The world knows we here in the US have some crazies….those that try to drive through road blocs and attack the White House or those that shoot kids playing hide and seek or those that cannot remember that they have kids in the car and leave them to die in a hot car…..some times we feel we are alone with the crazies…..but we are not…..even our friends in the UK are dealing with these morons….

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch, his wife Sophie Hunter, and their three young children were inside their north London home when a man kicked through the iron garden gate, threw a plant at the garden wall, and took a knife to the property’s intercom system. “I know you’ve moved here, I hope it burns down,” the 34-year-old suspect shouted before fleeing, the Guardian reports, citing court records. He was identified as Jack Bissell, a former chef at the five-star Beaumont Hotel, based on DNA taken from spit spewed at the intercom, per court documents. It’s unclear when exactly the attack occurred. Details of the case were concealed until a successful challenge to the restrictions, per the BBC.

Shortly before the attack, Bissell had told a shopkeeper that he planned to break in to Cumberbatch’s house and burn it down, prosecutors said. He reportedly offered no defense for his actions. He pleaded guilty to criminal damage on May 10 and was fined roughly $310. Bissell—described by some outlets as the actor’s former chef—was also handed a three-year restraining order that will require him to stay away from the family and the area in which they live. “Naturally all of the family were absolutely terrified and thought this guy was going to get in and hurt them,” a source tells the Daily Mail, per the BBC. “Benedict and Sophie have had many sleepless nights since worrying that they may be targeted again.”

What did Cumberbatch do to this guy?

He was absolutely evil as Khan in Into Darkness….but did that deserve this type of crazy?

Never thought I would ever hear a politician, especially one in control, ever say the things Our Dear Leader said the other day….

Hours before President Donald Trump’s former lawyer released an audio recording of Trump discussing a hush-money payment to a former Playboy model, the president uttered a phrase that critics said seemed ripped from the pages of George Orwell’s classic dystopian novel 1984.

“It’s all working out,” Trump told a gathering of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Kansas City, Missouri. “Just remember: What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening.”

The remark was made as the president promoted his plan to hit China with new tariffs in an address that took on the form of a campaign speech. Trump’s escalating trade war has resulted in rising costs for some products that farmers rely on, as China has responded to Trump’s first round of tariffs introduced earlier this month.

“Don’t believe the crap you hear from these people—the fake news,” he said of reports of the negative impact of his trade policy.

And the truly sad part is that I know people that will believe this slug on every outrageous lie he tells….without the least amount of proof…..what should be termed as the “mental midget brigade”…..people that will believe a lie over their own eyes and ears….yes 1984 comes to mind.  (Think that is a stretch then maybe reading a book would improve your mind)

Lies to the Left, lies to the Right….the country suffers and no one cares…….the masses just keeps applauding for worthless slogans and booing anyone not in agreement with their limited understanding of reality.

Just what part of the statement has anything to do with democracy?  The last time I checked this nation was deemed a “democracy”…the statement that I am referring to is something that I have heard many times (I am old so it is many years)……people like Saddam, Andropov, Stalin, Idi Amin, on and on…..but never thought I would hear the leader of this country ever utter such nonsense.

Now the question is….how long will the American people allow this to continue?

No Fool Like An Old Fool

Some much drama in the world….how about a little humor on a Friday?

How many times have you heard that old saying…..usually uttered after some story about some old fart that did something that some do not approve of….probably something they consider immoral or whatever……

Then there are times when the old saying does have some validity……and this is just such a situation…..

An 84-year-old New Yorker’s date with two 17-year-old twin sisters ended with the senior citizen tied up and robbed, according to police.

The New York Times reports that Paul Aronson met up with 17-year-old Shaina Foster last month through SeekingArrangement.com, a sugar daddy site that bills itself as a place “where beautiful, successful people fuel mutually beneficial relationships,” according to the Times.

After a first date, Shaina brought her twin sister Shalaine along to the second. The trio dined at an “expensive restaurant” and then Aronson invited them back to his apartment for a drink, court documents said.

That’s when Shaina told authorities things got out of hand.

“He asked to do things I wasn’t going to do,” she told Detective Darryl Ng. “He is ugly, old and disgusting. I tied him up. I took his money and left. He was starting to creep me out.”

The reason I re-tell that story is because of a report I read along those lines……

That gives men a “highly statistically significant” 88.7% of the awards for those “who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it.” Men who accidentally castrate themselves are also eligible for Darwins.

The finding “supports the hypothesis that men are idiots and idiots do stupid things,” the study’s four male authors write, explaining that men are more likely to take idiotic risks, sometimes when drunk or showing off—or often both, as in the case of three Cambodian men who played a form of Russian roulette by taking turns to stamp on a landmine until it exploded, killing all three of them. One author explains that “idiotic risks are defined as senseless risks, where the apparent payoff is negligible or non existent, and the outcome is often extremely negative and often final,” the Telegraph reports. The authors say they plan to further explore “male idiot theory” in “a semi-naturalistic Christmas party setting.”

Let’s be honest….we men can do and say some incredibly stupid stuff……and my fave “what were you thinking moment” was when a terrorist sent a later bomb….it was returned for lack of sufficient postage and the would be bomber open the letter and killed himself…..DON’T GET TOO MUCH STUPIDER THAN THAT!
