By now I believe everybody has witnessed the story of the black lady who worked for the USDA and her racist rant….which was a total fabrication…..and the mainstream media once it got the whole tape came down on the side of the Right and asking why the WH act too quickly to force this woman to resign….
I agree that the government acted before the whole picture was seen……but that is NOT the story they should be reporting….but then ALL conservs will do the stories that will do the most harm to the Pres…..that is ALL that matters to make the WH look ineffectual and panicky…….
The REAL story should be that some yellow journalist has ruined the life of an innocent person…..all the try and get even with the NAACP for the resolution on racists in the Tea Party……..it is all about a woman that was slandered by some pig on the Far Right and NO one is holding him accountable, at least in the media. Why?
The Mainstream Media should be ashamed of itself….if they want to be journalist than they need to let the bullshit reside where it is most comfortable….FOX News. Watching FOX news I have NOT seen them apologize for their coverage on a loop to be sure that all their pea brain viewers would get a shot at it…….and after some coward trying to disguise himself as a journalist has gone on FOX and defended the tape…and still NO one has called him to task to his action…….
Let me be the first (hopefully NOT) to apologize to Ms. Sherrod for the treatment she has received and continues to receive in the media…”I am truly sorry for the actions of the media…..it is never about the truth but rather the agenda”…….

True…and this is why I spend so much time trying to educate…make people ask questions and to get answers that can be checked…..
The media is not going to regulate itself. There is bias in every corner and to point out another network’s bias will just bring the spotlight on their own skeletons. So, it is in their best interest to keep quiet. Unfortunately, the people have stopped holding media to any kind of integrity as evidenced by Limbaugh, Beck, Olbermann, and so on.
And since it became a corporate media the regulation is gone…..you are right…..but a lie needs to be attacked and attacked hard…no matter who says it……I have considered myself a liberal and I still attack Obama and the like for their lies as well as the right which cannot exist without them….the media is not looking for the truth they are just dumbing down the people to fit the agenda…whether right of left……we as bloggers should be the ones to point out crap where we find it…not just echo the crap…..
Question (and I don’t mean this to be rude, though it probably is): are they dumbing down the people to fit the agenda, or are they dumbing down the agenda to fit the people?
A little of both I guess……but it seems to be the later since most Americans have the average attention span of an eight year old…..
I think it is silly that the story is that the prez and his boyz overreacted instead of the lie……and to let the guy that caused this to go on TV and talk like he is a victim is just fucking moronic…….conservs need to be careful….all this hate and lies could bite them in the ass….
FOX has spent all day spinning the USDA, the Prez and when did he know it. Not once have they said anything about their part in this drama for their day long run with a lie….
If I was this woman I would hire a really good lawyer and take people to task for slandering my reputation…….
MSNBC has apologized for their part in this…as has NBC…..but FOX does not seem to think that they had anything to do with the drama…..this is why I have NO use for FOX or people that think it is news…..
