The notion AforP makes about “the tax code is to raise the necessary revenue for essential government services; not to punish individuals or firms for their size or success” is really a straw man argument. New private jets are hardly a true “100% expensing provision”. I’m pretty sure that wealthy people have had such items slipped into existing tax codes for self-serving purposes and now want to make it look like Democrats “want it both ways”.
Americans for Prosperity is almost exclusively funded by the billionaire Koch brothers and anything they say should be taken with a grain of salt and critically analyzed.
Larry, I wanted people to see this crap for themselves……I do not think people are paying attention anymore…..not since the election that is….
