During the Presidential speech the Dems tried to be cute….one Dem got tossed for being mouthy and the small cadre held up signs like Musk Steals, Save Medicare, etc and some even filed out of the speech slowly.
To me as I have said it was theatrics only and was not effective only to the media for they had a spectacle they could put on the evening news for a few minutes

It made them look petty and small. No matter what, we need to respect the office of the Presidency, regardless of who holds it. This lack of respect for institutions is one reason people want to tear them down – I don’t respect most of those who are supposedly leading us and that includes every one of those people holding signs….and I’m not a Trump supporter, I’m a supporter of respecting the institution while we sort out the rest

Agree – the anti-Trump message didn’t work – he has certainly lived up to all of the concerns but it didn’t work, so come up with a message that offers a different path that is better for people…based on what will be a soaring unemployment rate and high prices on things people took for granted, soon they will be very willing to listen

Gavin Newsome, clearly liberal, commented about not letting trans men compete in women’s sports and the left wing uproar shows why the Democratic Party will NOT figure out how to speak to people…you try to discuss something that is an issue with some and that’s what you get
