“May I Please Join The Fun”?

BiBi has overseen the crush of Israeli American dollar weapons in several countries…..Iran, Gaza, Syria and Lebanon….now he wants to extend Israel’s killing machine’s extent to Yemen.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking approval from Saudi Arabia to join the war in Yemen against Ansar Allah, also known as the Houthis, Haaretz reported on Monday.

The report cited an unnamed diplomatic source who also said that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman opposed Israeli military involvement over concerns about likely domestic backlash.

The source linked Netanyahu’s desire to get involved in the war to advancing a Saudi-Israel normalization agreement, though Saudi officials in recent years have maintained that the kingdom won’t normalize relations with Israel until there’s a path toward a Palestinian state.

Israel’s intervention in the war would also serve Netanyahu’s electoral interests, as a regional escalation involving Israel could bolster his coalition’s chances of gaining enough seats in the Knesset to form a government. The Israeli elections are scheduled to take place on October 27.

Israel has launched multiple bombing raids in Yemen in recent years as Ansar Allah imposed a Red Sea blockade on Israeli shipping and launched drone and missile attacks on Israeli territory in response to Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza. Any more direct Israeli strikes on Yemen would likely trigger Ansar Allah attacks on Israeli territory.

So far, President Trump has declined requests from MbS for the US to launch direct airstrikes against Ansar Allah, though the US is deeply involved in the war by providing intelligence and refueling Saudi warplanes to support the bombing campaign, which has killed a large number of Yemeni civilians.

Why?

And who do you think will pay for this genocidal intervention?

Apparently it is not enough to satisfy his blood lust in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and the West Bank that he has to feed before it is too late.

As a side note…just a little FYI….Israeli attacks kill nine Palestinians in Gaza on Thursday and Friday. Israeli settlers carry out at least 19 attacks across the occupied West Bank, targeting olive harvesters and property. Palestinian Authority plans to postpone November elections until September 2027. Nearly 22,000 Palestinian children killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza over three years, with more than 71,000 orphaned. Israeli military actions linked to deaths of at least 24 captives in Gaza, CNN investigation finds.

Plus the stat is in….basically it is a child killed every 71 minutes for the last 3 years….now there is something to be proud of, right?

Now they want to expand their bloody reach….disgusting.

  1. Excellent job of covering this story comprehensively. I’ll only add that bin Salman doesn’t really care about the plight of Palestinians, but does care a great deal about protecting himself. He knows his own people won’t tolerate him getting too cooperative with Israel especially after the Houthis forced him to seek shelter in protective bunkers by launching a series of deadly attacks. What I don’t understand is what has happened to the Israeli people under Netanyahu’s regime. They used to have a fairly strong anti-war political left. Why did it collapse?

    1. Robert this what a quick search produced…..

      • Public Consensus: National polls have shown that a large majority of Jewish Israelis (ranging from high-60s to over 75% depending on the specific campaign against Iran or Lebanon) continue to support the multi-front military operations, leaving anti-war voices feeling deeply isolated from the mainstream national mood.
      • Absence of the Zionist Center-Left: Prominent figures of the Zionist center-left and mainstream anti-government protest groups (such as Brothers and Sisters in Arms, who previously organized against Benjamin Netanyahu’s judicial overhaul) have largely distanced themselves from the anti-war movement because they do not outright oppose the military campaigns.
      • Dual Demands: The broader anti-government movement—symbolized by rallies at Hostages Square and nationwide protests—continues to blend demands for Benjamin Netanyahu’s resignation, early elections, and a permanent hostage/ceasefire deal with shifting security realities.

I am sure there is more…..chuq

      1. Interesting, thanks. I wonder if the 1995 assassination of Yitzhak Rabin had a detrimental effect on the anti-war left too.

  2. Israel will never be satisfied. Their bloodlust is up, and increasing to new levels. If the Saudis agree to letting them join the fight against the Houthis, Saudi Arabia itself will be next on Israel’s list. As long as they have backing from the US, they believe they can take over and dominate the entire region.

    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. war is insanity and people get killed in them all the time…men, women and children … all slaughtered in wars … collateral damage …well accepted fact amonth war mongers… no getting away with it …money rules…power prevails…no sense ruminating about the things we cannot change.
