I have good days and bad here on IST but yesterday was one of my best in awhile….I had 1322 views with each a total average of 1.91 views per click.
Recently I have been getting more traffic but few participants that is the only part of this that is troubling.
So far today, it is 0700, the total views is 504 so off to another good start.
I would like to thank all those people that stopped by IST to check out the offerings I present daily….and especially my regulars who make this blog a joy….your participation is truly appreciated.

Chuq, I have had 10,630 views since 6pm last night. 90% of those originated in the USA, the other 1,000+ in Israel. I suspect bots and AI content scrapers. I would normally get around 350-400 views in that time.

Same thing at grouchyfarmer.com. When I put up a new post the hit rate jumps way up for a day or two but on an average day I get 40 – 70 views. Today it’s up to 1,200 already and climbing, and for no apparent reason. Haven’t put up a new post in weeks.
They have backed off a bit today only 600 so far….I guess bots get tired too LOL chuq
Yeah, my count has dropped down to about 350 or 400 as of today so it’s definitely slowed down. Absolutely is bots and/or AI’s illegally scavenging intellectual property without permission.
That is where my high hitters are from and I think that you are right about the bots….chuq
I envy you (in a nice way) since I doubt if I get even a dozen a day…one way to handle this is to not look at the counts and just enjoy what you DO get.
Judy you are right….having people to engage is the best and most important part….I never looked for instant gratification will so many have. chuq
