Right now there is a rush to vet all the Dem candidates….plus the desire to “force” VP Biden into another run for the presidency by hammering his name daily and prodding him into a dash for the White House….if not the 2020 election then the legal claptrap as the MSM pushes for the release of the Special Council’s report (due out any hour, according to the MSM)….(it’s out now and MSM does not like the findings so far)…..
But what are they saying about our Beloved Supreme Leader’s chances if he decides to run for re-election?
Good question, right?
Politico has touched on the possibility of a win in 2020……
President Donald Trump has a low approval rating. He is engaging in bitter Twitter wars and facing metastasizing investigations.
But if the election were held today, he’d likely ride to a second term in a huge landslide, according to multiple economic models with strong track records of picking presidential winners and losses.
Credit a strong U.S. economy featuring low unemployment, rising wages and low gas prices — along with the historic advantage held by incumbent presidents.
While Trump appears to be in a much stronger position than his approval rating and conventional Beltway wisdom might suggest, he also could wind up in trouble if the economy slows markedly between now and next fall, as many analysts predict it will.

And his chances of re-election are looking good…..his approval tating is at 41% and the report from Mueller has handed Trump the perfect tool to run on in 2020….https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/25/politics/donald-trump-mueller-report-presidency/index.html
Dems need to proceed from this point on with caution…..their knee jerk BS could hand Trump the election.
What say you?
Will he be re-elected…that is if he stands for it?
If not, who will beat him?
The election will be determined by a few votes in the swing states. Fifty thousand or so voted in western Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. How that will play out in 2020 is I don’t think predictable at this point.
I agree that it will probably turn in large part on the economy. Economists have been predicting a recession for years now and tge economy just keeps growing. A growing economy increases the chance of re-election.
One of my daughters lives in rural North Georgia in deep red. She says they love Trump there now more than ever. Those votes are not going to be likely to change.
Fifty thousand votes
I live in Mississippi and Trump will get their votes…..even though many have been hurt by his economic policies…..stupid is as stupid does….chuq
I still cannot see anyone with enough personality to beat him. If he stands again, he might well win.
Best wishes, Pete.
I am thinking the same thing….scary for the nation….chuq
Hello chuq. 🙂
At this moment politics is so much like a French farce, that I am inclined to give up on it completely.
I am having yet another break as I am not sure if any of it makes sense. I put it down to carnal man or as a Greek philopher said “Historical circumstances change Human nature doesn’t…
Keep up the good work.
Thanx my friend and I appreciate your visits and Tweets….chuq
