Reproductive Rights: Return To Crap!

Now that we have a GOP controlled Congress some old issues will be in the firing field again…….of course if you speak with a Right wing mental titan (that is sarcasm in case you missed it) they will try to dress you down for even considering that there is a major push on the rights of women……and they will be forceful in their condemnation of such an accusation……

Congress will be zeroing in on reproductive rights of women…..and here are the attacks to watch……

Seven Reproductive Rights Issues to Watch in 2015.

  1. As a right-wing mental titan, I am completely for defunding Planned Parenthood from the government. It is the most profitable non-profit organization ever. They can solicit donations like any other non-profit organization but tax-payer dollars need not go to it, period. Another thing, when a teacher can take your daughter, without your permission, to an abortion clinic, but cannot take your daughter on a field trip without your permission, there is something seriously wrong here. Teachers pressured and pressured my daughter that she should have an abortion when she found she was pregnant as a Senior in high school. She had been in honor’s classes, advanced placement classes and had initially envisioned going to Columbia to be a journalist. But the young man she was pregnant with had visions of living in a VW, and traveling around with the Rainbow people. So either way, she way throwing away what these teachers thought was her future. She came to her own decision, then came to us.

Reproductive rights belong to the one reproducing. And if that one isn’t being responsible, then using abortion as a means of birth control, not being told the truth about it by the ‘counselors’ in Planned Parenthood, is not only wrong, but criminal. And far from worthy of We, the People’s tax dollars.

And yes, there should be opt-out choices for physicians and hospitals that hold to certain beliefs. That can be make clear long before someone were to arrive. All Catholic hospitals will not perform abortions!!! OH MY!!! Go to another one. Ask your OB/GYN at your next visit, do you perform abortions. If not, find one that will. That is YOUR responsibility, not We, the People’s.

As for paying for your birth control…. most of those on some form of government aid are already receiving contraceptives whether in the form of birth control pills, the long lasting injection, an IUD, diaphragm and spermacide, vaginal condoms, and condoms for their partners all free of charge, at tax-payer expense already.

If you work for a company that has a moral standard that says they cannot, in good faith, support particular procedures, it is your right to find employment elsewhere. There was such an outcry about Hobby Lobby, but did you see those that work for Hobby Lobby out picketing? No. They enjoy their wage, their package, and their Sundays off. If they didn’t, they would not work there.

Chic-fil-a, Culver’s (mostly in WI) are Christian-owned companies, however, they are opened 7 days a week to accommodate the public demand… though some Chic-fil-a’s do close on Sundaya.

My point is… this is still a free country and you are entitled to your opinion, but not to We, the People’s tax money. ALL of us pay into that; not just you. Use your free choice and find another doctor, another hospital, another job, that will give you what you want as you earn it just like the rest of the working class does.

May God have mercy on our American souls…

    1. Free choice is gone! The government is more intrusive than the GOP would have you believe…..propaganda is all around us….and it being used more effectively than in 30’s Germany….Sorry Rhonda but those companies are open because they see a readily source of cash…..like CVS promoting the lack of tobacco sales as a good thing for you…..they actually did it to stop paying the taxes on tobacco….but it sounds good and responsible….

God is not listening……he gave us a brain and we refuse to use it for good…..he now watches t0po see how long stupid will last.

      1. I happen to agree with you that propaganda is all around us, largely by the GOP. As you pointed out, CVS… its a load of BS and I know it. I used to use that pharmacy. I now have a local family-owned pharmacy that offers more services than the BIG PHARM companies do! For example, I am on over 35 meds a day, they have a robot that packages them for me so I don’t have to try to fill a weekly reminder. AND they deliver for free!

I have been saying it, and I will continue to say it to the Christian community… God has blessed this country for over 200 years and He’s all but forgotten. It’s time for America to bless God. I got a woman to chastise me that its God that does the blessing. I don’t back down easily and was at the ready. She didn’t respond.

It isn’t that He isn’t listening, He is giving us over to our own devices just like he did with Sodom and Gomorrah, Israel as well when they wanted a human kind instead of Him being their king. He gave them what they wanted.

He has endowed us with brains that we are to use for good, I agree. And in the infamous words of Forest Gump, “Stupid is and stupid does.”

      2. If you notice…I do not write much on religion….to me religion is a private thing and is between the person and his/her God…..who am I to say what is right or not?

WE Americans excel in STUPID! Sad as it is…..one of my fave quotes is …..”Stupidity is the deliberate cultivation of Ignorance”…….

      3. I concur. And I don’t mean to force religion on you. I was only sharing my perspective. I also have an Internet Ministry called LIKE PRECIOUS FAITH Ministries. It is a place for anyone that name the Name of Jesus and their Savior as well as the one who is seeking to know more about him. The articles are all by pen names. Mine are Beenblessed should you ever want to take a look its likepreciousfaith.info If you do stop by, please leave a comment as feedback is very welcome.

      4. It is NO problem….like I said have pushy religious types….I will be honest again…..I am a Gnostic and have been so since 1967….my Christian beliefs are very different from most….

      5. You are permitted to have your own beliefs, even by Him! 🙂 I am a ‘radical’ bible-believing, tongue-taking, pentecostal. But I do NOT believe that it is my job to push my beliefs onto someone else. If they ask me, I will be happy to share. If not, then I don’t. I am part of a Pastor’s Network in Linked In (with NO credentias! LOL) and I am completely amazed and ashamed by some of the way people ‘behave’ and I am not afraid to call them out on it. I have gotten a lot of ‘connections’ because of it. I am also part of the Psychology Network (again, with NO credentials LOL) and I have an opportunity to learn, and to also ‘teach’ those who are willing to hear as I have been there, done that.

Doors are opened to us for reasons that are completely foreign to us. We can take advantage of the opportunity given us, as I believe you would, as well, or we can simply say, no thanks, and the door shuts. It’s a matter of choice and God has given man free will so that we can have a choice. Not preaching, just validating both of our stances.

I so enjoy our discussions! I learn so much and I hope that I have had something to offer you as well. ~ Rhonda

      6. Most people do not know that Gnostics are Christians, for me the true Christians, and for that we are called many names….I just smile at them and wink….I know where I am going….I cannot say that for many Christians I know…..

        I also enjoy our exchanges…..thanx.

      7. 😉 I believe that He caused our paths to cross for a reason. Iron sharpens iron. You are a blessing to me. I thank Him for you, and I thank you for tolerating me! 🙂 I know where I’m going as well, and like you, I am not so sure that those who claim to be Christians know either. Thank you for stopping by my site! I appreciate that!

      8. Honorable traits that ALL Americans should have! Unfortunately, those in Washington do not have them. And several generations have come and grown without them. For you, this is what I admire about you; and what keeps me coming back! Even if we don’t always agree, there is respect that we can agree to disagree. I believe that you are honest in all that you say, and I completely believe in your trustworthiness and would stand in your defense as I would have your six! I highly respect you, chuq! For what its worth… Rhonda

      9. GW would not shake hands or stay in the same room as a politician…..any politician…..I’m not gonna say the lesson were easy…..I fought them at times but I was shown the error of my ways….LOL I thank you…..chuq
