With the popularity of the DSA so far in the midterms the rage by the Right has once again exploded into the usual stupidity about socialist or communists or Marxists and as usual none of it is accurate….
I have been fighting the false narrative for many many years and here we go again….soon the MAGA people will be counting all the communists in the country for exposure….
This is something I wrote about 14 years ago during an earlier attack on the Left….I use to have a feature in IST called the VOMITORIUM……
That movie exposed just how stupid the whole thing becomes when you let idiots define the political landscape….

In 2024-2025, the Communist Party USA had approximately 20,000 members or about .00585% of the U.S. population of 342 million. That is less than six one-hundredths of a percent! Is that a scary figure? Nope! 20,000 people doesn’t even halfway fill an NFL stadium! CPUSA formed in 1919, reached a peak membership of 85,000 in 1942 and fell to10,000 in the 1950s. By 2017, it had dropped to 5,000.
But now it’s on the rise again! Pretty soon there will be 25,000 rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth members hungry for Trump-supporter blood. Be afraid, fascists! BE VERY AFRAID!
I am waiting for a Donny toadie to start giving numbers that are made up…..I think they are afraid with the numbers that are voting progressive….and that makes me smile. chuq
Me too! I saw a report yesterday about a Trump toadie (I don’t recall who it was) who insinuated that democratic socialists are communists. So yeah, they are doing that.
