This is where the GOP can start winning in national elections……but will they actually start showing concern for the disappearing middle class?

  1. The figures say Obama’s policies have made people poorer…

Stop. Nope. You don’t get to argue that point, buddy. Bush has been out of office for four-years. No more laying the blame on him…

And guess what? Minorities have been most hurt by Obama’s policies…

Republicans need to a better job of explaining why their policies are good.

  2. This woman is almost a Democrat. I agree with most of what she says. There is one thing I think she is delusional about though. To quote her: “in the 1980s, I remember a time when Republicans stood up to special interests and purged the tax code of preferences for investment income and other special breaks.” Boy is that a load of vacuous rhetoric. Nothing could be further from the truth. Why do all Republicans remember the 80′s as a golden age? For that matter why do all Democrats remember the 90′s as a golden age? I’m pretty sure it was just because their guy was in office and we’re all programmed to be partisan. Just my two cents.

    • Hiya and welcome to the site….to answer your question….the 80′sis all the GOP has and they will keep beating that dead horse until they have more…..but they will not have more until they pull their heads out of their butts….hope to see you often….

      • Thanks, I’ll be back. Hopefully together we can illuminate some things for the American Public.
That said, I agree with you. The problem is that the 80′s were not good times. Inflation went through the roof. Government military spending increased. Debts soared. The 90′s were saved mostly by the “business cycle” and partially by the information age in my eyes, despite detrimental policies like NAFTA (which Clinton campaigned against and then signed).

      • That is my main purpose….trying to make the public think for themselves…..not an easy endeavor at all….I look forward to your input…
