All the chest thumping on Iran….one side stops short of war in their wishes for the handling of Iran.  The other thinks sanctions will do the job but leave ALL options on the table.  We listen to the short basket case spout , rant and sweat……but all the while we are told just how close they are to getting a bomb….and then a couple of days later we hear they are not as close as first thought……….and we are told by politicians and paid pundits that we need to keep a sharp eye on the developments in Iran…….and we do as we are told….as usual……

But while you are fixated on Iran there is a sneaking cancer slowly growing and mostly ignored, at least by the media and those high paid war hawks……..Professor?  What should we be fixated on for now?

As North Korea reaches the final stage of preparations for a long-range rocket launch, concern is growing that it is in the early stages of preparing its underground test site for another nuclear explosion.

Many North Korea watchers argue that the country’s effort to construct an effective three-stage rocket or missile is meant ultimately to reach targets in the United States. Other experts believe the North Koreans are looking at American military bases in Asia and the Pacific.

Dan Sneider, of Stanford University’s Asia Pacific Research Center, believes this is consistent with North Korean plans to prevent U.S. air and ground forces stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and Guam from defending South Korea.

North Korea is quietly sure up their nuke program while developing a long range delivery package……..maybe we should start worrying about an actual program and not so much of a program that still has ways to go before it is functioning.

I am not saying we need to ignore what Iran is doing, but pay more attention to one that is closer to being deployable…….
