  1. It might be worth noting in all of this Dr. Chuq, that Booz Allen Hamilton, the private contractor that the CIA outsourced some of its security work to and who Snowden was working for when he decided to violate his oath to keep all things secret, is owned by The Carlyle Group, “the long-time DC heavyweight private equity firm with deep connections to the Bush family” It was under the last Bush administration where Booz Allen linked up with the CIA and the NSA.

“Shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Booz Allen was hired by the CIA to audit the agency’s monitoring of trillions of dollars in international financial transactions moving through a European cooperative called SWIFT….

They also served “as the NSA’s chief advisor on one of its most significant outsourcing projects. Called Groundbreaker, this huge project was launched shortly before the 9/11 attacks to overhaul the NSA’s internal I.T. systems.”

    1. I have NEVER liked the outsourcing of intel or diplomat security…..I do not trust any of them. For them it is about the cash not national security…..again all this smells like fecal matter.

  2. I have returned to WordPress.Com – – leaving was a mistake so I am back!

The NSA thing first got me worried about government surveillance and then I remembered that this stuff has been going on to one degree or another ever since the beginnings of the McCarthy witch hunts for communists in the government – – and maybe even before that into the Prohibition Era – – The formation of the FBI and all that kind of stuff.

There is a toss up about this kind of stuff – – either it keeps us safe from terrorists or it doesn’t – – and I think sometimes I would rather have the government doing their job in keeping us safe – – I mean after all they aren’t reading everyone of those billions of bits of information they are gathering now are they? It would be a logistical impossibility.

So I am thinking that only stuff that throws up some kind of warning flag is getting the big eye treatment from Uncle and if that is the case then count me in for being a positive acceptor of the surveillance. If not – – then maybe the program has to be reviewed.

    1. Welcome back John……I saw that you had about 500 hits already….that was good….so what happened?

All programs like this need to be in constant review….abuses will happen….
