Drones R Cuming!

Drone

I have always said…..if you say the government can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead hand……if the government truly comes for your guns then that is exactly what they will do.

    1. Will not have to…the government will NOT come for anyone’s arms…..when voting is being restricted or trying to circumvent the electoral college….I would say that the tyranny you dread is closer then you think….

  1. Personally, I would rather die protecting my freedoms than live as a slave to tyranny. Thank God we have the right to own weapons to use to protect our freedoms from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

    1. FL, I have heard that a lot and from many different people and most are just blowing smoke…..most people do not have it in them to act against their nature….

      1. I will do what I must…owning a gun does not make me a free man….knowing when to use it does…..planning to use it when not necessary makes me a fool…..I am no fool.

      2. Never said owning a gun is what makes anyone a freeman, all though a gun is one tool to protect that freedom. Without tools to defend our freedoms you may as well be a slave, that is why it is spelled out in plan english in our Constitution.

  2. “if the government truly comes for your guns then that is exactly what they will do.”

  3. Look, Obama, Feinstein, Biden, Pelosi, and the liberal-media need to shut their ignorant mouths. All this talk about gun-control is nonsense.

Republicans control the House and would never agree to any sort of ban. Obama and his fawning media whores can berate Republicans all they want, but it won’t make a difference. Republicans will not agree to a ban – ever.

If Democrats, by some miracle, take over the entire government after the mid-term elections, it would have to be a filibuster proof supermajority, which is highly doubtful.

If that were to happen, however, then liberals would still have to deal with the Supreme Court, which is controlled by conservatives and has already set a strong Second Amendment precedent.

But let’s say something happens, God forbid, to one of the conservative justices and Obama appoints some nutty liberal to the court, who manages to get confirmed.

Government will still have to deal with the American public. Police are not going to be much help in their battle because nearly 300 County Sheriffs have vowed not to enforce any bans that interfere with the Second Amendment. Also, the military is over 70% Republican, according to voting results. So, it’s doubtful they’ll be much help either.

The sad reality for liberals is that no matter how hard they try, it’ll be a long, long time before their gun-ban has any real chance of success. Until that time, they risk getting themselves tried for treason and hung. People stupidly believe that America is immune from such things…

    Try it.

    1. If it has NO chance then why all the whining? If the ownership of assault weapons is so important to anyone having a good life then may I suggest that they join the military and put their bravado work protecting the country and their freedoms…..I carried a M-16 for 2 and half years and used it for what it was made for….war……. so please spare me the diatribes.

      1. Lobotero,

If not gun-control, then what? It has to be something, right? Or, are you saying that political whining actually does, at times, stop?

Paracord was made for the military too, Lobotero. Are you suggesting we ban that?

Just because something was “made for the military” doesn’t mean it has no place in civilian life. 99.9% of AR 15 owners do not go into schools and kill 20 kids, so why should they have their freedom curbed?

Easy. They shouldn’t – and any suggestion to the contrary is nonsense.

      2. I did, served 3 years in the US Army. Scored Marksmen with a M-16 and 9mm Berreta, oh ya.. and grenades. I also drove a M1-A1 Abrams.

With my military service I gained a better understanding why we have the right to bear arms. Too many disarmed nations are under the control of dictators. We are armed so that we will not have to fight against our own government.

      3. Are we listing our military experience……2 and half years recon and sniper duty Mekong Delta and learned that survival depended m ore on knowledge and skill then on the number of rounds I could fire in any given minute…..BTW, the M-16 is a piece of crap in mud and wet terrain….and I would bet that it is not much better in sand….

      4. I’m aware of your service lobotero, I just wanted you to know that I have worn the uniform and stood guard on foreign soil for freedom. I was blessed to not have to serve in a combat zone like you did, but I was prepared to do so if called upon.

Honestly didn’t worry much about my M-16 when it came to combat training, as long as I kept the track on my tank there was no need for me to carry such a small caliber weapon. 🙂

    2. You put too much faith in politicians, and the Republican party specifically.

In 1991, Ronald Reagan said at a ceremony at George Washington University: “I want to tell all of you here today something that I’m not sure you know. You do know that I’m a member of the NRA. My position on right to bear arms is well known. But I want you to know something else. And I’m going to say it in clear unmistakable language. I support the Brady bill and I urge the Congress to enact it.”

Given the right polticial motive even a Repulican will pass gun control laws.

      1. Republicans supported gun-control then, sure. Now days? After the Tea Party sprang to life? I doubt it. Too many of them in the House owe their success to the Tea Party. If they bite the hand that feeds them, their done.

      2. Again Terrance, you put to much faith in politicians my friend. If the GOP cared at all about what Tea Party voters wanted they never would have nominated Romney. Tell me this, did Rand Paul’s SOTU rebuttal get air time on television? Have you heard any of the GOP leadership mention it?

The Tea Party movement may be alive in well locally, but the GOP wants nothing to do with it. The few elected reps that the tea party assisted in to office will be marginalized by GOP leadership until they can be replaced.

  4. I’d be good anyway, living in Michigan. We’re totally controlled by Republicans and they’re about to pass a law that would prohibit any law enforcement agencies from arresting people on any unconstitutional federal firearm bans.

Our Republicans have already said that if they pass a law banning AR 15s, we’ll invite the gun-manufacturer into Michigan to produce the weapons and sell them here. The guns won’t be crossing state lines because they’ll be made right in MIchigan. And, like I said, our police will be barred from enforcing Federal firearms laws, and the FBI, ATF, and any other Federal authority will be breaking Michigan law if they interferer. They may find themselves in jail – or in a fucking war.

Ah. It’s good to live in a Republican-controlled state.

      1. It is, isn’t it? Liberals are fine with the First, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Amendments, but squawk at the Second and Tenth Amendments.

        I dunno. Weird.

      2. You give them too much credit Terrance, most liberals and progressives hate the first Amendment and only tolerate it so they can spew their nonsense. With the Democrats supporting the “Patriot” act you can assume they don’t care much for the Fouth Amendement is not loved much either. 5th Amendment, no love there either, research the use of eminent domain. I’m not even sure if they like the ninth either, that may need more research.

But they definitly hate the second and tenth above the others with the first amendment following (when they can’t use it for their own benefit).

      3. Nonsense? NO one hates the Constitution that is the type of misinformation and lies that has turned the system into a non-functional entity……interesting that a cartoon got this much play and not any of it about the cartoon….most is personal hearsay with a pinch of emotion mixed in…because one believes something does not make opposition wrong……

      4. FLPatriot,

You might be right, but I was thinking of gay-pride parades, the Occupy movement, sit-ins, and other leftwing shindigs justified by the First Amendment. And obviously arguments could be made about the remainder of the amendments.

But at least we agree that the Second and Tenth receive the brunt of their scorn.

      5. Lobotero,

I have heard liberals call for the Constitution to be changed, man. I’ve heard many of them remark that it’s a 200+ year old document that has little relevance in the modern world. So, don’t tell me they “love” the Constitution. They plainly do not. It interferes with their utopian ideology.
