President Bush says security in Iraq is improving, in part because of his decision to send 30,000 troop reinforcements last year. VOA White House Correspondent Scott Stearns reports, opposition Democrats say the cost of the war is hurting Americans at home.

Now think about that.  Basra is a tender box, Iraqis deserting positions, Iraqis refusing to fight, increase in mortar attacks and a rise in car bombs, does any of that sound more secure?  Americans continue to die and for what?

Because some people do not want to LOSE.  Has that win at any cost been so driven into out brains, that we will allow more Americans to die just to avoid using the word?
