeb Bush before he loses.” Trump has realized that Bush’s biggest weakness is his brother, and he’s relentlessly piling on. On Twitter, Trump asked, “Jeb, why did your brother attack and destabalize the Middle East by attacking Iraq when there were no weapons of mass destruction? Bad info?”

Bush, meanwhile, is defending his brother while twisting himself in knots trying to answer questions like this one from CNN’s Jake Tapper regarding 9/11: “If your brother and his administration bear no responsibility at all, how do you then make the jump that President Obama and Secretary Clinton are responsible for what happened at Benghazi?” Trump is reminding Republicans that if they choose Jeb Bush, they’ll have to answer questions like that one—and answer for George Bush’s polices—all through the general election, writes Klein. Click for his full column.

Trump may well not be the nominee……and he is doing everything possible to make Jeb damaged goods so that he will not be the nominee either……

Plus Jeb is destroying himself……

Source: Jake Tapper stuns Jeb Bush: If your brother is blameless for 9/11 why is Hillary Clinton responsible for Benghazi? – Salon.com

Like I have said….kinda brilliant!
