Continuing the break in my weekend protocol……

We still have the back and forth over guns…..all the drama of those “traitors” that voted against background checks……the media cannot let this go…..and of course the gun nuts are fighting everything tooth and nail……and they have found a new  slogan to help fight…..”Lefties are suffering from hoplophobia”…….a psychological disorder that is a morbid fear of guns…….sounds all shrinky, right?

The problem is it is……..bullshit!

The Daily Caller discounted the experiences of some victims of gun violence who have promoted stronger gun laws by claiming they suffer from “hoplophobia,” a fake psychological disorder defined by the gun rights movement as “the morbid fear of guns.”

This baseless attack found in the featured article of Daily Caller’s “Guns and Gear” section is the latest salvo from a conservative media that have launched vicious attacks on survivors of gun violence who support reforms to current gun laws.

The Daily Caller article purported to examine “hoplophobia” as an actual psychological condition, asking, “Is America required to accept psychological acting out as a legitimate form of legislative discourse?” However this “disorder” is not recognized by the American Psychiatric Association and instead is a term coined by the late National Rifle Association board member and famed shooting instructor Jeff Cooper.

It is not a legitimate disorder!  It is the NRA playing games and making up bullshit because they cannot handle the truth so lies are needed to make the uninformed more pliable.

This is why there is NO logical debate on gun violence…….the opposition will sink to any low to make the debate stall…..LIES are their best weapons……and the sad part is that the American people do NOTHING………they repeat lies…..and believe lies…..all in the name of the Constitution….a document they so love but have NO idea what it is all about……
